If I put a countdown timer and the watch screen goes off, the alarm doesn't start at the end of the countdown. Any guess why? Only when I open the screen the alarm begins...
This is with the LG watch style and latest oreo update...
Same issue here with Huawei Watch 2. Some time it's delayd - tens seconds to few (2?) minutes.
Exact same issue with the LG Watch Style. Uh

I observe the following weird (and annoying) bug in the timer function, which is a part of the standard Clock application.
When the requested time is up, the timer makes the expected signal and displays the dialog window with "Dismiss" button. I hit "Dismiss" and it shuts up, as it should. However, if I leave the phone alone after that, after a while the timer signal will activate again for no apparent reason.
I haven't tested it thoroughly yet, so I don't know all details that affect the reproducibility the problem. The steps that reliably reproduce the issue are as follows:
1) Start the countdown and let the phone go to sleep (lock itself)
2) When timer sets off, the phone wakes up and displays the "Dismiss" dialog on top of the lockscreen. Hit the "Dismiss" button on the lockscreen, but don't unlock the phone. Just let it go to sleep again.
3) After a while the timer will set off again for no reason
It appears that the spurious activation of the timer signal is tied to some specific time period measured from the moment the countdown was originally started. In my case it is about 50 minutes. If I set the timer to 40 minutes, dismiss it when it signals, then I'll get another spurious timer signal about 10 minutes later. If I set the timer to 5 minutes, dismiss it when it signals, then I'll get another spurious timer signal about 45 minutes later.
If after the first signal I unlock the phone and go to the timer settings (just to check that the timer is not running again somehow), the second timer signal never occurs.
I'm wondering whether this is Android bug or HTC Sense bug, i.e. what are the chances it is fixed in Android 2.3...
I m coming from a Honor 6 (L02)(android 5.1.1) where the phone powered OFF for night was able to restart and give wake up alarm, if alarm was set on.
I realized One Plus 2 is not doing this?!
Is there a way we can get this feature working, i hope this cant be only possible on a Honor 6 or a HTC M7...
Since mwd69, huawei watch, when alarm goes off and is dismissed, watch stops going into ambient mode.
100% reproducible. Have to restart to fix it.
Thanks. I experienced it today but I didn't connect alarm with the issue. But you're right, I used alarm before.
I'd like ti buy this phone for my wife. I wonder if it supports alarm when in "off" mode. My Honor 9 turns itself on when scheduled and the alarm rings. Can the Mi A1 do the same? I googled a bit but couldn't find a definitive answer...
Thanks a lot!
No. I was late once because the alarm didn't ring when switched off.
This is one feature lost with Oreo update, in Nougat there was a specific item in "Settings" to power on/off the device at given date/time (all chinese phones have that option), you so could turn on the device 5 minutes before the alarm.
Please use the "Feedback" app to claim this feature back (as I've done every Oreo update)
Hello. Recently I got the Lenovo Watch 9 and I have a small issue here.
The clock runs fine and I had no problems setting it up. Now though the clock randomly vibrates 3 times and the second hand jumps to the 21 seconds mark (so about 4 o'clock).
On this mark, it stays until the real time clock catches up and then it moves on again. This happens every few minutes, so it's kind of annoying for me.
I don't get any messages, calls or similar on my phone (there are no notifications). No alarms set.
Anyone got an idea why that happens?
I have the same issue. But I think it vibrates 4 times in my case. Did you find out anything? It does it for sometime and then it stops. But I cannot figure out the pattern or why it happens.
Same
Mine does the same thing, 4 vibrations and the second hand jumps on 20s and waits there
Same a bit, my watch vibrates 3 times but the clock hands still stay the same.
