Did you try doing a factory reset? If no, maybe you should try doing that before you do any flashing.

Check what ver do you have now. You can download the latest firmware from your country on Sammobile then flash again via odin. after flashing try to clear data and cache on recovery. Hope it fixes your problem.

hmmm... im afraid your phone are useless now..
btw, i have read somewhere that there is a way to recover your IMEI but i cant remember where it is.
Try to connect your phone from the KIES program in a mode of emergency restoration of firmware by Model phone type and Serial Number of the phone. This may take several hours. To do this, you need a good internet.

Always do backups!!
You need to go read this . From experience you're going to probably have to repartition your phone, but if you follow the steps, it works. I've done it twice now on a gs4 active and a gs3.
Good luck

Can't blame that one on xda. Lol
I'm researching a couple things i thought of, but the biggest thing i hope you learned is to have a backup of your efs somewhere safe, and anyways do backups before you do any rom changes or mods.

flash a modem and test
So I know this is a weird issue. I've done my research and tested way too many times before posting this up
OK, so the problem is that I can't send or receive MMS on my LTE network. Also, I believe this causes me to have problems with my GPS as it sometimes it can be detected and sometimes it won't.
The steps I've taken to rectify the problem:
1. Completely unrooted phone and flashed stock firmware from sammobile.com.
2. Checked if MMS and maps were working on the stock firmware and they were. I checked the USSD code using *#1234# in the dialer and it was working.
3. Done the rooting process and flashed new recovery and new ROM.
4. Tried to send MMS and issue persisted again. Also, when I send the MMS it disconnects my LTE and stays disconnected till I reconnect again.
5. I checked the USSD again and it says "Connection problem or invalid MMI code"
6. I have flashed so many different modems and bootloaders and the problem is still there. Unless I unroot and stick to my network provided ROM.
7. I checked APN settings, manually set new ones up using the network APN settings and still nothing.
What is the problem here? Is it my phone? A hardware issue? WHAT THE..
Any help is appreciated :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

I have no answer to this, but you're not alone.
See : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/help/i9506-temaseks-unofficial-cyanogenmod-t3204676
As far as I can tell, we're both having the same issue with MMS.
I recently tried various things, including a fresh ROM re-install (with everything wiped) : with the stock ROM, MMS are working fine but with anything CM 12.1 based, they aren't (unless I'm connected to WiFi, as I explained in my post, which points to a data connection management issue).
I also tried the latest modem available (CM 12.1 based roms were using XXUDOC5, I'm now on XXUDOF2), to no avail.
Have a nice day all

As that rom is based on this rom, search this thread for anything related to mms. If it works on wifi then it's 100% a wrong apn setting or maybe a bug.

It's definitely a bug. I've already tried everything to do with my providers APN. I installed so many modems as well no luck whatever. I'm pretty sure is an easy, small script that is an easy fix for a developer =/

I don't think the fix is that easy for them because there are already a few patches applied in the past for MMS. Your best bet would still be to search that thread I gave you and see if someone came up with a fix.

Greetings. Earlier i made a rom flash and phone works perfectly except there's 'mobile network not available' error. I tried everything, did a modem flash, tried to change mobile settings, dug the whole internet, no solution. My last option is you guys.... Gave it to phone service, they said the mainboard needs to change and demanded alot of money. I think they can be manipulative since i believe its not a hard brick.
Please help me:crying:
Mobile network not available errors can, in a lot of cases, be corrected simply by pulling the battery and SIM card for five minutes, replacing both and restarting. If that doesn't work, you could then go to Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Network operators and select "automatically". As a last resort, you could try a factory reset.
If none of these work, your phone service is likely correct in its assessment.

Including the factory reset? Then unfortunately, you have a motherboard replacement to look forward to.

Yes i did. Weird thing is i still can't be sure about the problem. I have the baseband, intact IMEI... Everything looks in order except mobile connection. Stock didn't succeed, modems as well.
I wonder if there could be some EFS problems? I mean i have a working s4, if i backup folders from it an apply to broken one, i wonder if it would fix the problem?
Hi,
Since this morning my mobile data is not working anymore. The toggle works but no mobile data. I already flashed the rom again with a full wipe. Nothing. Also tried recovering from an old backup... No luck. Re-entered my APN, rebooted my phone... Still no luck. I think I'll have to flash a stock rom? Or any other suggestions?
Thanks

Maybe you can do a factory reset of your device when you backed up your stuff. Unfortunately there's little less you can do on locked devices...
