Hello,
i just got my Fire HD 10 yesterday. Updated it (via ota) to 5.6.0.1 and rooted it using this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hd8-hd10/general/tut-fire-hd-10-7th-gen-2017-root-box-t3726443
Everything worked fine.
After that i installed Google Playstore and Launcher Highjacker as shown in this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hd8-hd10/general/tool-disables-ota-lockscreen-install-t3715320
I disabled some Apps using Titanium Backup(like the Prime Video app or the lockscreen package) and that was it.
After a while a began to encounter the following problems:
1: My device was pretty hot in the upper left corner(i fixed it my disabeling the com.amazon.client.metrics - it wakelocked it for 80+% of the time).
2: It (seemingly) randomly turned off.
3: When i turned the screen off for longer than ~5 seconds, i couldnt turn it on anymore (most of the time) and had to force poweroff and start again.
4: When i tried to shutdown my device, the shutting down loop was there endlessly and i also had to force poweroff.
I decided to reinstall the device.
What i did was:
1: Go into recovery.
2: Factory reset and delete cache
3: ADB sideload the os(link in first thread, second post(5.6.0.1))
4: Reboot
Now the default amazon setup your device screen apeared. But here comes my current problem:
When i pick my Wifi Network and enter the password it loads for a few seconds and the firelogo appears, starting an endless loop.
Do you guys have any idea what happens here? What can i do? Hope you guys got an idea.
Greetings
edit:: After beeing in that loop for a while(like 10 mins) it startet optimizing my system-storage and apps in a loop.
edit:: after a few iterations(ca. 3) of the optimizing my system etc. loop and removing my sd card(dont know if that helps) it worked

After having re-installed my apps from Google Play, my device went on loop boot (or almost).
It takes 2 or 3 loops to be able to boot correctly.
First boot only take 10 seconds after the Samsung logo. Once on lockscreen, the device restart, takes longer time to boot, and then reboot ...
And when GNote3 finishes correctly the boot sequence, some of the folders i have created are empty.
Another bug is the lockscreen ink effect : colors changes are not taken in account.
I thought that the boot issue was due to one of my app (but what the hell ! all of them were running smoothly on my previous GNote2) but i think the problem could be related to bad data management ...

I had a continuous boot loop problem after installing a few apps. It freaked me out as I spent a long time getting everything looking good on the phone. I thought it was going to be a case of hard resetting.
I removed the SD card and suddenly all was OK! I had been using the card in a different phone. So I removed any system folders from the card and everything worked fine. That is until I reinstalled some other things and the problem came back. So I reformatted the card in the phone and now it all seems to be working.
I also had problems with changes not sticking on the lock screen. They too are now working after I did the above.
Hope this helps.
Hi guys.
I got s4 phone with official rom (5) - recovery 3e LRX22C.I9500XXUHOC5
the phone has encrypted before 1 month ago and all was work OK.
today I noticed that my phone is OFF, I powered it on, put encryption coed and after the phone booted into my home screen (saw the icons shortcuts), after 1 second the phone reboote again into encryption page again (like virus)...
1. is there any option to stop those reboots? (like safe mode in windows and find out what causing the reboots)
2. if not - how can I export files (Pics, Whatup,Downloads) from phone? (I can boot into recovery\Download MODEs)
THX,
Hi All!
I have P8 Lite running B564 EMUI 4.0 (no root, no TWRP, no other mods)
Over the weekend I had the problem like below:
1. Device rebooted itself
2. Device started to boot but hanged during boot (animation stopped at one of the frames)
3. I've manually forced reboot
4. Device started and yet again hanged during boot (same step).
5. I've left it for 30 minutes but nothing changed so I've manually rebooted it.
6. The same... again... again again...
7. After 1 hour or so the device suddenly booted up properly.
Later on that day I had some problems and it forced me to wipe the device clean... (I was unable to get logcat before the wipe so don't have any logs)
Once I set up everything - it is working so far but...
Question is....
Did anyone have the same (or similar) problem?
If yes - please share some info as I would like to do some troubleshooting.
so 2 days ago i tried installing xposed via app without doing the twrp thing. the installation succeeded but i ran into some problems after booting, i kept getting "lg swithch stopped working" and i needed to unistall the app through kingroot to make the error go away.
the phone ran normally till i rebooted, after rebooting it got stuck on the play boot animation (because i have it in play) and to launch it i needed to turn it via factory reset.
the phone ran slow.
i tried going back to stock firmware through lg flash tool 2014 and using the D72220e_00.kdz and D72210e_00.kdz but it would fail.
also, when i went into download mode it wouldnt show normal download mode like in all those videos, it showed that:
------------------------------
DOWNLOAD MODE
------------------------------
Loading........
Press the volume up key until you see the download screen...
pls help me..
So, I've got a lot of problems lately due to all the Google services not working and always crashes everytime the phone tries to launch it. I've last used the phone back in 2018, so I thought maybe it needed a factory reset and it'll fix itself (short answer: It didn't). But, now the phone is stuck on OOBE and I can't finish the setup because everytime it tries to launch Google services to log into my Google account, it simply crashes and goes back to the network settings page.
One little sidenote: Download mode doesn't work on this phone and it just proceeds to boot up devices like normal (likely due to the phone being stuck in OOBE and I can't finish the setup) and fastboot mode doesn't work as well (it just say "FASTBOOT mode..." and nothing happens). I can't even hard reset (wipe data from recovery mode) the phone to try and give it one more shot.
