I try to root my phone using this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039, but I think it is too old to apply on my phone. I followed step by step until I installed the root.tar file using Odin. After that moment, my phone went on with the boot loop, but I can still access to recovery booting. I went on and try to find a way to fix it. I saw youtube saw a video that designed especially for S7/S7 edge. He downloaded a firmware from SamMobile and use Odin to reset the whole thing. I tried the same, using the Odin, getting into the Downloading mode. Successfully download the firmware into my phone, and phone starting to reboot. Again that same boot loop except, I couldn't get into Recovery booting though.
Now the the phone keeps rebooting with the Recovery Booting on top of corner left.
How can I fix it?
Should I bring it to store?
I read a guide here confirm it's not bricked.

After understanding what are definition of AP, BL, CP, and CSC. Instead of flashing only AP, I flash all 4. And for some reason, I got into the Recovery Mode where I can factory reset my phone.
Power+VolumeDown+Home will reset phone. Then hold Power+VolumeDown+Home for Download Mode or Power+VolumeUp+Home for recovery mode. Once in recovery mode, just wait a minute or two and that should always bring you back to the standard Android recovery screen where you can either apply adb update.zip via sideload or reboot phone to system (which should kick you out of this loop).

Hi all,
I have a UK N910F 32GB Snapdragon Note 4, with a custom Lollipop rom that I've been using with no problems for a few months (http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/rom-bob4-devbase-multi-csc-safe-bloat-t3033881). Yesterday the weirdness began - my Note 4 froze randomly in normal use and rebooted. It was then fine for around 5 hours, then froze again, and when it restarted it would continue to freeze on start-up. At that stage I could still boot into recovery (Clockwork Manager custom recovery), so I tried clearing cache and dalvik, which changed nothing. But now I am unable to do even that - it just gets stuck in bootloop and won't even go into recovery.
When I turn it on, it will stay on the Samsung splashscreen for 10 seconds, then reboot and vibrate twice, then go back onto splashscreen, reboots, etc. I need to remove the battery to stop this. The only thing I am able to do is boot into download mode, where the phone works with Odin fine, and I am able to flash successfully with Odin.
So far I have tried reflashing a stock UK 5.0.1 ROM - it initially gave me the ext4 error but I then got the N910F pit file and repartitioned - Odin flashing completed fine, then still got stuck on splashscreen with "Recovery booting...."). I have also tried to flash CWM and TWRP, which both flash fine, but then the phone still won't boot into recovery - I get:
#1 Battery in
#2 power on
#3 vibrate
#4 screen on RECOVERY BOOTING
Recovery is NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warranty Bit : recovery
and doesn't boot into recovery. I'm pretty sure I'm using the correct TWRP and CWM versions.
I've spent all day trawling XDA and the wider web with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I'm hoping it is a softbrick but cannot work out how to get it back. I don't care about losing any data at this stage, just keen to bring my Note 4 back to life!
TL;DR: phone will stay on bootloop when powered on - not caused by failed software install, just started happening randomly. Cannot boot into recovery. Download mode works and can flash with Odin, but all attempted flashes so far haven't helped even when Odin succeeds in flashing.

Have you tried flashing your variants cf-root file with auto reboot unchecked, let it Pass, remove USB abd battery, wait 30 seconds and reboot? Sounds weird.. i know, but for a while that put many users on 5.0.1 softbricks back to their previous working ROM.
I've just done that, it flashed successfully, I took battery and cable out and then rebooted after 30 seconds - it is now booting onto Samsung bootscreen, says:
RECOVERY BOOTING
Recovery is NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warranty Bit : recovery
Then reboots itself, same thing happens, reboots itself - back to a bootloop, but with the above written.
What's the fix for the above? Does it mean the recovery installed is wrong for the Android Rom version I have?
Thanks for your help so far, much appreciated.

If you can still boot into the download mode and want to boot into the system as normal, using Samsung's Smart Switch tool will work. Search Google for "Samsung Smart Switch" no quotes, install the program then after finished installing, in the application, click MORE at the Smart Switch window, then click Emergency software recovery and initialization, then follow on-screen steps.

