Thinking of Buying the Mate 7

I know someone who wants to sell me the Mate 7 brand new for $300. I'm on TMobile and I'm financing a 128gb S6 Edge but I'm still in the return period. Should I keep the edge or get the Mate 7 and have no payment?

How much did u buy edge for ??
IF they gonna give you refund DON'T think even minute...
Of course Mate 7 i worth big nice screen battery 2 days on edge not even full day ..
and that price ?? OMG like for free .. I purchased my mate 7 for £300
It depends on what you are looking for in a phone. If you are a samsung fanatic then by all means get it but if you like longer battery, bigger screen and a cheaper price then get the HAM7.
PS check if its the 2gb or the 3gb version that your buddy has

2GB version. If I return the edge today I will get a full refund. Should I pull the trigger? Any issues using it on tmobile?
If it was a 3gb that would be a good deal! but 2gb and super delayed updates, I think the edge should work fine for you if you accept its disadvantages
I love the edge except for the battery life. The fasthe charging makes it bearable though

DEFO go for it .. u will save the money + you will have ''the phone'' bargain !
You will STILL be calling ,smsing, emailing, interneting .. u don't need updates for your life .. ''updates'' are gimmick for ppl get brainwashed..
If phone works it doesn't need anything..
2gb 09 works fine on T-Mobile and LTE
id not even think about it, i personally owned few samsung devices under the galaxy brand and note brand, and i had devices like apple, oneplus one and others but the mate 7 is my best of the best multimedia devices i dont even call it a phone no more only topped by the p8 max

Should I buy the S6 Edge Plus?

I am debating whether or not to buy an unlocked international version of this phone but I do not like all the negative technical issues and battery life issues i see on a lot of forums. I have had android before and would not care to root the phone and flash a better kernel or rom to fix the issues if possible, but I want to know your opinion and also to see if anything has improved recently.
Also if not what phones would you all recommend that is similar to the edge plus?
Thank you,
sv7007

Then I should probably wait till S7 edge comes out. I will want the newest and I won't have the money till end of next month anyways.
Wait for s7 my s6 edge plus have two months without any problems but at this time I would wait for the s7
NO don't buy s6 Edge Plus. Buy Samsung galaxy S7 Edge Plus instead. should be out in March. just 2 months left.
galaxy S7 should have a bigger battery.

S7 Edge or Oneplus 3

I'm due a free upgrade in 26 days and am either going with the s7 edge of the oneplus 3 until the s8 whatever comes out. Which would be the better choose thank you.

Go for Galaxy S7 Edge without any second thought. I am now using S7E and previously I used OP3 for a month.

What made you swap?
The S7 edge is a superior device in every aspects imo. The OnePlus 3 is cheap though and gives you more for the money. If you're on a budget, go for the 1+3, it's a sexy device and you'll hardly find a phone that great for $400
If you want the best of the bests though, no matter how much it costs, the S7 edge is the way to go. I've had many phones through the years, always flagships, and my S7 edge is the one I've preferred and enjoyed the most so far. Terrific device!
I wouldn't recommend the S7 though (non edge), the battery is on the "smallish" side imo and isn't that great. Not that it's a bad phone, but the "edge" is the one to get, ideally the Exynos variant.
S7 edge or 1+3, you can't go wrong anyway. The only concern: How much money are you willing to pay for a phone
I tried both phones and decided to use S7 egde, its much better phone, but if you want to buy something excellent for lower price you can go with Oneplus 3.

iS the unlocked V20 a good buy? Good phone

Yes, I know the V20 unlocked version doesn't have wifi calling, but overall is it still a good buy? BH sells it for 800 and no taxes. I currently have the S7 edge but bored with it and want a bigger phone.
If you know from my posts on Android forums I had a hell of a time getting my money back from them for my Note 7 which took 2.5 months. I do not want to buy another phone from a carrier for awhile after this mess.
Would this be a good purchase still despite losing wifi calling? Are there any advantages to it?

Is it the Right Time to buy a new Smartphone?

