Hi guys, I need help.
I installed the stock kdz file with LGUP and now the phone bootloops.
It boots up shows the boot animation and says "upgrading android 100%" and than reboots.
Thank you

Try to install it through TWRP. You can download flashable zip from here.
Lg up always has issues. Use bridge.
I'm having exactly the same issue?
has anyone found a solution please?
LGUP flashes - but goes into boot loop
Bridge - rejects to flash, complains about battery (but I can charge when phone is constantly rebooting), no way to just turn it off

hello,
I just used this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
to restore my D802 back to stock. I believe i used the right .kdz file. the installation went well, but then when it tried to boot up it just kept displaying the lg boot animation over and over and has been doing it for about 30 mins now.
I can't boot into recovery, but I can boot into download mode.
Any solution to fix this?
Thanks in advance, Simon

If you restored teh KDZ you have recovery.
Just hold down power/volume down until you see the LG Logo, then let go and press them again. You'll see the system wipe screen.
If you're coming from anything except an LG G2 stock rom, you MUST wipe to get rid of bootloops

Hi,
I was on a rooted android 4.4.2 official, when i tried to install custom recovery using Flashify.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify
There was the Secure booting error and booted normaly.I found out that this was not possible so i quit.
Today a got an update from LG so i installed it. The phone rebooted giving the Secure booting error, and it stayed black screen.
Googling i found this tread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
I folowed it but i thought since my phone had problem with it's recovery, just flashing the recovery.img would be ok.
I restarted the phone bat it would not start. It desplays the lg logo restarts, lg logo restarts.
I can boot the recovery but it does not work. When i press recover it just restarts.
I cant boot download mode or anything else, i have been googling the hole day.
I would apricciate your help. It is a one month old phone.....
Thanks

Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Free mobile app
Same Problem here! Exact Same
Also having this issue, stuck in the secure boot loop, can't get to download mode.
Im exactly the same - im stuck in TWRP and cant boot into Download mode at all - just get the LG Bootscreen then straight into TWRP Recovery no matter what i do
Did we all except some kind of update from LG........ i wonder if this the link here and is now a common problem?
Mine was this and i thought it was just an app update for the stock apps and now im stuck big time
Any luck guys or solutions then please post here so we can keep it together and help each other!
Yeah I got an OTA update for my D803-Bell model, upon restart entered the secure boot error loop.
Sounds like, via this thread that it's commonly happening to people who had TWRP or CWM (or even aborted / possibly never completed installs like me) got nailed.
As per that thread, and everything else, I've tried every option possible -- no download mode. Recovery mode doesn't restore anything, just resterts to lg logo -> secure boot error -> black screen. Shows as QSHSUSB_BULK in windows/linux, and I can see those 25 partitions in linux (but reflashing openrecoverytwrp__.img over the recovery partition didn't help. I'm waiting to find out how I can make my own copies of those various partitions listed, from another D803-Bell model I have access to. All the D803 .img files on those links in that thread, appear to not contain D803 Bell stuff, just Telus, Rogers, etc... so I'll likely have to source my own.
I just took a shot in the dark recommended by a friend -- and fixed my phone.
I zeroed out the 'fota' partition on the phone. As seen in this thread ; http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451696
Just did a dd if=/dev/zero overtop of the fota partition, which was 25 for me from my linux box. One quick power cycle later, and I'm fully functional again, and the OTA update that killed me is still showing as available again.
So i saw there was an application update for my lg g2 (d802) so i decited to install it but now my lg is stuck in OTA mode and it wont boot up because of the secure boot error.... I can't access download mode or fastboot or recovery. It is pretty useless now . Please please help my. I really don't know what to do....

