No relock anything. No risk to hard brick. If you flash down to 711 and then OTA update,it will. No need adb and fastboot install. Install usb and motorola driver
thanks for the quick answer. no relock, so if something go wrong i would still be able to flash some custom and rsolve the issue , right ?

Help!
Hello,
I have been rooted my phone for a couple of months, but got it broken a few weeks ago. Then I have with the help of this forum restored my phone with a rollback.
But since my phone works again many features are disabled and I seem to have only a testkey. Could someone please help me if I get back to the original version?
Thanks in advance (Sorry for my bad English!).

Flash it using twrp open Kirin edition the one here on the forums
First flash the update zip and then the second file with it

If anything happens & the system ask for reset simply erase data and redo the process and that's it {I did this many times since I always brick my phone with testing & always worked}

">fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
target reported max download size of 471859200 bytes
sending 'recovery' (25236 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.718s]
writing 'recovery'...

sorry..but have you renamed twrp to recovery.img?
if it showed FRP Lock in bootloader with green font it's mean that the bypassed is not successful..did you try both method in the video?

+1 facing the same problem... Recently I found out it might be a port issue or a cable issue so i tried using my old laptop. Although it showed sending ok, writing ok but when i tried to get into recovery, it was the stock recovery. Try changing cables or using usb 2.0 ports. I didn't work for me but might work for you.
If possible please let me know how it went.
I have a bit different issue here
My phone is officially unlocked and updated to stock Pie 053
When I flash twrp via fastboot, it doesn't do anything, only blinking cursor
When I press ctrl+C to cancel it and reboot, it is still stock recovery

Here is the twrp which I'm trying to flash

Is your CPU ryzen? If yes try it with another Intel CPU PC,and make sure you are enabled USB debugging in developer option and use USB 2.0 cable and port.
