I just bought an S7 edge (please the device is not stolen I have the note)
*** It was in version 6.0, it appeared as soon as I connected the same on wifi, I received an update notification for 7.0
** After the update, my chip is showing "not registered on the network", but has signal, the imei is being recorded, until my number is detected in the settings.
but I can not make calls.
*** In order to recover the phone, I downloaded TW recovery here, and installed a 7.0 by recovery.
This: 935F-2DRC6_ver2.zip (I can not find the link from it, but it was downloaded from here right from xda) it has root.
even so, I can not make calls.
I tried to go back through Odin to 6.0, but when I select BL, the flash aborts with error, ("SW REV CHECK FAIL: [system] Fused 2> Binary 1")
And if I flash without BL, but adding all others, I have bootloop, and I no longer have recovery, not even the original.
I need to get it back to 6.0, please help me ...

Not sure why the update would knock you phone off the network. When you say " it doesn't show the number" are you talking about your IMEI or phone number? The error you are getting from odin maybe because you are a higher binary now, you cannot downgrade the binary.
Go to settings, about phone and signal, do you see your phone settings populated in there?

I'm from Brazil as well, and I have the same problem. I even paid people on the web from places like like "Mercado Livre" (Brazilian eBay) to do a fix, but nothing worked, still have the phone not working with me....
So sad....
Download z3x pro cracked and root then patch cert on box and enjoy

Well, the first thing to do is to follow the site rules. All posts must be in English.
If you haven't tried it already, install a stock Android 5.x ROM via Odin and see if that restores your IMEI. If it doesn't, you'll have to take the S4 in to the service center, since you made no backup of the IMEI and EFS.
Bem, a primeira coisa a fazer é seguir as regras do site. Todas as mensagens devem ser em Inglês.
Se você ainda não tentou fazê-lo já, instale uma ROM estoque 5.x Android via Odin e ver se que restaura o seu IMEI. Se isso não acontecer, você terá que tomar o S4 para o centro de serviço, desde que você não fez backup do IMEI e EFS.
Hey, I have a PureNexus 7.1.2 ROM and I want to go back to an official 6.0.1, but I don't have any backup and I don't know how to install the only official ROM I found for LATAM (I'm a new user so I can't share links, but surely you know that GitHub motoxplay file, I found it there) since it can't be installed via twrp, and it doesn't have the right format to be installed by fastboot commands either.
I would appreciate if anybody knows how to install that ROM (file_delta-ota-Blur_Version.24.61.52.lux_retla_ds.retla.en.01) or has a Latin America backup they could share.

Instala via RSD Lite, voltar pra stock não é tão fácil a ponto de voltar pelo TWRP hehehe... enfim, baixa o firmware mais novo no Github, baixe os drivers certos do seu celular em seu computador, extraia o firmware em uma pasta vazia, no RSD Lite vá onde há 3 pontinhos e leve até o arquivo que você extraiu, conecte seu moto x play no computador depois de coloca-lo em modo fastboot, espere que seu dispositivo tenha sido reconhecido pelo programa e comece a instalação, rápida e simples! há um modo mais chato e complicado... mas creio que não vai ser necessário, a não ser que tenha dado erro neste!
Olá galera do XDA, por bastante tempo venho baixando e flasheando roms daqui, eu amo esse site! Mas ainda sou novato nessa área e hoje eu encontrei um problema que fez eu quebrar a cabeça na internet e não consigo uma solução, eu estou tentando fazer downgrade do bootloader e o modem 6.0.1 pro 5.0 mas tá dando Failed no odin, vale ressaltar que o Bootloader e o Modem que eu estou usando é o do G900F e meu celular é o G900M mas eu já fiquei sabendo que as coisas do G900F tem compatibilidade com o G900M, e a rom que eu estou tentando usar é 5.1.1 mas com o bootloader e o modem do lolipop eu já consigo né? Eu uso o bootloader e modem da rom stock do meu celular e rom fica bugada, fica sem wi-fi e os botões de voltar e aplicações recentes ficam inutilizáveis. E eu já não sei mais o que fazer. Se vocês poderem e ajudar eu ficaria muito feliz!

it happens to me it's all about the modem and bootloader
you should have a lolipop bootloader and modem to run lolipop and kitkat perfectpy.
if you have mm bootloader and modem and flash the kk or lp rom the navigation hardware bottons won't work.
If you flash a STOCK lollipop ROM it should fix your bootloader issue.
pessoal, estou tendo muitos problemas ao tentar restaurar a rom do meu xt1640, tudo começou depois de uma atualização o aparelho simplesmente desligou e morreu, ainda consegui ressuscitar mas não consigo reinstalar a rom dele, mostra falha em todos os comandos e não sai da tela de fastboot já tentei muita coisa ate paguei para um programador tentar restaura-lo, mas sem sucesso até agora, o erro que mostra é (FAILED (REMOTE FAILURE)) se alguém já passou por isso e conseguiu resolver, dá uma ajuda aqui por favor, eu já não sei o que fazer pra conseguir meu aparelho de volta e sinceramente estou sem condições de comprar outro. já baixei várias Roms para saber se tinha alguma compatível com meu aparelho mas até agora nada. por favor preciso muito de ajuda, desde já agradeço a qualquer um que se disponibilizar e ler esse post e tentar me ajudar. obrigado.
I'm having a lot of problems trying to restore the rom of my xt1640, everything started after an update the device simply shut down and died, I still managed to resuscitate but I can not reinstall the rom of it, it shows failure on all the commands and it does not leave the screen I have tried a lot of stuff until I paid for a programmer to try to restore it, but without success so far, the error that shows is (FAILED (REMOTE FAILURE)) if someone has already gone through this and managed to solve it, please help here , I no longer know what to do to get my device back and I'm honestly unable to buy another. I already downloaded several Roms to see if I had any compatible with my device but so far nothing. Flash gpt.bin first and then bootloader, then reboot to bootloader and then flash stock rom!
I'm having quite the same issue... first, I tried to root my xt1640 and it has bricked.. I was able to install stock rom nougat, then I did an OTa update and it has bricked again, this time I couldn't even enter bootloader, then I followed this guide forum.xda-developers.com/mot...guide-t3657761
I entered some kind of a bootloader with "start", then, when I try to flash gpt.bin, I get an error with the warning "Security version downgrade" and after that, a failed message... I tried lots of gpt's with no success!

You are trying to flash an older version of Stock ROM.

What happened when you flashed the ZTO through oding? Here i maneged to change my original ZTO(claro) to ZTO, no problems at all.

Eu usei o odin com a ROM ZTO. Ele faz todo o procedimento normalmente mas ao reiniciar para tela de idioma ele já volta em espanhol e quando vou verificar a versão do SW está como UPO e não ZTO. Já fiz com chip de operadora dentro e fora do aparelho, já dei factory reset várias vezes e não volta. Sempre dá a mesma coisa.
Um rapaz no YouTube disse que o CSC desses aparelhos do Paraguay são bloqueados, por isso não consigo mudar de ROM.
Alguém sabe me dizer se a informação procede?

He is correct.
UPO devices are region locked, and the normal CSC change method does not work on those devices.
