My Moto G4 Plus doesn't detect the internal storage in the recovery . I even tried using the PC but even on that the internal storage doesn't show up...I can't do anything with my phone now as no updates or installation to the ROM can be made and booting to the ROM is resulting in a bootloop..Someone please find a solution.

Check if internal storage is mounted in recovery [ TWRP recovery > Mount > select /data partition ]
If still not?
Have you tried downloading files on external storage?
Move files to external memory card or USB OTG stick and mount them in recovery and try to flash.

I can't even access the ROM ..I'm stuck in recovery and the internal storage doesn't show up no matter what I mount..The data in the internal storage is not at all accessible ..Do u have any other methods to fix this?

Internal storage dead
I had same issue with one of my previous phone, turns out internal storage was dead and only solution was to change motherboard.
But don't spend a buck on this phone now. Time for a new phone ,party!!

You might try flashing the stock ROM in fastboot. If that doesn't fix things, little else will.
Before you ask for a link, use the search function on the forum.

Try this!
Flash the stock Recovery and then do a factory reset! and then check if the internal is showing up! did you encrypt your phone??

[Q] Can't mount sdcard in CWM 6.0.4.4. Help!

Guys, all of a sudden CWM can't mount the sdcard. I wiped the data in order to install Vanir's ROM. I was previously on Rayglobe's. Is there anyway to come outta this? I'm desperate guys, please help me. I don't want this costly phone to become a brick! It's D802 BTW.

Sorry, correct me if my knowledge was wrong - but how u want to mount a SD-Card when the phone has no slot for it?
Hi,
Yes, you can't mount sdcard in recovery with phones without sdcard (the recovery can't mount the link to the internal memory, even if it's called sdcard), if you have an USB OTG cable you can mount your external sdcard and make backup or put into it some flashable zip's...
If you wiped data, why you want to mount your sdcard , you have your rom in the internal memory so just flash it...

Internal storage is named "sdcard", even though that doesn't make any sense. I've Nexus 4 and it shows the same thing too.

I used to flash other ROMs through "sdcard" from CWM menu before, it was working perfectly until now. There's also "external_sdcard" sub-menu too.

Hum... No need to mount your sdcard to flash your rom... Like I said external sdcard is if you use an USB OTG cable, it's the link for your external USB storage.
In CWM navigate to the sdcard then where you put your rom, simple...
But if you wiped your sdcard in recovery, it will be harder for sure...
Or I don't understand what you mean
So I flashed TWRP D802 ver. from Flashify, but now I can't even do a factory reset as it says that it cannot mount /data. Now I can't wipe nor can I install a zip from TWRP. Please help me.
Just flash stock. Go to general section. "Go back to stock"

[Q]It's possible to mount internal storage with recovery ?

Hi folks,
Can you tell me if it's possible to mount the internal memory of the I9505 with CWM or TWRP ? I know there's an option for that but don't know if it's working with the internal memory ?
My friend has deleted pictures on his internal storage, I can't access from Windows cause the phone connect in MTP mode.
I just want to mount the internal storage as a "mass storage" to scan it with some recovery software.
He live far away from my house, I don't have the phone with me right now, I ask this question before he come here, if the answer is negative he don't have to drive a long time for nothing.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards.
Cheers.
EDIT : I think it's not possible. I can't mount my internal SD with my Nexus4. I've tried the cygwin method but no luck. There's any adb command to mount internal storage on recovery ?

Can't see SD card

having a strange issue. Installed latest LP Purity ROM and latest tk gapps, and once booted, the phone can't access the SD card folders. Storage shows that data is on the SD card, but I can't see it on the phone or when plugged in. I can only see the data when in recovery. Tried reflashing but no good. Would changing the recovery from twrp to cwm help?
Can't download anything to the phone because of this...
Nexus 4 doesn't have sd card. You mean internal storage?

Yes internal storage. The emulated / SDcard0 is not visible upon boot, but the data is accounted for when I check storage. Also, the data is visible within TWRP.
Where you able to see the data when connected to computer. Yes means take a backup of all your data and then try deleting data partition using recovery and try factory data reset. I am not sure whether it will work 100. Its just a thought.
If you are not worried about your data then try installing stock rom from Google. Then try factory data reset. It will work.
Custom recovery doesn't erase entire internal storage but stock recovery will erase entire internal storage. So you can get back full storage.

Well, i solved the problem.
Since the phone wasn't able to download anything due to lack of visibility of emulated storage, nor was I able to see storage while connected to the computer when the phone was booted, I was having problems trying to even change my ROM or Gapps as I couldn't place them or anything anywhere on the phone. I know, I know, I should of had a backup, but this was my wifes phone and her storage was so full that there wasn't quite enough space to backup
But, while I was in recovery, the computer was able to recognize the storage so I added a different ROM. Long story short, changing to CM restored the phones connection to storage.

[Q] Internal storage wipe

Hello.
Is it safe to wipe internal storage, with cm12. 1 installed?
I want a clean storage, but my pc doesn't recognize my lg g2.
What will happen if I wipe internal storage with twrp? Will the system still work, will i Iose my apps, etc?
Thanks in advance!
After formatting internal storage all your pictures, movies, music, system backups and apps data (like .obb files of games) will be deleted.
Installed apps are on /data partition, so only formatting/wipe data will remove all your apps and settings.

But will it delete the system too, or the root? Cause I can't fix that if it does, since it won't be recognize by pc.

You can try usb OTG through TWRP .make sure that it works first ! ( in twrp menu go to mount and check otg usb).
copy your data to usb ,( including rom and gapps that you're about to install) then doa a full wipe ( system/cahe/dalvic/data/internal storage)
Choose usb otg directory flash rom& gapps . after reboot you can move your data again.
No, system is on other partition. You losing CM12 only after formatting /system. @dxkernel
True but not everyone has otg cable.

i think you can but will get deleted.. if you delete system then no OS.
you ll need to flash again rom... and while in twrp connect to pc with usb. and see if you can see it as drive then copy rom..
if your computer doesnt see g2 as a drive or whatever eay to copy stuff to it.. the the only way i have fixed this was reformatting pc.. then it recognized.
