Is there a way to force the OTA?
I bought Mi 6 Ceramic Edition last week and it immediately got an OTA update for MIUI 9, lucky me!
And one thing to confirm, it got long exposure 32s! (this is the one feature that held my decision back and forth whether to buy Mi6 or not)

Yeah once you have the update package just select it from the top right menu of the updater app.
Took about 5 mins to flash and reboot on my phone.
All working as before no issues only improvement.
It seems to select what parts of the system to update because there's no way it flashed 1.5gb onto my phone. Must follow the same install as the OTA

My Miui 8 ROM ends with NCAMIEG while the Miui 9 in the link ends NCAMIEI...will it change anything?...I wouldn't like to end up in a bootloop or brick the phone...
Thanks for any answer you could give.

Can I install the OTA from the latest Beta? Or should the device be on the previous stable release?

Previous stable.
The release channels are completely separate.
If you're on beta I would honestly stay there. Global release doesn't necessarily indicate there will be no more beta updates and also there won't be a lot of difference for you in terms of stability.
If you do really want to change then clean install the stable ROM.

I flashed this exact ROM from this link over Miui 8 stable and had no issues.
It must just be an identifier for the ROM version.
Is this the same as the OTA? I have NCAIMEG...
I just received the new update for the Messages app. But the Drop down list doesn't seem to contain the "Messages for web" option on it.
Both my Nokia 6 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge are running this exact same new version on em'. But they do have this option. What's happening? Am I the only one who is having this issue?
I've that option.(same Messages app version as yours)

Are you using any custom ROM? This makes no sense at all. This has nothing to do with the carrier as well. What's happening?
Option is also present, stock ROM & same version
Double posting, sorry
Im stock no root with update from play store and I have that option running good

Yeah that's how I updated it in the first place. I even deleted the messages app and then it got reverted back to the old default version. Then again I tried updating the app. But nothing happened. Still I can't seem to find that option.

Are you running a custom ROM? The people who have replied to say they have it have all said they have stock, don't know yours.
According to this it is being released by handset which would explain why a custom ROM can't get it yet and would also make sense why an AndroidOne Rom would be first.
https://www.androidcentral.com/youre-not-only-one-who-doesnt-have-android-messages-web-client-yet
Also check your Play Store and see if you are certified, this could also be a reason Google have decided not to push it to you yet, actually that would make sense for the rollout.

Nope I'm running stock. I had installed magisk before. But then I had to remove it so I rooted it back to stock using the mi flash tool.

See me edit above, next thing is to see if you are certified in Play Store, for some reason Google are not pushing it to your phone yet and I can only think it's not certified (check play store(hamburger>settings>last entry)) or not passing safetynet (an app can check this).

You are right. Play store says the device is certified. But safety net check fails. I don't even have magisk. How can I fix this?

Is your bootloader still unlocked, this will trigger safetynet but don't just lock it or your data will be wiped!
safetynet being tripped will stop you getting a lot of apps unfortunately.
hello friends, i have A2 on stock rom with april security patch, not a beta tester.
I was wondering if the beta testers of A2 got the may security patch, and does it have any improvements?
EDIT: live in Bosnia
Let's see new things (bugs) it has
Just installed the update
Still no camera2api
Looking forward for the new bugs.
The update is about 100mb
I'm in deep doubt that Google will allow Xiaomi or other manufacturer the cam2api to be enabled in Andrid One program, and don't expect it to be turned on sometime)
Just updated. So far my phone feels more responsive... and qc3 charging speed is back to normal!
Sent from my Mi A2 using Tapatalk
After the update it took a lot of time for the phone to boot! Please do not be alarmed.
May 2019 OTA download link: https://bigota.d.miui.com/V10.0.9.0.PDIMIXM/miui_JASMINEGlobal_V10.0.9.0.PDIMIXM_0bc7970e94_9.0.zip

Nokia devices have Camera2api enable by default out of the box.
Download the update, but at the time of installation reports that it is impossible to update, I have the bootloader unlocked

Good news as official ARcore started to support our device. Now can be downloaded directly from playstore.
Now no root no magisk required.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.ar.core
Tried and it works!
Maybe is very recent because when i searched for it it didn't show up.
but you are right, I tried usingthe link and my MI 9 showed up and installed correctly

October? OCTOBER?!?!? AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! It looks almost like a joke. But I suppose this is the result of the delays. They had the codebase ready weeks ago, they needed to debug and they did not want to risk introducing new bugs, quite likely. Acceptable, overall.
Edit: and I'm not even getting it OTA yet. It's on the Updater app, though.
Anyone try this on the T-Mobile variant converted to international model yet? Does it give you the "Build Version does not match Hardware version" error?

Nope, those issues are not fixed on Open Beta 2, or Stable 10.0.1, OnePlus is really pissing me off, they've really dropped the ball these last few months.

Yeah, stupid, they have that beta on Nov, so if you try a local update it will fail due to older patch. Only TWRP flash worked for me.

Who said that? But November sure as hell should be there! And Samsung had theirs before the end of November for DECEMBER, and Essential had their December patch out the first day of December, which is before the Pixel 4 series, which still hasn't been released. Quit sticking up for OnePlus, when it's very clear they are screwing up lately.

Thank you. I do not understand exactly how Google certification works (device serial numbers + os version !?). If anybody knows and can explain why just TMobile devices got such issues with Google play certification it will be great.

I have flashed that leaked android 10 via local upgrade from beta android 9 and it's working fine.
Is it possible to get the official android 10.0.1 on my oneplus 6t (TMO converted to international)

Well somebody around here said it worked but some of the issues are still there. Like the Google certification and others... So I wouldn't jump into the update just yet... I'll wait some time. I jumped when the "stable" 10.0.0 came out and regret it so I reverted back. So I'll just wait for now. I'm also a Tmo 6t converted. RightNow on 9.0.17

Wifi doesn't turn on
I cannot get wifi to enable. I have reset my phone multiple times, even with msm tool, then upgraded to android 10. It works but after a few reboots, or until I've rooted with magisk, it stops, and I cannot enable it. Wondering if there is a solution to this?

For me, it just says that the installation failed when I try to do the local upgrade option. No information on why.
