As I always say, for noobs, but not kids
A HUGE thanks to sammobiles for leaking these ROM's, whatever some gobs say don't matter, they have been doing splendid job for the last three months, from the very first ICS leak. All I know is, no sammobile, no ICS leak, you don't need to be developer for this, but just common sense.
Never said this, but should've, a lot earlier.
• How did I install? Normal Odin (Desktop) way. PDA, Modem and CSC, skipped the App boot. It will definitely Wipe your device. In previous occasions I was flashing with Mobile Odin but the Modem and CSC always got messed up at the end.
Q- How to restore Nandroid backup taken with a kernel but not CF?
A-
Simple. Flash that kernel (Siyah for example) in Recovery (Hope you're already rooted with CF LPH kernel) >> DO NOT reboot system, but reboot in recovery >> You'll have Siyah recovery now, simply Advanced restore Data, wait till it restores >> Again, DO NOT reboot device >> Power it off >> Go to Download Mode and connect the device with Odin in PC >> Flash the CF LPH kernel >> DONE.

Well maybe I did it the hard way, cause I am a noob, you know a better method? Please do that and ignore whatever I've said.
• Chainfire root for LPH:

• Mod JazzK battery mod from kitchen:
http://ifile.it/lp9sdqt
Previous leak was XXLPB, impressions were at,
• http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1477672&highlight=my+first+impressions
• As usual good phone calls, in call volume is loud enough both in earpiece and speaker. NR is present.
• Vibration intensity is same strong as before.
• Same incoming call UI. Answer/Reject sliders don't work! I hate it.
• 480x800 wallpapers are working properly on both homescreen and lockscreen.
• Market is fine. No problem in downloading.
• WiFi, 3G/H+, Bluetooth all working. WiFi signal remains with the upload/download icons.
• FM Radio works.
• Network mode is present. Strong signal in 2G as it should.
• Swype is same version, Beta 3.26.92. The Swyping color is changed to Orange, lol. The default keyboard is QWERTY now, not QWERTZ.
• GPS lock is fine both in GMaps and GPS Status.

• Camera and Video Recording is working as it always did.
• 1080P FLV video played damn smoothly with Stock player. Good.
• Same goes for HD YouTube videos.
• Same stock email app UI, it's nice.
• Browser (Stock) is buttery smooth and a pleasure. Flash plug-in works.
• The 3D kinda feel in TW launcher remains. But still no loop support for homescreen and app drawer, weird.
• Annoying ICS lock screen remains
• I have to say that the scrolling effect is completely different than previous leaks, the elasticity is present but it has been decreased hugely which makes the scrolling much faster. You don't have to scroll five, six times anymore to go down to the end of a big web page.
Not same as GB, but close.
• Face Unlock works . I am not sure but I think there is a new option added called 'Automatically Lock' if you select Face unlock or Pattern as lock method.
• Deep sleep works absolutely fine. On stock kernel atm.
• MHL/HDMI works, with Audio. Thanks to Spy0rs for informing.
• Connection with my desktop worked at first try.
• Call logs don't have compact view. Weird. As soon as you call a different number the previous dialed number shows as a different entry and doesn't count in in the same number group. Bad for a heavy callers like me.
Smart input does work however (or whatever it is called).
• Chrome Beta browser freezes after opening.
***Major CONS I've found so far and should be fixed***
► In Stock browser, Calender and some apps only the default font is applicable. Any other font other than the default won't take effect.
► While editing something in the stock browser cursor selection is weird. Hence it's almost impossible to edit any article/paragraph.
► Vibration and sound should work together without the help any third party app.
► Call logs don't categorise numbers in to compact mode. A big drawback imo.
► While refreshing email in stock email app it doesn't show any sort of notification or pop up saying refreshing or anything, so it's hard to understand if the emails are properly refreshing or not. It was there in GB, should be included here too.
► Answer/Reject incoming call icons won't slide, really? That's disgusting.

