It's a video telephony camera and, as such, not at all intended for low light use. Think $10 webcam, and you get the idea. For what it is intended for, it gets the job done.

I think it is decent but for me - camera in tablet might be absent as well, i don't care about any cameras in tablets.

Ultimate crap in low light. Shots are pretty noisy even in relatively good light conditions. Wonder if drivers/firmware can improve the camera.

Very poor or useless even with 1.7 f aperture and don't know how could Samsung claim that this device has low light photography capabilities.

Phone brings out enough light to make utility shots useful (for sending to people to describe something rather than social media) which is more than can be said of most phones
