Headphone sound is awesome, most of the time I'm using Bluetooth headphones but with the adapter the quality is very good too.

Can't hear media unless in a quiet room. Listening outside is near impossible!
It's an alright speaker, it's front facing so that's always a plus.
It's not bad, but nothing special, no stereo speaker.
If you turn volume on full blast you will hear some occasional crackling. I usually end up turning it down two notches from max. Wish it was stereo.

I'd say its above what I would expect given the price and the fact it's a mono speaker. I would still recommend headphones or a xiaomi Bluetooth speaker

I've check the teardown, it has 2 speakers hence it should be stereo too...
I've got one in my hand and covering one side and the other. It's stereo.

In my opinion the speaker phone is louder and has a deep sound compared to my iPhone 7's dual speakers. The sound is very clear and crisp. Overall I give it a 8 out of 10 keeping in mind the clarity when playing music on loud volumes.

Speaker quality is good, with bass effect however, loudness is not upto the mark, barely noticeable in noisy situations.
Yes good but not that loud hope to be a mod for dual speakers.
In my opinion is not good at all, sound is not clean and even my previous j7 2015 is far better..
For me the sound is fine only when the maximum volume is not raised, since it is then distorted

Speakers sound great, use the app Sound assistant from Samsung and set equalizer on Rock with Dolby on.
