oreo update (KDZ) works in LG G6 H870? - LG G6 Questions and Answers

I know it might be a trivial question, but recently I saw a new update for the G6 OREO (https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/development/lg-g6-oreo-g600-download-t3784263) , and was wondering if I can flash this update on my H870, or am I going to take a risk of brickning my G6?

This is for G600 variant so obviously you can't flash it.

Sorry for the noob question, it's probably been asked on here, but have not been able to find a solid answer. I have a US Cellular LG G6, which by now I know bootloader can't be unlocked. But, is there any way to update to Android Oreo? Currently on Android Nougat 7.0. thanks in advance.

h910 unbranding? US996 conversion possible?

Hi.
Is there any way I can change the firmware/software of my h910 V20 to H915, US996, F800 or other non-carrier-branded stock firmware?
Pls recommend a good guide if you know one.
If yes, can I still update the phone to newer versions of the firmware I switch to (eg future Oreo releases for the firmware/device version I converted into), or would I have to flash something in between?
Please advise, I'm relatively new to this.
Thanks in advance.

Help on flashing nougat? :)

Hi there!
I'm looking up stuffs on how to flash Nougat 7.0 to my phone. My phone is a Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F, currently on 9.0)
It doesn't seem all to clear though.
So far, I have TWRP installed.
Anyone wants to help me find my way in this, by any chance?
Thanks!!

Due to bootloader version numbers in regards to firmware you cannot down grade to previous version. IE: pie to nougat or even some version of oreo.

Can you guys check and tell me if this is real? is there a way to root ls997 oreo now that I do not know?
kindly let me know.
thanks in advance.
Looks like that's just for SIM unlocking the phone. The LS997 is known to carrier re-lock itself when upgrading to Oreo. Software version ZVC is still ARB1, so it's still unrootable as far as I'm aware.

Moto G4 Amz Version

Hello, i would like to ask here if someone has the same issue, i had a fully working Moto G4 AMZ Version Running Nougat, however after waiting too much and the oreo version never was released, i wanted to try to flash the firmware and update it via rsd lite with oreo version, however this resulted in my phone bricked, i tried some ways to downgrade again to nougat however i was not able since it is not possible to downgrade to stock amz firmware once i had updated it with wrong version of 8.0, so may i ask if after maybe 1 year is there any advance or release for the 8.0 amz version firmware? i think the only solution for this is to send the device back to motorola, but i will ask first here any other ideas?
Thank you in Advance
Henser.
Use lenovo save and rescue to unbrick your phone.
I’ve tried installing stock moto G4 Android 8.1 and no luck. This is with boot loader unlocked, custom kernel and root. No luck.
same issue, i try from time to time to recover the device with no luck, still waiting for a solution with bootloader locked