••• So far so good, touch screen responsiveness is at par with LPB, I didn't notice any decreased response like sammobile mentioned. Scrolling as I said is totally different from previous leaks. Looking all good till now. Better than LPB, but marginally. •••
*** Definitely a daily usable ROM ***
•• Video ••
As I always request please come and post your feedback on this ROM if you are already flashed and using it, both Cons and Pros. Please comment if you have downloaded form sammobile, others downloaded from any other place please don't comment.
Thank you.
Regards.

@ithehappy Check PM.
Good summary.
If only it kept the stock ICS look. I know this horse has been beaten to hell and back, but all that effort/time/money to make something that, in my opinion, looks like crap.
Funny enough LPB is probably the most stable ROM I've used since the official GB ROMs from Samsung...
And before someone says theme, no, it's just not the same as CM9 and you're sure to find it's like lipstick on a pig at some point (incoming call, unlock screen, etc)
Anyway, I'll probably flash it, lol. I love the ICS apps and features enough to overlook the appearance.
Ty @ithehappy this is really much appreciated and very fast two top man....
I agree, your reviews help a lot. I flash every leak but it helps to see issues that I may not notice right away and it gives me an idea of what to expect.

My Swype keyboard is QWERTY, but still QWERTZ Samsung keyboard here (I had previously LPB ROM).
What is the correct CSC file to get the QWERTY keyboard? Y tried the *#272*IMEI# "trick", but I only get Sweden config choice
What about camera shutter speed?

In first place thanks for your review, it's great.
Details like wallpapers and scrolling made me happy about Trebuchet well i don't really like me so much, i prefer Nova for the moment.
Mmm the issue with the call logs, i can live with that
Overclocking

there is no app to overclock, stock kernel doesn't support oc, you have to wait for kernel sources and then custom kernel.
Thanks for doing this service OP, I was not going to make a move on this until I saw this thread, you claim it is a daily use ROM, so I am going to flash based on that, you better be right else I'll be looking for you, haha, just kidding
I have a question though, a no wipe version has been posted, but I have never seen you mention if you do a no wipe upgrade from a Gingerbread ROM or if you factory reset after the upgrade or anything like that, can you please clarify this for me???

Notes
When upgrading between CM versions, you still need to flash the gapps module after upgrading as /system is wiped.
Notes about updating to latest stock FW before flashing custom ROMs
Screenshot is Vol-Down + Home in CM
The ROM comes with a Superuser app. You don't need to install another one.
When installing themes which appear to be improperly compiled, apply the default system theme and reboot and try again.

4.3 should have this new feature called app ops? Can't find it in the settings. Also reporting that both back amd front camera work, but theres some issue with the hdr option. Enabling hdr caused camera to not connect, worked after reboot.

App ops is different than privacy guard.
Edit: I mean these settings:

Had them on my zte blade 3 4.3rom, it was nice to be able to disable certain app behaviors.

Hi. I think cm10.2 should have the display settings from cm10.1.3 such as screen temperature and mode etc that 2 really nice. And please add a hot - plugging feature to the kernel, saves loads of battery!

Hi,
yeah i agree, the only thing missing for me is the screen calibration feature! would be awesome if you could include that arco!
Thanks
// just an addition. i am half way through the day and i had to observe some massive battery drain issues. usually by this time i would have 75% battery left, but since cm10.2 its already down to 52%. better battery stats doesnt give me much, seems like the rom is just.. consuming a lot more energy.
i'll monitor the stats further but i wanted to ask, does anybody else face this problem?

No battery drain and no other problems with cm10.2
The IR also works very well.
So far, so good..
Well done Sir Arco!! THX
Reporting that FM radio also works with Spirit FM
Headphones must be plugged in as it functions as an antenna.
Settings in Spirit FM:
BAND - World 200khz (This might not be the same for you)
AUDIO - METHOD MODE (DigitalXL/ONE/S)
UI - RDS: (ON)
AF - AF MODE: RDS+Region
DEBUG - FM CHIP: (QC V4L HTC) & Motorola FW Load: (HCI)
The rest is default.
Not sure whether it's supposed to be so but tiles/toggles in notification drawer are not perfectly aligned as it used be in CM 10.1.X, so if you decide to have 6 toggles/tiles you end up seeing 5 full toggles/tiles and one half of the sixth one
Attached please find examples of 6 and 5 toggles - in both situation it does not look good.

