the system offers me the B405 update
but despite trying to install the update.zip, it gives me error 7 in TWRP.
Please, help me.
It's because you have TWRP .

I'm on Android 5.1.1 and want to update to marshmallow so but rooted and with TWRP installed . So I installed the original recovery.img and unrooted my device. Now when I try to aplly the ota.zip in recovery I get this error:"/system/app/BasicDreams/BasicDreams.apk has unexpected contents. E:Error in /sideload/package.zip(Status 7) Installation aborted." so I think this is because I unintalled some system apps before and now they're missing.
Can somebody upload a TWRP backup of Android 5.1.1 (just the system) (or even better for marshmallow )
Thanks
When I install an update from the Lineageos system this reminds Magisk and the TWRP, and if I install from TWRP you always have error "signature mismatch" even if I downloaded the same update or other updates.
Install update via lineage updater, then boot TWRP Flash magisk and twrp
an expert computer friend of mine said that there should be a configurable device setting, perhaps in the developer settings, to remove the twrp installation which should consequently also not remove magisk. does anyone know the method? even if it is difficult I can do it, or even a method to install via twrp the system that should not give problems whatsoever.
Hello all awesome members, i have searched google, xda and even bing for answers but none have answerd me yet.
So i have an OP5 wich is running Oxygen os 5.1.2 and now i want to update it to the latest.
Things i have tried:
Download and update through the phone updater: Fail
Recovery manager: Fail
ADB sideload: Fail.
To be clear i don't care if i loose root i just want my phone back to fully stock.
So how do i get there? what am i missing?
Can you tell us more details, what ROOT method you are use? If you are using TWRP + Magisk, it's easy to update. Just download Full Update (not OTA) mostly OnePlus 5 will detected if our device ROOTED then will download Full ROM.
Then Goes to Custom Recover, Clear Cache dan Dalvi, install Full Update ROM and flash Magisk again and done

(Sorry for my Bad English)
I tried to root my device. So i flashed TWRP and installed the SuperSU.zip.
after my device got to boot loop.
Now i flashed the stock firmware using sdcard flash method ("dload\update.zip").
it flashed succesfully and my device is working fine. but build version is old (LUA-U22C567B010)
Before flash, it's build number was LUA-U22C567B013.
EMUI updater says "No Updates"
so i downloaded LUA-U22C567B013 OTA update zip file and put it on to sdcard\dload folder.
And i choose "update from sdcard" on recovery menu. after few seconds, displaying "Installation aborted!"
Can anyone help me please...?
(sorry for my bad English again)
I'm trying to update from Android Q Developer Preview 3 to OxygenOS 10 Open Beta 1 with no success and I run out from ideas.
I've downloaded full update package from Oxygen Updater app to perform a 'Local Update' but right after starting the installation process it says 'installation failed'.
Then I thought I could sideload it, but in recovery mode I don't have any option like 'Install update from USB' so ADB says 'sideload connection: closed'. I'm unable to find stock recovery image to work with this firmware.
My phone's bootloader is locked, no root, no custom software installed.
Can anyone point some good solution for this problem?

MSM Back to Stable OOS, update to latest OOS 9.0.17 and then Local Update to Q Beta. That's what I did. From 7T Port, MSM to 9.0.16 and took the OTA for 9.0.17 and after that Successfully updated to Q Beta via Local Update
