My current baseband is G950USQS2BRB1
Original carrier is Verizon

pretty sure you need comsey odin and same current firmware
be aware just cause you flash unlocked firmware your device is no sim unlocked

What country firmware is in my phone? Is there a list somewhere...?

You can flash any rom you like as long as it is for your version of phone : n910c rom only for n910C!!! and n910F only for n910F!!! etc
Check your versionand you can find the rom you are looking for on XDA...just search the threads. N910C is exynoss version and N910F is Snapdragon!

Yes. Safest way is to flash it via ODIN. Otherwise you might have the wrong bootloader on you're device. Ran into some trouble when trying to flash it with twrp.

anyone please help me chose boot loader, modem, PDA and csc for my phone.
I saw the rom listed as XAA and no carrier brand. Is this the unlocked snap dragon GS8? Anyone know? I see that there were 3 samsung phones listed G950W - canadian, G950U - current carrier phones and a G950U1.
I just bought the unlocked USA variant today and yes the G950U1 is the S8 unlocked.

I cant connect to my carrier
I get final imei certi fail. With stock room.
But conect to carrier With the combination rom.
