Today, I just got a new firmware update that takes my Honor 7X US version from BND-L24567B140 to B150
Update says only: Google Stagefright: Google security patches are merged to make your device more secure.
Google security patch is updated to latest i.e. March 1.
I got this update even though I am in Mexico on Movistar local SIM and local provider. So it does not seem to depend on location.
I have another Honor 7X with T-Mobile SIM but it did not get the update yet. Still on B140. Maybe it is a staged update over several days.
Nothing really new. Still no news on Oreo update.
Joe
Whicheans Oreo would be rolled in 3-4 months
I got that update yesterday also on the L24. Nothing special which is very disappointing. Got excited for a couple seconds until I read the description

Hi everyone, how can I update from my currently build NBD90M to the last one NBD90X? (On Android 7 release in August I agreed to beta program and then deleted my registration)
Thankss
Wouldn't be in a hurry, my phone can only make emergency calls, nit sure if this is the reason it it happened after I updated the software.
You should've gotten an OTA, but you can also download the official OTA from here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/ota
My connectivity issue has been resolved, Meteor blocked my phone as I made one or two "long duration calls" from Morocco to Ireland, after which I reverted back to a Meditel sim until I left Morocco, it took a week to resolve the issue online as I could only make emergency calls, what a shower of twats letting me in the lurch like that, I pay by direct debit monthly and have never defaulted with a payment, shower of muppets.
Download the OTA package referenced above.
The follow the pinned forum post on how to apply a full OTA package...
Then load the package you downloaded.
I was in the same boat as you and thats what I did... no lost data or anything.
I can't find the pinned forum sorry or not sure is the right one, can you post the link please?
I can also provide a data point. I enrolled in the beta program initially when Nougat was announced, so that I could get the stable version of 7.0 quicker before the OTA was released via my carrier (T-Mobile). Then after I got the software update notification for build NRD90U and installed it, I unenrolled from the beta program. But I didn't get any OTA for build NBD90X, because I guess it's still 7.0.
I wanted NBD90X though because that's one of the build numbers for 6P that's listed as working to get the Google Assistant on my phone (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/guide-how-to-enable-google-assistant-t3477879). So I downloaded the OTA build NBD90X from the google developer website as mentioned above, and sideloaded it using ADB. It worked well for me and didn't wipe my user data or anything. Although I did lose data when I had to unlock the bootloader as part of getting the Google Assistant though .
Hey
I'm using my Huawei p8 premium (GRA-UL10) for two years now. Last year I upgraded to marshmallow, but not via OTA, I downloaded the update from Huawei's site. Few days ago I read an article about April 1 security patch for my device, I downloaded the update from the site (not the official site), installed it and now everything is running smoothly plus some tweaks.
The p8 gets update every month, but not via OTA, does it should be that way or something is wrong?
may be its gone from server
ota is experimental if users give good it remain
and if faces issues it will removes
what is your current rom version
no man nothing wrong ota is unofficial
I've been using the m3 for around 6 months now and so far the stock rom is still on nougat 7.0 with may security update, which for my model, btv dl09 c100, dates back to 15 6 2017 according to firmware finder. I've searched for btv w09 c233 on firmware finder and it seems this variant has gotten updates monthly pretty much for a full year. Does anyone have a variant of this tablet that still gets updated? Are the updates I see for the w09 233 variant using newer security patches and bug fixes?
Same here. May. I really like the M3 but I was annoyed when I acquired it last month and found there was no OTA to 7.0.
Fine, you can use firmware finder but it leaves me feeling I have a grey market device.
There is a new firmware but it's not approved for installation yet.
The new firmware will bring Face Unlock.
Security updates from May.
Automatic download and install updates from the carrier and device manufacturer. (can be disabled)
Hi
Is the new firmware approve to update yet ? Cuz on my regular mate 9 I did the update this morning but not my mate 9 PD ....
No, it's not approved yet. I will think in about 2 weeks.

Hi Sho-Bud
Do you have any new for this update for the mate 9 Porsche design? In hicare I see the update since May but the phone just don't find it when I click on the update lol
It is still not approved for installation. It will probably be another week.
Today the update was approved when I checked in Firmware Finder. In the system ypdate it said that there were no updates, so I used Firmware Finder to trigger the update. All went smooth. Face Unlock works fantastic!
my LON-L29C636 still not getting approved.
My LON-L00 still can't update.... Is been a month that I see the update on the HiCare app but each time I click on update it say no update ... =(
I can see LON-L29C432B371 (8.0.0.371) on the Firmware Finder app.
It's the June security patch.
It has been there for 9 days but still says not approved for device.
I only had to wait a few days for the May security patch LON-L29C432B370 to be approved.
Has anyone been able to install B371 yet?
How does the approval work? Do Huawei add devices gradually or does a firmware get approved for everyone at the same time?
Sorry for the questions but I've only had my Mate 9 Pro about 6 weeks. It's a LON-AL00 Chinese model but I successfully rebranded it to a LON-L29C432 European model.
I got the 371 update today and it is stable. Rooted with the kangvip installer and everything is fine and dandy.
