How do I get ascending ring tone? Is there a setting or a mod for it? I'm rooted.

Edit contact and set another ringtone in "edit" window.
Does someone know how to change the volume for incomming SMS messages?
Is it the same as the sound volume for the ringtone or the system volume?

When i set custom ringtone it does not sound while ringing.
But if i set phone's ringtone, it works.
How can i use custom ringtone.
