I have a sm-t230nu Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (7.0) that I received as a promotional gift for signings up for our timeshare. I used it to stream music to our whole house audio using chromecast audio. I haven't used in a while so I attempt to use it tonight after leaving it on the charger since it was dead. I power it on and it get a pop-up, Knox Customization Your KNOX license has not been activated. I cannot sign into the Play store or my Gooogle account. There is no KNOZ app to go into to attempt to uninstall. There is the KNOX Activation Agent under Device Administrator but the check box is greyed out so I can't disable it. There is a KLMS Agent and KNOX Customization but every option excpt Clear Cache is greyed out.

I have the same issue with the same device and dont know how to fix it. It was a 50 dollar tablet I bought for my mom off Ebay. I can't uninstall the app because I cant find it, and I don't know anything about rooting. Please help?

Lol. It's a bug. It doesn't affect your device in anyway more than aesthetically. When backing out of a folder in your apps drawer very quickly you get a flash on the screen.
From what I've been reading on the thread, this is a very good update. I updated instantly just because I know a lot of people say many good things about it. To update or not to update? That is the question... that only you can answer haha.

Upgrade. It is really good firmware just that one animation glitch
FWIW, I received it per OTA like two hours ago (10 am CET), so it appears they finally are starting to roll it out this way, too.

Not completely sure what you mean, i know changelists, but no "changelist number"...

One thing I've noticed is that in certain apps now when I click on a link it automatically opens it with the pop up browser. I don't know if that's an updated app (taptu is what I'm using). Before it would ask me to open it in the app of my choice! :banghead: any ideas?

I use Perseus kernel for only one reason, the LED controls, but every time I open Synapse it says boot settings cancelled! The funny part is I don't even reboot the device, and that laughable error pops up, and the settings revert back to default and don't stick! I'm sure I'm not the only person facing this issue, so is there any solution to this?

SOLUTION: The error is there when your phone is rejecting the new settings. If you're on the latest Synapse, you can disable it in the Settings of the app.

That depends. Because I keep my kernel enforcing Selinux at all times and it applies settings fine.

Now i have a Vodafone rom(stock) on it, and i want to go to the PNH rom (stock)

Cool I'm from the Netherlands too. Here in the Netherlands only dynafix is repairing samsung and i have send several samsung devices with knox triggered to them without problems.
Debranding is always possible, but I'm not sure about knox. I always root my phone so knox is already triggered on my n4 else i could try it out for you

As long as they are both for your model (N910F) you should be fine, and if you encounter problems you can always reflash the stock firmware with Odin

Yes: you can flash the PHN-firmware WITHOUT triggering KNOX (because it's official firmware)...
You can download, fast, the update file here (MegaNZ) and install it with Odin 3.0.9

If you flash OFFICIAL FIRMWARE, KNOX will NEVER triggered!
If you flash CUSTOM firmware, and eventually ROOT your device, the chance is very high that KNOX will be triggered!

Build them in yourself, search for them, wait until someone does the mod, or go back to KitKat... I don't know what other answer you expect. To build them in yourself, you'll have to be deodexed.
