Hi there,
After update to A 7.0 my ZC520TL got some issues like infinite autofocus (so no photos) or poor battery life.
I decided to do downgrade, everything was fine but imei was incorrect, same as serial number changed to 111111.
There was no signal issue in central areas of the city, so i flashed it back to official rom 7.0.
I fixed imei problem by maui Maui META ver 9.1724.25.00 but i dont know how to write serial number from 111111 to my original serial number, i also looked other threads but no success.
Is there any way to do it?
I wanted to put everything stock and send phone to asus service for 6.0 downgrade or just sell this phone and get something with android with no issues like poor battery or not working camera after official update.

Sorry for my bad english..
Based upon claims your IMEI is fake, either the original IMEI was cloned and subsequently discovered, or the phone is counterfeit. I'd see about getting your money back, because Samsung won't touch it, and discussing methods to change the IMEI is forbidden here.

once more,,what it's IMEI CERTI : Fail ????
Don't worry about the IMEI Cert. Mine says "N/A" yet the phone functions normally.
As to the IMEI itself, when you enter *#06# into the dialer, what is the result? Do you get a number, a number starting with 049, or a null response? If a number, does that match the number in the battery compartment?
Any other result than a number matching the number in the battery compartment requires the phone be serviced, which may not be cheap, assuming Samsung even touches the phone.
Bluetooth and WiFi may work again if you flash the firmware for your device through Odin. But this phone will never make calls until the IMEI issue is resolved, if it can be resolved.

I don't think to make IMEI match anymore,,i just wanna my BT and Wifi work again.
i was flash firmware hundred of time,,change modem too,,but nothing happen
disassembly and check hardware was too but nothing happen

Send the device to Samsung for service. Especially if repeatedly flashing the firmware didn't fix the WiFi and Bluetooth. Be prepared to pay for the privilege.
Hello guys
my problem started when I tried to upgrade from 4.4.2 (KitKat) to 5.0.1 (lollipop), I tried first to upgrade using Kies but I just didn't work it recognized my phone and downloaded the firmware but couldn't install, so I went to the other option "odin" I flashed the firmware for my region for my phone yet when it turned on I had a very week signal.
when I tried going back to kitkat I had no service at all and lost my IMEI and baseband, then I tried different regions of lollipop and kitkat, but still nothing, and I thought I lost my IMEI and that I need to write it manually using this box (I don't remember its name) until yesterday when I flashed a Turkish kitkat which restored my IMEI and baseband but still no service, then I backed up my efs folder and went on trying every modem in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192025
I tried everyone of them some gave me "no service" others "emergency calls only" and a third group didn't even recognize the sim card however all of them changed my IMEI to either NULL or the fake IMEI.
now I tried to restore my esf folder but it didn't work, so I thought to re-flash the Turkish firmware (which retrieved my IMEI and serial) but also didn't work and now I still have a fake IMEI which is weird because it worked before.
I tried every method every solution and nothing worked
I even contacted Samsung who told me that it cannot be fixed in Europe cause it is an international model and has to be fixed from where it was bought (Jordan)
and now um feeling really hopeless
please help

Hi guys I have a problem on my samsung a510f. the phone works properly it's just a bit of time has a problem! after a call placed loses the signal and says (not registered on the network) are forced to restart or put into airplane mode, but the next phone call the problem persists, I tried them all even with changing imei imei changer because I thought that the My iMEI was corrupt but nothing! I did downgrade from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1 but no, I put costom rom but the problem remains, can anyone help me? thanks
I forgot all this has started to happen when the phone was still the original was missing from the root I now had to do to change rom
guys no one can help me?
dont touch the IMEI stuff, you usually either make a backup of it or just stay away from it.
Look what baseband you have, and what bootloader, chances are sometimes they fail to flash, especially after a custom intervention.
I have only tried to change imei thought it was corrupt ... baseband and bootloader are fine....This problem I had since before I performed the root
alright I am coming closer to fixing my lost signal (only phone signal) on the official stock rom.
I figured out that my IMEI number has been set to 0 and searched this forum for a answer and found one here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/steps-how-to-recover-bad-imei-t3171452
even though it counts not only for IMEI number/service but also WI-FI I am scared that I'll screw up my WI-FI but fix my service signal.
and then the next problem struck me, ADB doesn't detect my Android device.
I am gonna update my phone to the latest Android update and see if something happens
Hi Guys,
This is my first post here and also I am fairly new to android, so I apologize in advance if I violate a forum rule or ask an obvious silly question. Anyway,I Recently, I received a Samsung A5 2016 Dual Sim from my friend which did not boot up. Apparently he had installed an app which caused this situation. Then he had tried to install multiple firmwares with Odin on it without success. Anyway, I received the phone and first strange thing that I found was that product name in download mode was SM-A5108 which was different from A510FD which was on the phones box. This probably was the main reason behind not being able to flash any A510FD firmware on phone. So I flashed a A5108 firmware on it booted up to android. But there was 4 issues there:
1- No baseband version was available.
2- No IMEI information for either of sim card slots and of course not detecting any of sim cards.
3- Very sensible lag and delay on loading apps and working with menus.
4- Also A5108 is apparently available for china region so menu was Chinese and other region specific apps was on it.
I found out the original firmware on it was A510FD so searched a little bit and found out it is possible to restore a backup from A510FD. I downloaded a backup file from internet and restored it using TWRP (Data, System, Boot). After restore, phone booted up with A510FD but once again with null IMEI and also lagging. Right now baseband version is available and device model on about section is A510FD. I know all radio related information is on EFS but I have no EFS backup right now and restoring EFS is not an option. Is there any way to fix IMEI issue now?
I can provide exact build number and any other information about phone and firmwares that I used in case it is required for better troubleshooting.
check you phone model by imei or serial from the box or from back of the phone, if someone messed up that phone is hard to be sure what model is

I forgot to mention there is no IMEI on phone's box or phone itself. But phone's model (A510FD)is printed on box. Also battery is non-removable so not able to check inside of phone for IMEI.
If there is no other option you could remove the back glass panel to see the IMEI number there is a sticker underneath it i replaced the screen of mine and i saw this sticker. You need to be carefull taking off the panel tho cuz you coul rip off the sticker if you're not careful.
Thank you for responding. Okay, Let's suppose I found out IMEI by opening phone's back panel. What is the next step? How could I use these information to recover IMEI to phone? Is there any chance that IMEI information is at EFS partition but due to wrong firmware upgrade it is not working?
