Have you tried toggling the cec then powering off the shield then back on and then turn the cec back on?

Hello,
on my LG TV, i could work with CEC on the Stick. But on the Box, there is no CEC working.
Any hints to realize it on the Box?
Greetings Michael
I have no problem with that. My FireTV Box is controllable with the remote from my LG 47LM660S.
Try another HDMI port on the TV preferably HDMI 1.
Hi,
I'm using Snapcast to stream music to my Shield TV. It's plugged via HDMI to an receiver, itself being plugged to a TV via HDMI. When I power off the TV, the AVR stays on (I was able to disable HDMI-CEC on it), but the Shield TV goes to sleep - even if I disabled everything I could that was HDMI-CEC related. Hence, no more music…
Is there any way to completely disable HDMI-CEC on the Shield TV? I can't disable it on my TV.
Hi, I bought a Shield TV Pro (2015), and connected it to my 2011 vintage Samsung TV un46c6300. The problem is that my TV becomes unresponsive to any commands from the remote and the buttons on TV, even if I power off the Shield. The only way to get the TV respond is to switch off the power to the TV and the shield. Power cycling the TV without powering off the Shield will prevent TV from turning on. Any suggestions? HDMI cables are from monoprice from around 2011-2012

No, I will try to find access to another TV to test it.
In the settings on my Shield I have the option turned on (Power Control- CEC TV On), but it doesn't work! Is there a setting on the actual TV as well that I need to turn on, or is dependent on the HDMI cable? Thanks in advance for your help.
On my shield tv I have both options turned on
(turn off and turn on tv via HDMI CEC)
,and as soon as i put the shield tv to sleep the the tv turns off.
I'm just using some generic HDMI cables. The Amazon basics brand.

Maybe it's just my TV, sometimes it'll work, sometimes it doesn't. It'll work more-so for turning the TV off.
I just got this a week ago for $50 with a controller so i figured why not. Anyways, when i turn the tv on with my regular remote, the shield turns on and automatically goes to the HDMI port the shield is on and not the TV which its supposed to do. I don't want the shield to turn on and switch to the other HDMI port. My TV is a visio 70" last years model.
Right now i just keep it unplugged till i figure this out
