Hi guys i have samsung galaxy tab 4 sm-t231 .
I want to install a cyanogenmod/lineage os on thia device or a eom which is very like stock android
I have found one rom but they all are not pure android
Why isnt there any rom for this device , why dev wont work on this device
Is there any pure android rom available for this device

sadly there is no pure android rom for this device bcuz lack of support and bcuz of the marvell processor all custom rom for this device is touchwiz based rom its very hard to find someone to port rom for our device

Yes but what i mean is its not full cyanogenmod like the settings and the framework is still touchwiz

actually, it does have CM framework and all. No TouchWiz stuff.

I think it could be a good idea to make an CM10 rom with Samsung-TouchWiz style.
There are a lot of people who likes the stock style but miss the awesome features of CM.
So why we can't fuse both and create an awesome rom for all stock-lovers with the CM features ?
I mean a CM-based Rom with full Samsung TouchWiz style.
What are you thinking about it ?

porting means creating roms for other devices eg...
suppose officially PA team makes rom for s3 ok then it doesnot make rom for s2..
then u can download PA source and u can manually build PA for s2 by adding kernel and device files...
this is called porting...

Tablet is onda v971t v7 dual core 1.5GHZ anlogic cortex a9 1gb 16gb, please someone to point me to download PA as my base, what I need else then to port the rom. it use a amlogic chipsex the mx I think. some help will be appreciated to this noob (very one indeed)

if u have the device specific code(like kernel source and it varies device to device) for your device then u can surely build rom for yourself..
first u need to download the PA source code ,,, just follow these steps to download from the below post

this post will also tell you how to add device specific stuff in the PA source code and compile it all together..

I bought the samsung galaxy s5 lte-a/prime (g906k) 2 weeks ago and Im getting sick of touchwiz even with a custom launcher on it. I would like to ask if anyone knows of any custom rom based on stock android. I've searched without luck. Is there any rom planned to get released or maybe a dev could port one to this s5 version ? I really need help, cant stick with this toy world color ui anymore

Cm isn't compatible with the g906
I know there is cm12 available and tried it but I really don't like the interface of pure android like on nexus. I was asking if a lollipop rom touchwiz based and with samsung apps (possibly even statusbar and lock screen, just like it is on stock kitkat) will ever be developed.

Probably not man, really hard work, not enough sources and only two Devs making custom roms for this mobile...It's a pity!!!

:crying: As far as Samsung is concerned I don't think they will release the android lollipop update for S3 Neo. And AFAIK no DEV wants TouchWiz. Pure android is much better in functionality. So you may well end up disappointed. Best bet is CM12 only.
I don't know for Touchwiz Apps but for TW Launcher there are a lot of similars into Play Store!

I'm trying to port the s4 mini tw lollipop rom but I NEVER sucessfully ported a rom and I would need some help. More, for now I not asked the rom developer so I don't know if I will have the permissions to port it. And finally, those device hasn't the same screen resolution. I think that the project will fail

Well what i find better in cm12 is more free ram, on stock i always have 1.1gb used. but I dont find anything better in pure android.

Sorry but it isn't fully working yet mate. The video didn't even mention where they got the rom from other than stating that it was "cyanogenmod or something", so we assume it's CM13. It is still in alpha stage so it is by no means near a stable rom since a features are still not working such as mobile network and etc.