I find this very annoying too, but I think it's a general cm10.2 "problem". I would want it to scale up or down to fit either 5 or 6 toggles, not 5.5.

I think you're supposed to swype on it, like you do on Samsung stock rom.

Yes of course but in cm10.1 with the older icons they align perfectly as 6 toggles showing fully, but in cm10.2 with the new icons they don't align right, as shown in the screenshots.
With older icons:
- So if you set it to 5, you see 5...
- Set it to 6+, it shows 5.5 which also indicates to the user that they can swype to find more toggles?
- If you set it to 6+ and it only showed 5, you wouldn't know you could swype to find the extra toggles so therefore, the user may think that it just doesn't work.
- Scaling would look horrible imo, imagine if you had 10? all scaled to fit across the screen?
I think it's fine the way it is?

Wrong. You see 5 and an empty space for the 0,5 toggle which is not there (see print screen), since you have chosen to have 5 toggles. Your arguments do not hold ground since the user knows how many toggles he/she has enabled and leaving half toggle at the end of 5 toggles just looks incomplete no matter what follows .
Lets say that if someone with your reasoning would apply this same toggle layout to how photo gallery layout looks, it would mean that when viewing a picture in full screen we would see one full picture and half of the next picture .
The point I am making is that notification toggles should have option to have certain amount of toggles whose layout is perfect with no stretching, no half-ass toggles and so on. I don't need 10 toggles to be squeezed into one line, I am fine with 5, but please let it be aligned :fingers-crossed:.
Error on change user info.
When I try to change and click on picture to change, it open and close.

So you removed some tiles for your screenshots? By default, I get the attached standard tile layout.
Fair enough though.... Hope they sort it out for you...
I like it left aligned as it shows there is more toggles to the right. Whether 5, 5.5 or 6, you still have to swype to get to the 6th+ tile.
Anyway, good luck!

