Hello guys!
I have X-Tron ICE/HU/PB78AA4P Android 8.0 PX5 A53 Octa-Core. As I received it all videos in YouTube app are audio only and no video just grey color. In Chrome browser mobile YouTube most of the videos are ok but there are some that are again just audio with grey color. I tried cleaning YouTube data/cache and GooglePlay Services data/cache but no result.

Any Idea how to fix this problem ?

Ok.. I fix it with setting "Watching video (Allow to watch video while driving?)" In "Driving settings". I guess this is something that is connected with the fact that my car doesn't have CAN bus and it is somehow not wired correctly.

Hey there I am experiencing the same issue . You mentioned going to Driver Settings. I cant seem to find the area that you where talking about. It really sucks that when I play a YouTube video it has audio but the screen is grey with no video. Please help.

I'm having the exact same problem. Can't get no video playback neither on the camera applicatio nor on the media player. The multimedia panel doesn't play movies and music. Any idea why this is happening?

It happened to me too, when i installed the wrong youtube app. Hard reset is the only way to fix it.
I have no problem with MM panel - works fine, plays music, video, photos. Video form camera, originally uploaded Bond trailer or Jazz Video, my .mp4 video - works OK.
I have also installed YouTube panel and I see no problems

I'm solving the problem with watching acestream sport broadcasting to my andoid stick and tv. I tried some desktop sharing apps and the result was not good. The picture was bad, flickering and resolution was corrupted too. Is there any way to make it woeking, for example some app that will stream directly acestream video to some app in android stick.

I am having some trouble with videos after the recent BlackBerry camera update. Everything time I take a video, it records and saves fine but when I try to play the video back, using any different video player it just looks like a green jumbled mess. It does this on the regular gallery, QuickPic and even Instagram. See the screenshot below.

Are you using MX Player to play videos by any chance?
I am not. And I discovered that it also does it on other people's instragram videos and snapchat stories so it must be a playback or codec issues

I have some music videos and I use MX Player to play them. In decoder settings of that app, there was HW+ option which I would enable on every phone that I had, but on Priv I had to select HW instead because videos came out green and distorted.

I'll see what happens when I use it. I hope this stuff will be fixed in an update.
Edit: I'm an idiot and I had AwesomePlayer enabled in developer settings. Using NuPlayer fixed it.
I have just recently bought a MTCD_KD unit and for some reason there is no option for me to choose video quality beyond 480P under youtube app. Does anybody ever come across this problem? How do I fix it?

YouTube generally won't let you select playback at a higher resolution than your actual screen. 480 is normal playback for a 1024x600 screen
Only Audio is playing in the YouTube app. No video is displaying except the black screen in the [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][7.1.2_R4][23/04/2017] RESURRUCCION . Some please fix that.
use apps like vidmate or snaptube for time being