I have the LG G2 D802 (international)
I wanted to backup my whole system just in case something would go wrong. So I installed cwm and when I booted my phone in recovery mode it was giving me a 'secure boot error'. But I accidently made a backup with the cwm error (I thought it was still the original recovery but it wasn't) then iI installed twrp 2.7 for lg g2 and that worked just great =). I made my backup. But then there was an software update from android (not google play) so I clicked on the 'install update notification' and my phone turned of and back on. but it booted in twrp instead of the original recovery (duh!) I looked it up on internet and found a command line I had to fill in in the twrp menu (something with 'dd if=/' etc). that fixed the problem but still the update wasn't installed. So I installed my old recovery back (the backup I made but what wasn't the original recovery. I installed the cwm 'secure boot error" recovery back). After I click again on the 'install update notification' my phone went in a bootloop with the 'secure boot error' I fuxed that problem now through this xda thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
But now my phone is stuck in fastboot mode, I tried these solutions but none of them helped...
http://uncle-yakuza.jouwweb.nl/lg-g2-fast-boot-menu-fix
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2477595
After all the fastboot commands are done an they all said 'OKAY' I rebooted my phone and in still booted in fastboot. \
Thats the whole story, and I again don't know what to do....
I'm in a very peculiar position here, where my LG G2 is stuck as the LG boot logo, but when plugged into my computer I have access to the internal storage. Here's how I got to this situation:
I previously owned a G2 on CM11 that had hardware issues. Before swapping it out due to those issues, I had made a backup using the package listed here, which created a few .img files, including boot.img.
On my new phone, I rooted, installed TWRP, made a backup of stock
Flashed Mahdi Rom
After flashing Mahdi Rom, my phone would immediately boot into fastboot, showing "fastboot started (new line) udc_start"
I did with the procedure listed here to be able to access download mode, and this was successful.
I then followed the procedure here to return to stock, but I got an error in LG FlashTools saying that I had the wrong model number. After a bit of digging around, it seems that this error may have been caused by the Mahdi Rom flash renaming my phone to "G2" instead of "d800".
After troubleshooting this for hours, I took a stab at flashing the boot.img file mentioned earlier through fastboot. Flashing this boot.img is what triggered the predicament I'm in now - I can access the phone's internal storage on my computer via USB, but it's stuck at the LG logo.
At this time, my phone will not ADB, fastboot, or enter recovery; I can only access download mode. When trying to enter recovery, it loads for about 1 second and then I'm kicked out and it goes back to the LG load screen.
Thank you in advance for any and all help

Holy **** it worked! Thank you for linking this, my D800 baby has been resurrected.
Hi Guyz, so i managed to brick my phone yesterday. Was running Optimus G3 and decided to flash CloudyG2 3.3. Followed the instructions did a full wipe but when rebooted LG logo would flash for a split second then screen goes blank. The screen is on because can see the back-light but nothing boots. Tried a couple more restarts but the same thing happens. I did take a TWRP backup prior but when i enter recovery mode and restore the backup, when it reboots i get the LG logo then the android animation but then it freezes/stops on the Android text.
I then tried flashing stock rom via LG Flash Tool, downloaded both kitkat and lollipop kdz files, entered download mode on phone and got the firmware update message, went through the process of flashing with the flash tool but when it comes to the software upgrade part, it gets to 2% then fails. with a message - Upgrade stopped due to an error. I get this message when trying to flash both kitkat and lollipop kdz files and i have tried on both windows 10 machine and windows 7 laptop.
As i have access to recovery i have tried restoring backup many times but it just gets stuck at after the android animation, i guess my next step is to try the tot flash method but im struggling to find a clear guide on how to do this so any advice would be helpful.
Cheers, Justin.

Thanks, actually shortly after i posted question it fixed itself... i tried flashing lollipop again, the software upgrade started and it got to 2% then error. I left the LG flash tool open with the error on screen, disconnected phone and rebooted the phone... it went past LG logo and got stuck in boot just after showing android animation, so then i plugged in phone (wanted to see if could access phone via windows whilst stuck at boot) and after a couple of minutes the software upgrade window started on my pc so checked phone and it had switched into Firmware Update mode and was updating... so all good now!! Lollipop has installed and phone all working.
^^^ This may help someone with similar problem.
Thanks,
You should've flashed the kitkat bootloder before.. If you want to go back to cloudy ,flash the kitkat bootlader again..