Here is a list of changes that have been included in the 30B Marshmallow update for our D855's!
Battery optimization
Battery optimization has been added to reduce battery consumption. The battery will now be optimized automatically when your phone or apps are not in use for a certain period of time. Battery optimization will stop when you use your phone or apps again.
Note: Alarms may not sound, and notifications from apps that are not updated to the latest OS version may not be received during battery optimization. To ensure notifications are received from certain apps, go to Settings > General > Battery & power saving > Battery usage > Ignore optimizations.
Knock Code Settings
Knock Code is to be updated to offer a better experience for the latest OS. You must now have at least 6 taps and use 3 different quarters in your knock code. To unlock the screen, the knock code for the current user can only be used.
Marshmallow:
App Permissions
App permissions have been changed. You can allow or deny permissions for an app to access certain features from other apps. After you install an app and open it, pop-ups may show and you may be asked to give permissions to an app for certain features. You must give permissions to use the app. You can decide whether or not to give permissions. Select Don't ask again to not be asked twice when you decide not to give permissions. You can change these permissions later in Settings > General > Apps > Permissions.
Direct Share
Direct Share has been added. Before, you chose an app to share to, and then a person. Now, frequently shared combinations of apps and people will be recommended. When you select Share via, you can receive up to 8 recommendations for which app and contact to share with.
Silent Mode
Silent mode has been added to the sound profile. You can silence the phone in the notification panel or in the volume panel that shows when you press the Volume keys. You can also silence the phone in Settings > Sound & notification. Before, you had to use Interruptions to silence the phone. Now, it can be done with just one or two taps.
Interruptions has been renamed to Do not disturb.
With this, you can schedule downtimes to not be disturbed by notifications from some or all apps. Alarms will sound or vibrate when Do not disturb is set to Priority only. Alarms will be silenced when Do not disturb is set to Total silence.
LG UX Upgrade
Meet the new LG UX. The design of items such as app icons and the font style have been changed. The Lock screen shortcut must be reset after the software upgrade. Text Link has been removed. There are also various new app features.
Auto-Brightness
Auto-brightness has been changed. The screen will be brighter when you are in a bright place and darker when you are in dark place. The brightness slider can now be seen adjusting automatically depending on the ambient light when you use Auto-brightness.
Allow Peeking
Allow peeking has been added to Settings so that you can now see notifications at the top of the screen and have none of them block the screen. You can allow peeking in Settings > General > Apps > (Select installed apps)
Google Settings
You can manage Google apps and services more easily. Google settings app is now in Settings > General > Google.
Memory Settings
Memory settings have been added to Settings > General > Memory to be easily accessible. You can now see the hourly memory usage per app.
Apps settings
The screen for Apps settings has been simplified. Before, there were tabs for disabled apps, running apps, apps on the SD card, and downloaded apps. Now, you can see all the apps in a simple screen. You can include or exclude the system apps through the menu in the top right corner of this screen.
QMemo+ renamed with Slice added
QMemo+ in notification panel has been renamed to Capture+. Also, Slice has been added to Capture+. You can crop your memos in four different ways.
QMemo+ features improved
QMemo+ features have been improved to give you more control over your memos. You can do more than just write. Lasso a part of your memo to move, delete, or rotate it. Drag to-do items to rearrange them. Record your voice while you write or draw at the same time. You also have more control over your memos. Import or export your memos in the PDF format. Lock your memos with Content lock.
Interval shot added
Interval shot has been added. Before, you take a shot by gesture. Now, you can take 4 selfies in a row with the front camera, touch and hold Shutter button or make a fist twice.
Ringtone ID added
Ringtone ID has been added. You can hear incoming calls with ringtones composed automatically from their phone number. Go to the Sound settings and select who to compose ringtones for. In Contacts, you can preview the ringtone ID of any contact. For numbers with no ringtone ID, the ringtone in use will sound.
Event pocket added
Event pocket has been added. You can easily add events to your calendar. Drag images, text, memos, tasks, and locations from Event pocket onto your calendar. You can even add items from Facebook.
Floating button added
A floating button has been added to apps such as Email, Messaging, and Calendar. You can tap the floating button located at the bottom of an app to use the main feature of the app. The floating button can also be moved to wherever you want.

dude we already have v30B and that's stock LG firmware with UX4.0 and marshmallow (same as LG G4) for our g3.
Better than so much Lollipop.. smoother and less lag
Here's a video showing all the new features brought to the G3 with this android marshmallow update.
Here is a list of new features on LG G3's stock android 6.0 marshmallow rom. Rom version is v30B Global.
Features list (non exhaustible):
- Battery optimization
- Lockscreen hula hoop
- Knock Code Settings
- App Permission
- Direct Share
- Silent Mode
- Interruptions has been renamed to Do not disturb.
- LG UX Upgrade
- Auto-Brightness
- Allow Peeking
- Google Settings
- Memory Settings
- Apps settings
- QMemo+ renamed with Slice added
- Camera
- Ringtone ID added
- Event pocket added
- Power menu
- Lock screen notifs
@johnnzey maybe you can add this to OP I think it will help a lot of people
Not the best option @docksid3, but what i did was restored my backup of previous LP ROM, copied my SIM contacts to my google account then went back and reflashed MM, SIM contacts are now showing as part of my google contacts.
Not the perfect solution but at least they are there in MM now.
Cheers
---------- Post added at 06:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:11 PM ----------
Edit: Reflashed stock 30B using LG Flash Tool, normal flash means I have now lost root but sim contacts now show properly.
Time to go back to rooted so must be something to do with the repacked boot or root that is stoppng them from showing as sim contacts.
Be aware. My phone got almost SOD. Woked up after a while. I was browsing Facebook and screen after screen got dark I wasn't able to woke it up almost 10min. I was ready to pull out battery, but after desperate power button press it woked up. Another annoying thing is WiFi disconnect. I'm using Whatsapp on web. A lot I see I'm unable to connect to My phone.
Edit: Potato e chip to LG for performance boost. I haven't seen so fast ROM. Performance is great.

