TypeFace is working without issues on AOSP Extended 7.1.2 and 8.1 here, your ROM should have OMS. Are you rooted with magisk? There are some modules to change emojis and fonts systemless.

The title of your thread is wrong. You put H2OS when indeed you are referring to OOS.

If u really like customizations on ur device i would recommend Resseruction Remix or AICP both have wide range of options..Yes i agree the camera is not proper...but u can always flash OOs camera zip which i do after installing any ROM to get the stock camera.. In fact the battery backup is better in both these roms and also they have a substratum theme engine

Hi guys ,
If you haven't heard the news Xposed is (unofficially) available for Nougat which is tested as working by many xda members for AOSP devices.
Yesterday I also heard that the GravityBox is working on that supposed xposed framework. (again confirmed by many xda members.) :fingers-crossed:
Here's the link to Xposed for Nougat
Hers' the link for GravityBox for Nougat
Can someone please test it on Moto G4 plus having Nougat and post the status here? Currently, I have marshmallow so I can not test.
Update:: GravityBox is working as expected on Nougat 7.0 (june patch: NPJ25.93.14-8). I've personally tested it. But did not test with magisk yet.

Not on the current OOS (Nougat) but likely when we get the Oreo OOS version. I use Substratum with root but in its "Legacy" form so I need to reboot after any theme application and miss other features that an OS integrated Substratum would provide.

There aren't enough devices running 8.0 to say for sure. Rootless Substratum works on Oreo on Nexus and Pixel devices but those are Google phones. Other device manufacturers including One Plus alter Android code for their own devices so how well it will work is not known. OOS alters Android framework enough that only a few Substratum themes are currently compatible even if you are rooted. On a Nexus or Pixel phone running Nougat if you were rooted most Substratum themes are compatible in legacy mode. That's not the case with most non-Google phones. On those you usually need a custom ROM to use Substratum.
Atm I am on trupurexmm 2.9.
Is nougat worth upgrading over mm?
I read xposed is ready for nougat, any flaws?
Any guides for upgrading nougat over mm, to root as well?
The notification icons in drop down menu are lined up with 5? Can it be extended to 8 icons across? Like in android n-ify xposed module.
Will post more as comes to mind, but that about all I have for now.
Thanks!
Bump.

I personally would say yes it is worth to upgrade to nougat...however I would go the custom ROMs route. I would stay on your 6.0, and then you're safe because most custom ROMs work with 6.0 and very few install over 7.0.
I can't comment on Xposed as I don't use it...but yes you can change the number of quick settings tiles.
So I would go a custom ROM. I personally would recommend AICP or dirty unicorns. Xda thread for AICP, google dirty unicorns they have a website, look for downloads for Clark.

How do I go on about changing the # of quick settings tiles when you draw the drawer down once? n-ify doesn't work "I had 6-7 tiles across with mm" unless I am doing something wrong with n-ify or its just not compatible with nougat?

I don't know if n-ify works with nougat, if the module is updated at all. I was only on nougat custom ROMS and the feature was built on, so never used Xposed with it. I can try and find out if there's another way to change number of tiles, and you could also ask in the n-ify thread if there is one. I'll get back to you with what I find out
Thanks!
I am researching now and definitely know n-ify doesn't work, i dunno why i asked that. :/.
n-ify is badass, and I hate that I must draw the drawer down twice to get to setting gear icon "i don't want settings icon on homepage either". And I hate that there is only 5 big tiles icons when draw is drawn down once and no gear icon..
Go with AICP, it has many customization options, including tiles number etc. I stopped using Xposed because it was slowing my phone down.

Honestly I'd tell you to go the custom ROMS route. Keep an eye on the ground zero ROMs for Oreo ROMS. Otherwise I'd try any ROM which works with the stock nougat firmware. Some do. I'm sure you've heard about the bootlooops with certain custom ROMs with people on stock nougat?
