Hi All,
Moto G4 Plus gets automatically rebooted as soon as it reaches to lock screen after power on. This is continuously happening and i cant even use it.
(It suddenly started facing this issue, till yesterday it was working perfectly fine. yesterday night it had 7% charge and when I checked in the morning it was powered off. I plugged the charged and tried to reboot and this issue started.)
I can try the factory reset from recovery but it will erase the data which I really don't want.
What has been done till now :
I wipe cache partition from stock recovery but still no luck.
Charged phone to 100% after that also same issue.
booted the device into safe mode but still having same issue.
can you please help me here or can I get the data by "adb pull" command. am on stock non rooted phone please help me.

My Google Nexus 4 which was working without issue suddenly began stopping at random times. After few boot ups OS didn't bootup where I had to factory reset wipe from recovery mode. But suddon stopping issue still persisted. Soon it came to a situation where factory reset could n't recover at which case I tried installing Synagenmode. I could not install Synagenmode for some reason. There after I flash factory Nexus 4 ROM again. Still the sudden stopping issue exist when phone is discoonected from charging cable. Phone works fine when connected with main power.
The battery is not empty though it stopped suddenly, I am saying this because I can boot it up again though it stops again before fully bootup. Is this a hardware failure or software faikure such as battery cache

When you say your phone is stopping, do you mean it turns itself off, or just freezes? When you said you flashed factory ROM, do you mean a factory reset, a zip or a factory image via fastboot?

Yes it turn itself off.
First I factory reset via recovery mode
Then I flash factory ROM via fastboot as mentioned in "[GUIDE] Nexus 4 - Factory Image Restore" of androidcentral dot com

Try using a Qi Wireless charger and see if it does the same thing. It could be that your battery has shot craps and while it has a charge, it is not producing enough mAh/voltage and the phone is turning off believing the battery to be dead. I used to have a similar with a Samsung handset which had a removable battery. I would be at 90%+ and it would just shut off. Every time, the battery was swollen and beginning to fail.
You can see how the system is reading the battery status from a logcat. It might give you some insight into the root cause.
My device is E500H, it turned bootloop. But then, I am confident because I know how to fix it so I download the firmware to fix it throught ODIN. But when I try to fix it and switch to download mode, IT WONT SWITCH (After I left it for almost 24 hrs). I thought it's BATTERY IS LOW. So I charged it for an hour, and after it I check it again but there still no response. -_- WHAT HAPPENED? How can I fix this? This is my first time to encounter this and first time to post here because really need urgent help.
Solved
Since its a bootloop try draining the battery fully. Then connect your charger. Immediately before the boot logo apears hold the three buttom combo for recovery mode. Wipe data and cache and then reboot. Hope I helped

False alarm, yea you are right. It was drained. Haha. Though, after I flashed the firmware the bootloops still persist. -_- Tried many times flashing via Odin but when it reboots, the problem is still there.

When it stuck on the animation then press volume down+power+home button together for some time , it will again go into download mode , then flash previous rom which you were using earlier ,After flashing previous rom factory reset then wipe data /cashe . Now again flash rom which you want to install.

