So, a while back i tried rooting my j5 2015 (sm-j500fn), unsuccesfully. The error I had was that when entering the recovery i installed from Odin would not boot up. I left it at that and opened my phone normaly ,and used it that way. Though today when doing differemt stuff i had very low space and decided to do a factory reset from the settings themself. When i tapped okay the phone powered off, then on and to the teamwin recovery project, which cant load and just kind of bootloops. Can i fix this? Help >_<
Install an older version of samsung smartswitch on your pc and use its erase and update option.(latest version doesnt have it)
You probably installed the wrong recovery.

This morning, there was an update for the Xposed Framework, tried to install it and installed via TWRP recovery. However after install and reboot, there is still notification on some components not installed so I decided to tick the Install automatically option in TWRP.
However, upon reboot and enter into recovery, I ended up being in boot loop
Now my phone is just flossing the Teamwin splash screen, so i assume that its going into boot loop.
I hope someone can guide me on what to do to fix the problem.
By the way, once connected to PC it is detected, however, ODIN and Kies seems not to detect the device
Tried demoing batteries, removing sd card but problem sis still there
Make sure u have the right drivers installed on ur computer so ur computer recognizes it.
My phone did this same thing the other day BC i was messing around with some files in Root Explorer anyway, after I got the correct drivers installed, I was able to fix it using an older version of ODIN (the new ODIN would not work for some reason), all I did was reflash TWRP and when my phone rebooted all my stuff was still there and nothing was changed.
Hope this helps.

Hey guys,
I really need your help. I have done an update of my twrp. My phone is rooted.
Now after it the phone stucks at the boot logo "Samsung Galaxy S8 powered by Android".
The hotkey combination for booting to Recovery does not work; nothing happens. The hotkey combination for download mode works.
I tried applying TWRP via Odin; nothing changed. What can I do? I don't want to lose all data

EDIT:
Problem solved: TWRP Version twrp-3.1.1-2-dreamlte.img.tar seems to be broken. DOwngraded via odin and it works again!
flash stock rom through odin then flash twrp. yes you will lose your data this is why it is advisable to keep a backup.
so i accidentally destroyed my efs partition on my Samsung and last baseband and all that in the process of trying to fix that i seem to have broken the bootloader or something so the phone just flashes on the samsung logo, when i try to flash stock firmware or anything other than twrp the flash fails and the phone shows this error: "an error has occurred while updating the device software. Use emergency function in the smart switch pc software." the phone isn't reconised in the smart switch software though so i cant try to fix it through that. im really not sure what to do at this point, does anyone have any ideas?
Update: i managed to find the latest firmware to flash (CRGB) however my phone gets stuck on the flashing samsung logo and idk what to do now. also my efs partition is broken is there a way i can fix that? (i dont have a backup)
can u boot to twrp?

hey guys!
I tried to root my Tab 4 and failed... got stuck on a screen saying that a system upgrade got an issue. Then I downloaded the TWRP Recovery Data and booted this on my device. Now I'm outta the last screen but can't exit TWRP. Neither can I enter my System, I'm stuck. Trying to hard reset is also not an option and even odin doesn't even recognices it even more... Please somebody help me!
Hi,
I have a Samsung J5 Prime (SG570M) that is stuck in download mode. I flashed the stock rom with Odin (both last version) and when the flashing ends, it says 'successful' in Odin, but when the phone reboots it doesn't boot up, the screen remains black. The samsung logo doesn't even appear. Any suggestion what could it be or what should I do? I have done this a few times and followed all steps, and already tried changing PC, USB port and cables. I don't know what else to do or what I'm doing wrong.
Any help would be awesome, thanks in advance!
Are you able to enter recovery mode and wipe the cache?
Thanks again for answering
No, I'm not able to enter recovery neither. Tried every possible button combination :/
