I bought a 2nd hand car a month ago and it had one of these in it installed by the previous owner about 6 months previously.

It worked for us for about 3 days and then stopped booting up. The after sales support is shocking, they provide no assistance and don't respond to emails. The online documents are generic to cover all the different models they sell.
The crazy thing is this model has no reset control. Most of these types of devices have a pin hole to perform a hard restet. This model has nothing.
I've looked for help across the web to no avail and plenty people complaining about the lack of support.
Anyone got one of these and know how to reset it?

Hi Folks, Firstly I know I have been very stupid. Please don't make me feel worse than I already do. I have read through this board and after feeling like I was about to give in trying to fix my Chinese GPS I have a bit of hope. I bought the unit as working from ebay and decided (stupidly) to flash Mio Pocket after a guy on a car forum sung its praises. I initially meant to run from the sd to test but I accidentally clicked install and it did its thing then froze on reboot. After rebooting it was just stuck on the screen saying Welcome to Navigation. I have measured my screen, it seems to be 6.5" measured diagonally
I found a chinese site and have tried all the firmware on there, it all seems to restore my original GPS side of the software but the screen is the wrong resolution and too low on the screen. I can just about calibrate it by poking my nail down the bezel for the lower calibration points but then when I select the navigation source selection screen I cant see the files as they are off to the left (off screen) I tried using the remote to no avail. I have also tried the 117_nav_en.exe floating around on the internet which again seems to be the right software but the wrong resolution. My problem is that I bought the unit off ebay and I don't know the brand or model number to contact support. Neither does the seller unfortunately (it was used)
The unit is for a Skoda / VW it has GPS, BT, TV Tuner, 2 x sd slots (one for nav one for media) and an iphone input on the front. It has the car door open indicator pictures etc and the non ce side of things is still working fine.
I am reasonably confident that the firmware I have tried so far is for bigger screens than my 6.5" and hopefully if I can find a firmware version for this size I should be ok.

Hey everyone I recently bought double dine pure Android head unit about 2 weeks ago, it has version 4.2 and the guy off ebay I ordered it from sent me the upgrade files to 4.4.4 kitkat and during the update it reset itself only to come back showing a pure white screen that fades into a bunch of colorful vertical lines. I have searched everywhere on this site trying to unbrick it or get into recovery mode but I notice that everyone has knobs that you push and all my has is just 6 bottom buttons, The brand is as it says on the paperwork is Tocado or Aback and I cant find the specific model number on the device but the paperwork says it could be TC610, TH8681-TH8387, or H8686 so as you can see im lost any help would grealty appreciated they said I could pay $40 to send it back and have them repair it or reinstiall the firmware I can if needed but its such a hassle, Here is some pics to hopefully help its just stuck there and its not the screen being broken its something in the firmware. Hi guys, first time here as have searched and found no joy to this problem.
My son has an Xtrons PF71OLOS-S fitted to his Vauxhall Astra.
It has been magnificent for last two years and now developed an intermittent fault where the touch screen will freeze and then after perhaps a day become active again.
I contacted xtron support who tell me as we bought it from ebay there is only a years warranty!
Does anyone know of a fix for this or how to reset the unit to sort it?
I bought the unit for him mainly for the blue tooth phone system and it renders it useless when it freezes.

I bought a new Tesla Style android unito for Ford Fiesta 2010 and today arrived. I did installed it (I had to cut some plastic on my car to be able to install it), but the unit have big problems with the screen, as you may see on attached picture. I have to mention that touchscreen is working, on all corners or all buttons I'm pushing, just the image is not working.

Seller told me that he will talk tomorrow morning with their engineer and come with a solution, but in the meantime, maybe some of you had similar issues or you may have a clue on what's wrong.

Seller told me that TFT board is damaged and he sent another one by post. As soon as I get it, I'll see if this fixes the issue, in case someone else have same issue.
Seller sent another TFT board, but the issue wasn't sorted out and he did sent another unit. I've got it today and is working perfect so far, I still don't know what was wrong with the other one, but I'll send it back to the seller. Anyway, my issue was sorted out, so this thread can be closed.
Back in 2017 i bought the all touchscreen A62721P, and a couple months later it was a brick.
Atoto customer service was great and replaced it within a week. However, they replaced it with one that had physical buttons. I kept it, and its worked fine ever since.
To my point...
I don't know the model they gave me. I remember the box had a sticker over that info. The head unit doesn't say anything other than A6..series.
Is that all the info i need?
Question...since i am pretty sure i have never updated any firmware/software, do i need to start from the beginning, or just use the latest i can find.
Question...does anyone have links to the downloads