I experienced the same problem in my galaxy E7. I had 87% charge when i flashed the new update and it stuck in a bootloop.
Drained the battery. Connected charger and went to recovery before it started. Cleared cache and did factory reset. Started normally after that.
So basically this rom is awesome but it had only one problem. When I plugged my phone in the charger while it was turned off, it bootlooped until I restarted with the cable off. It was no big deal and nothing bad ever came out of it.
Yesterday my batter ran out while I was asleep and when I woke up it was already turned off. I, absentmindly, tried to turn it on, LG Logo, off again. Did it one more time, nothing happened, realized it's out of battery. Plugged in charger, try to turn it off/on, usual bootloop happens. Say ok and proceed with what I always did, phone gets past LG Logo, goes into SlimLP boot animation and for the first it has just stayed there. No restarts, just endless loading. Longest i Left it on to load was about 45 minutes. Never got back on.
Apart from that, I think that for some reason my recovery got uninstalled somehow, by itself, a few weeks ago. I only noticed this because before, when I wanted to get into recovery, I pressed the usual buttons and it went straight into TWRP. Now the same buttons take me to the "Factory reset screen". I know that everyone says to just go ahead and press power, but I am afraid, since I am not sure if TWRP is still functioning. This happened to me another time on the same phone, and when I confirmed the factory reset, it factory resetted.
My problem here is that I want to get my music and photos. I'm only able to enter that factory reset screen and download mode. Can I "flash" twrp safely from download mode? Should I use Flash Tool 2014 and Normal flash(which says it keeps the data) a stock g2 rom? Can I mount my phone to the computer in download mode to copy my files? I want the most risk-free approach.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, first If you can enter download mode I think you can flash kdz (Kitkat) file to stock using Flash Tool 2014. But I had this problem once and the keep data flashing didn't work (stucked at 50%), I ended up flashed it with other option (erased all data).
2. You can try the "Factory reset" nice and easy.
I think you can't see files on the device unless you enter Twrp.
It's wise to backup your phone on the computer montly or so, thank you.
I went ahead and nuked my download mode using the SRK tools. Then got access to fastboot, through which I booted to twrp and then I could move my files. All's fine, flashed my ROM again and it's going better than ever.
So for a few weeks now, my phone has been having bootloop issues. I've been trying to fix it on my own, but no luck so far.
I can get it into download mode. Up until I tried to restore it to its stock version via the User Tool, I could get it to the factory reset options, which led to the options to wipe cache, reboot, etc. However, none of those options worked. When I attempted to reset to factory settings, I got the "dead" green android with the red triangle. Then the screen goes black and starts bootlooping again.
Once in awhile I can manage to turn it on after having it turned off for hours, or even days and it works like normal, except that if I lock it or turn it off it will end up restarting and starting to bootloop again. Which is bad seeing as it drains somewhat fast due to being overheated while having the screen constantly on.
As for my experience trying to use update recovery, it gets to the downloading part then stops and gives me this message "[011.700.147.062.092]??? ??? ? ? ????". I don't even know if I am using the correct stock rom for my phone, since I only know its MEID and model name.
do u resolved this, i have the same problem
I'm using havoc 2.9 My phone battery is drained to 0%. So I'm trying to turn it on while charging. Well if you're on custom Rom you will get these animation battery>bootloader warning>battery charging. So I tried to turn it on while charging but my phone won't let me do it because it still at 0%. I tried it twice but the phone still off. So I wait the battery to hit 1% and then I turn it on. It worked. Later in afternoon when I about to copy data to pc it says "USB malfunctioned" and the phone is charging. So I turn it off and on again then I got bootloop. But somehow if I turn it on while charging it worked. Later when I tried to find solution I turn on my phone while it's connected to pc and stuck at bootloop again. I tried to turn it on while I thincharging but it didn't work anymore. So I format my data and it finally boots up but my phone can't charge. I even reinstall it again with wiping system, data, cache and dalvik. I still can't charge my phone. But if my phone is off and I plug the USB cable I can charge the phone, turn it on while charging it worked. But if I unplug the cable and plug it again it won't charge the phone. So the only way to charge my phone is to turn it off first. I can't charge my phone while it's still on. I think I broke driver or something. Maybe the driver is at persist, vendor etc. Because wiping system, data, cache and dalvik can't fix the problem. can you guys help me?
I tried connecting with fastboot but my pc can't read it so adb is useless right now. Maybe stock rom can help? But if I install stock rom and it didn't worked and I got stock recovery my phone is bricked

You mean this
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ma...stockrom-mod-asus-zenfone-max-pro-m2-t4018593
or this?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/max-pro-m2/development/rom-flashable-stock-pie-rom-0-64-t3928359
and how do i install it? what partition i should wipe?
The second one, do a clean flash, wipe dalvik, cache, data, system, vendor and then flash the rom. Also use latest ofrp as it has feature to disable recovery overwrite.
I'm facing the same issue. After trying to boot it many times, now it has completely stopped charging and its dead. Not detected by laptop also. What can I do?
