So, a while back i tried rooting my j5 2015 (sm-j500fn), unsuccesfully. The error I had was that when entering the recovery i installed from Odin would not boot up. I left it at that and opened my phone normaly ,and used it that way. Though today when doing differemt stuff i had very low space and decided to do a factory reset from the settings themself. When i tapped okay the phone powered off, then on and to the teamwin recovery project, which cant load and just kind of bootloops. Can i fix this? Help >_<

Tried booting into recovery via the up volume home and power at once and it just keeps going back to that screen for ever ive tried removing the battery for abit and trying again ive plugged it into the pc and its not being reconised im running out of ideas and about to run around in circles on the floor lmao.
Sorry again if this is in the wrong place and such and any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks alot!
Simply, once you are stuck on galaxy s5 logo first time, go back to download mode, install the firmware again, should work!
No idea why but I have to install the firmware twice for it to work .. weird
I just got this phone alittle over a month ago. Today at work, my phone randomly shut down and started continuously restarting. The phone will vibrate and boot the logo, then turn into a black screen, vibrate again, and restart. I had not modified my device at all. Just downloaded your typical apps like anyone else. I already tried taking out the battery and letting it sit and booting in recovery mode and wiping the cache and restoring to factory settings. I also tried to use odin to flash what i think is my firmware onto the device. I wasn't able to figure out the firmware of the device before I did it so i sort of guessed based on the model. Though all i did for this is download what i thought was the firmware, put it in odin3.4, entered download mode and plugged my device in and let it download. I didnt do any rooting or enable debugging/disable debugging before i used odin. Did I miss a step? Does anyone have any suggestions of something I else do. I am so confused on how this happened to my phone!
ok so I have rooted my samsung galaxy s5 for a while now , It was working fine until today when I flashed the rom for android 6.0 from android 5.1 , when it went downhill . The keyboard won't work , which means I cannot do anything on the phone . I tried to go to my storage with my computer , it shows "samsung galaxy s5" but then when I click it , it indicates that the file is empty. I then proceeded to factory reset my phone in settings , which brought me to the recovery screen. However , when it boots up into my recovery(TWRP) , it just stucks at the TWRP logo screen which means that I don't get the options , which also means I cannot do anything . the TWRP logo just flashes every 5 seconds or so. I tried to remove the battery to boot back up normally but jesus good lord , it just goes back to recovery mode on its own . This naturally means that my computer will not be able to recognize my device which means I won't be able to do anything on the computer to help my phone . Someone please help me , thanks alot !!
Flash TWRP 3.0.0.0 again?
Flash a stock ROM, and start from scratch?
Which model S5?
So, basically i ****ed my phone up after rooting and flashing it with the previous Cyanogenmod. The way i did it is by trying to factory reset it with the cyanogenmod and it didn't work, it totally ****ed up my bootload menu. The update came in yesterday and i tried updating it but it was stuck in the "Downloading" screen for 2-3 hours and i can't turn it on again. My question is is there a way to fix it or is it dead?
Hello guys this is my first post.
I have a SM-G930V Verizon S7 that previously was in bootloop with OREO, but constantly rebooted at the beginning of the setup I mean when it says hello and so on.
I flashed Nougat without problems and booted normaly but then the FRP was doing his work, I could not boot since I didnt know the email or password.
I then flashed a file that I found to bypass FRP and succeded. I finally got it working very well.
After a while when I tried to clean bloatware suddenly frozen and then never booted again, I wanted to root but couldn´t.
NOW when I flash any ROM from Marshmellow , Nougat and Oreo, it says PASS in ODIN but I cannot enter the recovery.
Vol+, Home and Power gives me a blue line top left saying RECOVERY BOOTING..... then a blue screen saying ERASING... and the reboots again and again. The menu that I can get is the Maintenance Boot Mode (Vol- Power). This menu has 4 items:
1.Normanl Boot, 2.Factory Reset, 3.Safe Mode, 4.Power Down, and the only who works is power down.
I don´t know how much batery is left because I don´t know if in this menu or in download mode the battery charges.
I flashed the last OREO from SAMMOBILE, I also flashed the ROM wich I grabbed when using VZW Software Upgrade Assistant which supposed to be repairing the device but nothing whatsoever.
I don´t have any new ideas my head is full and hot now. PLEASE HELP will be appreciated.
