HI Can someone Do a Baseband Update/change Flashable Via Custom Recovery i have seen those in S3/S4
I have XXU Baseband Version but since the Lollipop Can only be Flashed At
XCU Baseband Im stuck at Kitkat and I know Im not the only one troubled with that
best regards To the one who can do this
Hi Guys,
My Phone Samsung Galaxy S4 Black edition(India INS) got automatically upgraded to 5.0.1 Lollipop from Kitkat 4.4.2.
Since the upgrade i feel there a performance issues in my phone.
Now,I have decided to Downgrade it to Kitkat.I have identified the correct firmware from SAM Mobile below,
Model GT-I9500
Model name GALAXY S4
Country India (Black Edition)
Version Android 4.4.2
Changelist 923538
Build date Wed, 05 Mar 2014 07:25:51 +0000
Product code INS
PDA I9500XXUFNC1
CSC I9500YDDFNC2
I know all the procedures to Flash the firmware using Odin.
I have few questions below,
1)If i downgrade to the above kitkat version,Will i face Null IMEI problem and why?
2)I have also heard, the workaround for the null imei issue is to flash the modem.bin from lollipop firmware, then Baseband version will be still from Lollipop. Will this create signal problems in future?
Please share yours views and suggestions on this.
Thanks

There is a tool created by AntaresOne to backup IMEI. Do a backup then flash the kk.
Performance issue is usually because you didn.t factory reset phone after a major update.

Yes you need root. Resoring is necessary only of you loose imei.

Thanks.I'm not interested in rooting my device.
After downgrading to kitkat, if i get Null Imei issue,i can still resolve the issue to upgrading to the latest lollipop firmware right?

Theoretically, yes. But you know that sometimes bad things can happen.

You will get imei null for sure. That's normal. You have to reflash a lollipop modem afterwards.
I downgraded my s4 from lollipop to kitkat with odin and firmware from sammobile and i didn't had problem with imei.

Can you share the firmware details which you downloaded and flashed from SAM Mobile?
Is the version of S4 which you are using is a Black edition?

Just downgrade. You are making it harder then it is.

You can't downgrade to kitkat 4.4.4 because the bootloader in 5.1.1 is locked .but you can flash android 5.1.1 ...
go to kies and do recovery fw installation
Just flash 5.1.1 Stock Rom for 910C via Odin.
ROM: Here

Hi..my note 4 910c is shutting down automatically..
I folowed few instructions and found thats happening after System update to marshmallow
I have found and went to safe mode uninstall /disabled some apps which I don't use and after updating I have wiped cache.
After doing all this I have found that my phone has not shut down of 2 hours of usage
benefits of doing that is I found it is charging better thwn before..
Any idea or suggestions?
If you have installed the latest OS updates for Marshmallow. You can no longer downgrade from Marshmallow to Lollipop.

hi,
I have a samsung S5 G900F UK on O2 network, running CM13.
Baseband
G900FXXU1BOK5 - currently on
So im abit confused about baseband.
Can update my Baseband to latest from
--http://www.sammobile.com/devices/specs/SM-G900F/--
Or do i need to find one specifically for O2 uk baseband and update that?
Can i create a backup in philtouch recovery, will that also backup the baseband with it? so i can restore baseband and rom together?
what are the advantages of updating baseband?
cheers
