Is it normal that you can't enable #enable-chrome-home on a tablet? (sm-t580)
Well, I'm able to enable the option in de browser, but nothing is changing (not after restarting the browser or tablet).
Sadly they removed this feature. Now there is something called "Duplex" which has a top and bottom bar.

Ah, OK. That's sad story all together...
Sadly, the function only seems to work on phones... But does not matter if it soon is to be removed.

Anybody know how to get a clock in the top left corner of the screen, in the title bar, instead of the battery indicator?
I had been able to do it using the Advanced Configuration tool before updating my X1 with the Sony Ericson Update Service. Now that way doesnt seem to work. Anybody know how to do it?
In Time settings you can choose it, in the third tab.

I've noticed a strange issue, and I'm curious if there's a fix or workaround.
Here's what I'm doing:
1. Open Google now and search
2. Highlight text in the results with a long press and some tap and dragging
3. Tap the copy icon in the clipboard tab at the top.
4. Receive the toast "the clipboard history was cleared"
And indeed, what I just copied will not be I'm the clipboard. Any way to fight this weird Google Now behavior?
Problem solved! The culprit was the xposed module " Secure Samsung Clipboard"
You have any xposed mods? I've seen settings for that in those before.

Affirmative. I don't see anything in Wanam or gravitybox that looks like the right thing.
I expect there's a xposed fix for it...just can't find it. And if there isn't, it's a prime candidate for one!

It sounds like you are using xposed with the Secure Samsung Clipboard module. I use it and see that exact message.

Stock 4.4.2 from OTA, towelrooted. I believe this behaviour was in place before I re-rooted, after the OTA. I believe it's just the default way for GEL/Google Now to behave. I'm guessing the toast being shown is from the Burnt Toast xposed mod I'm using.
But the issue of the clipboard being cleared is, I believe, not due to a mod. I'm looking to change the default behaviour with a mod, or figure out if anyone is doing that already.
It just seems might odd to me that the clipboard function will pop up and sorta work, but Google makes the clipboard dump, preventing you from using it.

Sorry! I did eventually figure this out--it was an xposed mod I still had installed from before the OTA: Secure Samsung Clipboard. Disabled and the problem went away.

Glad, you got it sorted out. Thanks for the update.
I was using AppLock and now i uninstalled it but i am still having this lock sign at recent apps, i don't need it how can i remove it.
What the lock sign (as indicated in the screenshot) does is to pin applications to prevent a specified application from closing. If you were to tap the icon sign on an application such as YouTube, you will notice that when you press the "Clear all" button or try to manually clear the application it will be unsuccessful. The lock sign has no relation to AppLock at all.

Actually I think you're right, I just checked one of my stock samsung devices.
Another feature Samsung removed, it certainly exists on my other non Samsung device.
Looks like it's an AOSP feature.

Yup, i don't recognize it as a "feature" as i don't think it has much functionality, since i never open more than 5 apps, it is much easier to just swipe those that i want to close and leave the one i want, than locking the app and clicking clear all.

I accidentally found out that if you swipe up on the bottom bezel Google Now opens.
Is this a hidden feature because it is nowhere mentioned in the Settings App.
It's the home (navigation)button. Look for navigation key in settings.

I am aware of the settings for the home button but I am talking about the area to the left and right of the home button.
Not a feature, it's a nuisance if you ask me.

Yeah is so annoying is there anyway can disable it
It's only working when you have disabled the Navigation Bar.
I would like to disable it as well but I don't want to have the Navigation Bar.
I'm using swipe launch disabler from play Store to disable Google now swiping up.

Same here. My Navigation Bar is disabled, but mine doesn't do it either. (Thank god)
EDIT: Just realized something. This doesn't happen on mine because I had already disabled the Google App in 'Settings'.

I think I read it in the pampers that came with the phone or in the actual moto app. I just remember reading it and not caring because I hadn't run it to it till 5 minutes later haha

You have to make sure under the Input and keyboards>Virtual Keyboards that you only have one keyboard active. (I have Gboard and Google voice typing and mine doesn't show up) The reason it comes up when you have multiple keyboards enabled, so you can switch between them using the icon on the right of the nav bar. Hope this helps.

Damn. I also have the 1Password keyboard enabled for automatic password filling and I kind of need it. Having that icon seems redundant since you can already long-press the spacebar to switch keyboards.
Oh well, not a huge deal...just annoying.
Latest update fixed it. Now it puts the indicator on status bar, so no more navbar

//edit