I wanted to ask if it's worth buying another Note 4 within this year and 2018. I currently have the SM-N910H variant (Exynos), but I want to get one that's SM-N910F variant (Snapdragon). I found one that's about $480 but it's refurbished. Should I consider getting it or should I go for something else? Also forgot to mention that I have a spare ZeroLemon extended battery, since I have a TQTHL extended battery. So that's also why I want to get another Note 4 so I could put it to good use. Thanks In Advance.
Edit: Okay, so I wanted to revive this thread after a couple of months for any new insights on what smartphone to get. So far this year has been somewhat promising, with some disappointments about no headphone jacks and notches. But overall, I'm not sure if it's a good time to consider buying one or holding off till next year. I plan to get the Oneplus 5T during this summer, since the phone does seem like a worthy buy for about 400-500 dollars. I was also thinking about the note 8 or 9, but I don't want to sacrifice an arm and a leg for it. And I've lost faith in Huawei after their announcement about no more unlocked bootloaders. I know that there are plenty more to come, especially during the fall, but will it be worth the wait, since many new smartphones seem to follow the design of notches and no headphone jacks.

Thx for the info. I might consider about the OnePlus 5. Actually I did see a Note 4 Snapdragon SM-N910F on Amazon priced at about $268 but the condition of it was used.

I did find one for about $268 dollars, however it has been used though. Also I'm mainly looking for a Snapdragon one since I have the Exynos one already. But I might consider browsing a bit on eBay instead of Amazon.
Personally I would rather get a N910C as the N910F isn't very stable and has a tendency to overheat.
Keeping in mind the eMMC issue that so many on the forums have faced, the refurbished or used Note 4 could be a ticking time bomb. Perhaps better to put your money towards a new phone or at least a phone which doesn't have a history of hardware failures.
i found a N910T on ebay new for 238.00 hopefully it is new. how can you tell if its been referbished? Im switching back from the I 6Splus and cant wait.

I don't know about the C version, but my F version, after a little more than 2.5 years, it overheats for sure. When this happens, it is impossible to use it until it cools down.

I can personally vouch for the N910C. As it runs on the more stable Exynos 5433 SOC.
I just keep rebuilding my note 4 once you get good at seperating the bezel without craking the screen . U can repair any internal issues without haveing to buy a new screen every time. All the new notes have stripped down features. I need my ir blaster and removable battery I don't want to dismantle the phone just to replace the battery each year.
I think this note 4 will be my last phone, simply of the battery removal, and can tack on a 10000mah battery on longer trips, not to mention if you compare the specs between NOTE 4 and the new Iphone X, Note 4 Wins in many categories especially the screen and camera areas, also compare the note 4 to the note 8. Specs are comparable for this 3 year old phone. Works very well. But to @[OP] $480 is bit much. I paid $100 for mine, and they are about 180ish or so around my area.
I'd avoid any Snapdragon-based Note 4s if I were you. Apart from the overheat issue, the Snapdragon variants also suffer from the infamous EMMC issue, which is a deal-breaker.
to me, exynos is the best choice

Except the fact snapdragon version have much more custom ROMs (nougat fully working including, + oreo to come). Well if you have account on xda... then you probably will count it like a big plus

Well that is true that Snapdragon does have a fully working port for nougat. But there is currently a developer who's working on porting nougat onto our Exynos devices. Many devs have given up on it but I feel like he might be the one to get it to work.
I'm still using using my 2.5+ years old n910c with a slightly newer battery and it never disappointed me so far .
Till today I haven't found any phone to be strictly better . All new phones have over note 4 are better SoC and Camera . But the new designs I don't like so much , not to mention luck of removable battery, SD cards, infrared , a proper load speaker etc.
The best upgrade for a note 4 would probably be note 8, but that's insanely priced so...
If you have the money you could get a Mate 9 and that would be a nice moderate upgrade too .

Hello there. Totally worth it. Mine N910F is the best so far. Even G935F and G928F was my ex-phones and the only one pros was the 1h sot over my note 4 snapdragon.