VoLTE WORKS 4pda people tested it
Hmm.. Pretty interesting . Looks like have to test it . will test tomorrow
Looks really nice. as soon as it get downloaded .. wil test it .. thanks bruh?
did a lot of work here. bootanimation was not easy to port. But overall it is beautiful and works great.
I don't recommend to use Live Beach wallpaper because our device can't handle it properly. Maybe needs a better port or it just missing something. Tested that on various devices like samsung galaxy a3 or a5 both 2017 and on a5 it works better faster. Huawei p10 lite not work great.

i think no serious bugs. Only visual things somethere can be addressed like somethere text is black not white. But it needs more people to test it and find these bugs. So for now i'm happy with results
Apart from the dark fonts on dark background, the ROM is very nice and smooth... Magisk works great, Quasar-Atmox audio mod with viperfx is compatible..
Only one thing, I dont know if it is an issue, the battery was fully drained from 80% to 20% in about an hour, when I was restoring my apps and configuring the phone..
I'm charging it now and see how it goes..
I'll report back with battery backup tomorrow...
Boot animation is not right showed.

I think hardcoded bootanimation doesn't work on lower than 7.1 or 7.0 version of Android
i will add some attention warning for users lower than 7.0 to don't try this bootanimation to flash.
thanks for information.

writing just to inform you. AFter installation turn off location, BOTH SIM card internet and WIFI + BLUETOOTH SCANNING - they are all culprit of that. Or check what's draining a battery from sys settings

This ROM is not Android GO
firmware will have a prefix (-GO-) from this day, so as not to be confused with our foreign colleagues.
@hussein1 : What about Bluetooth vs. WI-FI download speed issue (download speed very slow when bluetooth connected).. Is it still there, Please?

New Build is up:good:
Changes:
11/10/2018
1) Return of the access point
I would rather see just one Pixel Experience, but unfortunatly LuizH007's (@SanicM2) developement is not as advanced as Waiser's (I'm not talking about capability, I mean bugs in the ROM). Of course, maybe LuizH007 doesn't have the same time to dedicate anymore.
Actually, there are three Pixel Experience ROMs, but Waiser's and LuizH007's ROMs have the same goal. So, it would be great to see both working together instead of this separated developments.
By the way, Waiser's version is the less buggy one.
Furthermore, thank you @hussein1 for opening a new thread about Pixel Experience GO.

I am a professional web developer if you want to build an official go rom website feel free to contact me brother...love from INDIA..
so, any thoughts, comments, pro and cons?
I'm using this build for a long time day by day, not the "original", but I think it's better. The updates come faster, always fixing any small issue. And overall feels a bit faster than the other PE release. And I don't need a lot of customisation like in the PE Extended or other roms, so I'm happy with this build and stay with this
But I don't want to say which version you are using, test it and choose.
OK, I downloaded the rom in OP post, which seem to NOT be the last version.
9/11/18 version in the op.
As soon as I installed the rom, in first boot(no problems by the way, 4 minutes to boot)
a ''new update available'' pops up, suggesting to download.
Another 1.05 Gb to download and start over
WHY?

In your thread, people talk about:
1. Instable autofocus (or refocus - it seems to had been solved reinstalling the GCam);
2. VoLTE not working;
3. Charging LED not working;
4. Automatic brightness always high;
5. Cast Screen not working;
6. Settings app crashes after opening IMEI menu;
7. It's no possible to set SIM 2 in mobile data;
8. Saturated colorson some screens;
9. Only one flashlight working;
10. Wi-fi turns off after DOZE activation.
I haven't installed your ROM because of this complainments, afterall, all of this works great in Waiser's build. Nonetheless, I apreciate your work too.

Waiser's build update daily, weekly. Fix bug very fast. When I used your build, I had waited one month to fix led notification. I dont like that. By the way, thanks for your work.
Am I the only one experiencing very slow fingerprint unlock? It takes a lot for my device to wake from sleep, actually also double tap to wake is slow :/
Also Pixel live wallpapers are very laggy
