[Rom]Cyanogenmod 14 (nougat) Alpha Explay fresh/clones

The real Android N for our device.
This test assembly! Laid out for reference only!
It takes time to appear less stable assembly.
Bug
the major:
Camera (recover in the next build.)
Wi-Fi access (get better in the next build.)
Secondary:
It does not work dialer (when trying to call USSD command or number - reboot) (recover in the next build.)
Not working Bluetooth (all time failure, cyclical)
No flashlight (due to camera)
No radio (to recover the trail. assemblies)
Mostly nedoperevod (recover in the trail. assemblies)
How to
Installation is carried out through TWRP 3.0+ or through PhilZ Touch Recovery, over 5 BETA (for the first installation, not necessarily to follow)
1) Download the firmware, put it in the root directory of the cd-cards.
2) Turn your smartphone into recovery mode and do the wipes are: Dalvik / ART Cache, System, Cache, Data.
3) Go to "Setting" and select the firmware start the installation.
4) After successful installation, go back to "Setting" and set Gapps. It is necessary to work and play market services google

Well I flashed it IMEI is working but data not.
Plz notify us if there is a new build so I test it.

No you can not.
Here a special kernel, which is not enough at whom there

i have try to fix some bugs, but no luck yet, the only thing i fix was the messaging apk replacing for Google messaging apk.
I also try to port the rom to wiko base, but also no luck, and i have try to root but every time i root the device reboots and stay at boot loop.
Someone can help, the things i have try to fix was 3G, GPS and root access.

Can't install any third party apks on CM 14.1 in Moto G4 Plus

I flashed the CM 14.1 rom on my moto g4 plus. It works fine and a awesome rom. But I not able to install any third party application. Apps only install through play store. How can I fix it..

According to me: You can face 2 possible errors..
1 - for first: Enable Unknown Sources from Settings > Security...
2- if you are facing "Package Parsing errors" that version is not capable with Android 7.1 because on some apps they provide different app version...

What errors you are getting... Also post screenshot of error..

Im on cm 14.1 im not facing any problems regarding app installation... Make sure your unknowing sources enabled in app setting and try using 7.1 compatible apk file... If you still facing problem then reflash latest cm build

No need to worry...
That means the version of app you are installing is not supported on CM14.1 or any other 7.1 ROMs...
You may got those apps from older Android version...
Now you just need to backup apps installed from play store, on next installation or wipe it will get installed without any errors....

For those who wants to try out the new MIUI 9 Beta/Alpha roms.
These are Chinese rom. so there will be no Gapps and Google services. some Chinese bloatware installed.
if you want the gapps, flash opengapps pico via TWRP.

Installation:
1. after flashing from Fastboot you'll have to install TWRP recovery again.
2. before booting into rom, flash SuperSU zip from TWRP (Download from official super su site) and reboot.

4. go to recovery and flash gapps.
5. reboot.

Can someone please extract the official miui 9 themes and post them here?

Beta 9 flashed fine, su fine, viper4audio fine, tried flash xposed-xposedSDK24 by PurifyOS (don't work but it's optionally for me)
BUT i got bigger problem with google play - first tried package that worked on MIUI 8 (don't work), then installed OpenGappsPico (don't work too), tried with this google installer apk shared in first post but i cant install play services - system says "can't downgrade[...]"
System works stable but I faced issues with google apps - many FC's I got, then I switched off FC's in dev settings.
Google play issues may be caused becouse i flashed rom with MiFlash 'save user data' chosen option.
I'll watch if clean install 'll help but don't have free time now.

you can't keep data while coming from MIUI8. it will cause issues.

in the next update, I'll add full OTA zip links so that you guys can flash without losing data. and I think I'm gonna keep updating the thread even after official release, cause sometime MIUI team pushes updates to Beta testers first.

Hey man !
I hat this as well ... But I didnt flash any gapps. Miui recovered all my gapps after booting up ! I just uninstall ALL google related stuff via the "system apps" in the settings menu. After this I could install the google installer (see op !) and all went fine

Anyone tried to install custom miui theme ? I got "402" issue. I read I need an theme developer account. Previous used MIUI 8 global beta and all themes worked fine.

This zip will remove default listed apps
Prerequisite
Gapps must be installed in order to make Google Dialer work properly.
Precaution
Please try to flash zip after first boot otherwise you may not get signals. This package has tested on all Oreo roms.

UPI apps not working on rooted Xiaomi Mi A1

Hi everyone,
I am on Lineage OS 16.0 on my rooted Xiaomi Mi A1 since 2018. Since the last few months, none of the UPI apps in India (such as Gpay, Phonepe or Bhim) are working. Gpay just wont open up, BHIM will fail during the sms verification, etc. Basically UPI does not work. I have Magisk Manager and have enabled Magisk Hide for the mentioned UPI apps. They were working fine all this while since 2018 but all of a sudden not working since last 3 months or so. Please help as to what the issue maybe and how I can resolve this. Appreciate the replies. Regards.

you have to enable magisk hide in Magisk Manager Settings then goto to magisk hide and enable it for UPI app and GooglePlayServices then open Magisk Manager settings and click on Hide Magisk Manager it shows a poup for asking app name default it is just Manager you can change it to anything u want and click ok it removes Magisk Manager and create another Magisk Manager app with name that u enter. i think then you can use UPI Apps. i'm using PhonePe app on two different phones "MiA1" and "Galaxy J2" and i'm on LOS17.1 rom on MiA1

you have to check saftynet in Magisk Manager if it fails then you have to solve it first and i think its only solved by reflashing the Rom
