Hi members,i want to upgrade from samsung s7 edge to s8 + but am a bit confused about the dual curved edges. Which one has a really and true curved display the s8 or still the s7 edge? Thanks for any replay. Sorry for my bad english.
I've used both s7 edge & s8+ but the curves on s7 edge are more dominant that s8/s8+.

I have the S6 Edge and I want to know if the S7 Edge suffers from the same issue.
If I look at the screen (with any app that has a white background e.g. Settings) I can see patches all over it. Not scratches, but patches. Kind of like an orange peel effect. It's not a serious problem but just a little annoying. I also have the regular S6 and it has no such issues. In fact I prefer the regular screen in terms of quality.
But if you have the S7 Edge, please let me know if you have this issue.

Did you get a refurbished s6? I can't see any of those issues with my s7
No it was brand new, sealed. My S6 doesn't have it, only my S6 Edge has it. So you have no issues with the screen at all then? I'm considering getting the S7 Edge.

I had an S6 Edge Plus. With it when the screen was off I could rub my finger up and down the edge a couple of times and the edge light panels would come on. On the S8 Plus that I just got this does not work. The only thing I am able to see are the regular edge panels when the display is on and I open them with the tab I the side. Is this feature not available on the S8 Plus?

always on display really love it.

bad things about it
Galaxy S7 Edge charging slow. compared to Galaxy S6 Edge+ Plus.
S7 edge the sound not loud compared to S6 edge+
S7 edge gold colour also downgrade compared to S6 edge+ Plus. The S6 edge+ gold seems better looking.
S7 edge quality screen also downgrade from S6 edge+ Plus.

Yeahh gold looks better ... normal black one doesn't stand out ..it looks like typical samsung .. phones .. but in gold variant the edge screen shines outb...m gold owner
