Hi everybody,
I have an LG Optimus L5-II a.k.a. LG E-460.
And I really want to root my phone to use for example GameCiH, GameKiller or GameGuardian...
Anybody knows how to do this?

You too where dumb enough to take an OTA while having a custom recovery. Ey, it happened to lots of newbies so why not you.
If you took the time to browse the forums for even a second, you would stumble upon this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/fix-stuck-custom-recovery-trying-ota-t2907508

I really don't appreciate your condescending tone. I fixed it myself without looking up anything. Learn some manners.
Let's keep on track here about the update...
Can someone confirm changes in this specifically?

1) Updated timezones.
2) It's faster. A lot faster than any other KK or LL rom.

No solid proof there. It just feels that way after 20F and 10N.

Yes, you can.
Anyone else with experiences regarding this firmware? I am finding Lollipop to be quite laggy, so was wondering whether this would be any better? Thanks!

Good Morning all,
Found this post on Android Authority this morning and thought I'd share.
Wonder how difficult (I'm no dev) it would be to install/port this to the European H850 version.
According to AA, there is an update available OTA.
Exciting news ahead
There is nothing to port. You just flash korean kdz through lg up and you're done.

well, I think south kore has h850, mayb im wrong. But those with carrier phones like sprint etc would be out of luck.
What's the model of S.Koreas LG G5? If it's dual sim then can we H860 flash it?
Korean variants are: F700K/L/S
So yes, we need a port, and flashing a Korean kdz on a different means certain brick.

Bootmanager for what? I don't use YouTube in background, and for ads I've always used adaway
So, what are you trying to demonstrate me? I've already told that personally I will never use it, so what's the point to spawn a lot of modules that you use?
And again, here we are talking about nougat update, not xposed.

Hi,
i know..lineage is a tough effort...but what about a custom modded stock ROM?
i remember the best days with G4 and G3...fantastic stock modded rom...fast and beautifull...
..modded status bar....
Please think on it..
and always thanks for the efforts..
+1
The G6 didn't quite sell well, so don't expect too much.

Since my PC a few days ago passed, I had to stop my projects and tests for the first time, but today my new Pc parts will come. If I have everything built in and adjusted I hope will be able to continue.
So what will you have in the custom rom?
Then I look for what is possible, and what is not.
Debloat...statusbar customized...3d minit battery...kernel management...some other fonts...boot menu for entering recovery...stereo mod working...
something else?

Built in Immersive mode,I use tile root to enable it, but cause battery drain, so strange.

Something similar to Fulmics ROM by @xpirt. Awesome ROM that is blazing fast... Often faster than the G6.
I had it for the G3, but I think he is developing for the G5 now.

I remember similar problem on HTC Desire where it was due to wrong graphics driver. Maybe you flashed something wrong, but I cant say for sure.
Otherwise it can be a loose display cable or hardware issue too.
