HUGE improvement in quality from my last three—2 Samsungs and (retch) free ANS—phones. No "underwater" sounds and fewer cutouts due to background noise. I didn't even have to change settings to make the improvement.
Volume seems to have same "hearing safe" limits as previous phones, would like to find out how to change that for this one. Previously it took editing buildprop, which like most phones requires root on this phone; but also needs some knowledge about which lines/settings need to be changed or added...will be watching for that assistance before my next trip to the racetrack.

Very nice clear speakers, nice balanced mid, low and highs.
Loving mine in everyday use compared to my GS7 Active. Sounds are much more vivid and clear in all media formats.

loud speaker very bad quality. It sounds horrible and quite low. Even the ringtone is horrible.

After studying a bit the issue, the problem apears to be software, but there is no settings for sound, no dolby, no nothing. Only some basic on/off type settings.
Realy waiting for some customs roms (a RR or a CM) .. PLEASE

I used the speakerphone for the first time last night. Actually pretty good. Nice and loud, and the other person could easily hear me. Overall pretty good - which is lucky seeing the gemini could get more speakerphone use that most phones

Clear yes, but could've been louder. There have been moments when me and my friends were sharing youtube videos and their samsung phones (note 8, and s10 but that is evidently) were noticeably louder.
It depends also which rom do you use. China is louder.

Great speaker nothing special though . it is bottom firing though so two hand landscape ya gotta watch where you put your hand. sounds good though .
