What rom do you use?
If you want a clean ROM use RessurectionRemix, if you want a good looking ROM use the stock/S6 based ones!
CM11 by Rox. No wakelocks, perfect performance, stable with 2-3 minor bugs .

Neo StockX ROM by @Danny_Dewet
Hello guys, which is your favourite rom for our devices? I know that there is no such thing as "best rom" and i want to know what is your choise There is no matter AOSP, CM or Touchwiz roms
(sorry for bad English)
I am currently using the Resurrection Remix v5.5.5 ROM with the default Black and Red colour scheme. It is a compilation of all the other roms best features. I have indtalled it on most of my devices (s5, s2, tabS10.5). I am even learning about Ubuntu and Git with a goal of making my own build for my P3110 tab2 7". Love this rom.

Sixperience v7
Official CyanogenMod 12.1 klite.
Up up
I tried CM 12.1, OmegaRom and Miui v7.
For me, the best rom is Miui V7 but each of them have their pros and cons.

hi there buddy is blisspop supports the doubletap2wake function? I want to switch there but I want the feature of the doubletap2wake.
Hi ginofakes. Can't remember I saw that option. Running Neatrom now because in 5.1.1 Tidal was unable to find my extsd, and therefore I was unable to save music for offline use.

how about compatible kernels for this ROM?
Thank you so much buddy. During setup one can choose between stock or KToonsez. Don't know if others are compatible. I'm running it with KToonsez.

Sorry but it isn't fully working yet mate. The video didn't even mention where they got the rom from other than stating that it was "cyanogenmod or something", so we assume it's CM13. CM13 thread link is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/development-derivatives/rom-cyanogenmod-13-t3223808
It is still in alpha stage so it is by no means near a stable rom since a features are still not working such as mobile network and etc.

Its clearely mentioned in title as "Galaxy S2 Plus Android 6.0 Marshmallow" . He also has the gave the source of the project which says its S2 Plus - i9105

Don't you think the thread title is a bit contradictory? Surely, there is a confusion with s2 international and s2 plus.

Nope. You need to wait longer until developers work on unofficial builds first. Then there will be more android m ROMs for your device.

Hello everyone, I've created this post to help people post their opinions upon custom ROMs and provide suggestions and help everyone.
I'm using VANIR right now and it seems to be smooth and stable.
My setup : VANIR + SuperSU 2.79 + testv5
State your setups !
AospExtended rom is the most stable with lot of functionalities and less battery drain till now.

Did you try Tesla? I think it's great but I don't know if it's better than AospExtended 3.0. When I tried it, it was 2.0 and it seemed very similar to me. In that case, well, I'll try it again

AospExtended is more customized than Tesla, not as RR but more stable.
there is no "best" ROM, each one have his best one depending his own criteria
however my best one is curently validus + kernel Optimus
my criteria:
- good battery / smooth
- light memory usage
- usefull features/tweaks (all I need, and not too much)
- bug free
- the dev team seems serious (gz)
- no problem to root with phh
- no data toggle bug (not least !)
- Optimus : I like the new governor, no need anymore governor script

Optimus 19 + RR a little bit slow, and connections problems, but a lot of battery time, better than stock, and very customizable
Those who are uncertain about all the custom ROMs, I'll suggest you guys to use VANIR ROMs. They are very similar to MM and a truly pure experience

Lineage OS 14.1 07/10/2017 build is perfect for me!
There are no bugs and u can get the customisation part via gravity box (xposed obviously) !
The only bug I found that everytime I open google photos android.process.media crashes (which is present in almost every custom rom).
There are no other bugs.
Battery backup is great and fast charging is also there...750-820 ma!

AOSP by pirej is fast and lagfree and can be used as a daily driver but if you want speed, stability and customisations at the same place the best choice is Viper OS.