Just tried that, same issue. When it boots after installation, it says "Recovery booting..." in top left corner, then goes into bootloop. Thanks for the tip though.
Any other ideas out on the grapevine? Or is it time for a return?
I'm having the same issue. Tried stock ANK4, BOB4 and BOC3. Only bootloops and can't reach recovery mode.
Than I tried TWRP 2.8.7.0 and "philz_touch_6.59.0-trlte" but they don't work either.
Don't know what to do now. Never had this issue before on any Samsung device
EDIT: Tried Samsung Smart Switch and it dowloaded PDA: OC3 / CSC: OB6 / PHONE: OC3 (DTM). But my Note bootloops furthermore
Saw 2 other guys with the same Problem and no solution here.
And I found this. This could be the same issue we are facing:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1840030
Hope there is a dev that can make this for our 910F
Hi all
This is now also happening to me...
Have Odind back to stock and it works for about 4 hours,
Then issue starts...
Reboots randomly
Then reboots to blank screen... No recovery
Again uk note 4. 910f
Model: SM-G900P
I've tried every kind of rom flashing here, re-partitioning, recovery images, etc.
I really just want to get to the stock recovery mode with out the auto boot loop.
Please help.
What else do you need to know?
Try flashing TWRP 2.8.7.0 with ODIN, and boot into TWRP recovery
If you can get into TWRP, you have a very powerful recovery with a lot more options than stock, to try and get things working again before going back to 100% stock - if that's what you're aiming for

The flash seem to work via ODIN. See image below.
But it is still stuck in a boot loop for normal booting or for recovery mode.
Am I using Odin incorrectly??

A lot of newer S5s do the same thing (Except they usually boot back into stock recovery, but as yours isn't working, same thing)
Follow this guide (Using the correct version TWRP for your model S5)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64961009&postcount=2
You can ignore steps that are not relevant to flashing TWRP, or follow them all for a rooted phone (Apart from reactivation lock as you can't boot yet)

I followed these steps:
"3) boot into download mode.
4) Odin flash TWRP 2.8.7.0 (specifically this version).
5) DO NOT allow phone to boot, (uncheck auto reboot in odin and if necessary remove the battery as soon as the TWRP flash has completed) then.....
6) boot directly into recovery. (Vol +, Power & Home button combination)"
Although, they were not very specific....
To flash with odin, I used the AP button and did not let it auto reboot. Removed battery immediately. tried to reboot in recovery and saw the same issue.
I think I need all files.
BL
AP
CP
CSC
and possibly to re-partition with a PIT file
You say in the first post you have already repartitioned?
PIT file is for repartitioning
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2799613&d=1402839135
Extract to .pit, add to PIT section in ODIN, add ROM to AP section, flash both together
You can try older versions of ODIN for TWRP to, some people have success with version starting 3.07 > 3.10.7
I was able to do the PIT and the TWRP at the same time.
Although, my phone said "SECURE CHECK FAIL : pit" on the screen, it seemed to do everything.
But upon reboot to try to get to Recovery (power, home, Vol+), it no longer waits and reboots/recycles. It fails with a message that says "Could not do normal boot." and send me to Download mode.....
If I try to boot normally, I still get the boot loop....
I just used the PIT file I used last time and it's back to where I was when I started this post.
Endless reboot cycle...
Maybe the bootloader needs to be flashed?
Ok. My issue with the failing pit (and any other failures from Odin) was a combination of using a bad version of Odin or a bad version of the tar or pit files.
I am able to flash the latest stock rom g900p OK4 just fine.
I can flash twrp just fine as well.
But the boot loop cycle still remains.
I believe I know exactly what I need here and it's the stock OK4 boot loader.
Here's an Odin flashable OK4 bootloader for the G900P. https://mega.nz/#!9ItUDZ7C

Bootloader file was exactly what I was asking for. Thanks.
However, it did not solve the problem.
Boot loop cycle going on still after stock BL, Ap, PIT all flashed....
Any other suggestions ???? Please. From anyone?
I'm sorry to write in this old topic, but I want to know if you solved your problem, as I'm having the same trouble. Everytime I turn on the phone it stucks on bootloop, and after 5 to 10 cycles it starts. When trying to enter to Recovery it stucks on bootloop and never enters. I've tried with TWRP or Philz CWM but it just doesn't enter to recovery :'(
Heya
I followed a guide to download odin and CF auto Root-k3g-k3gxx-smg900h. I installed odin, booted into download and loaded the cf autoroot.
It takes a while before going to blue "RESET" and then my phone keeps showing the samsung logo.
After 2min Odin shows a green "PASS".
However I'm now stuck with a phone that won't boot and keeps showing the samsung logo.
I have tried the advice given in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2725939
Any advice would be appreciated.
After flashing with Odin did your recovery boot and do its thing, or did your phone reboot and just hanged on the Samsung screen? If the latter occurred, try repeat the entire Odin process again.
Heya.
I repeated the process, but while it says "Blue Reset" it's still sits at the samsung logo. The only way to then reboot is to take the battery out and put it back in. Then when I press vol up+pwr+home; nothing happens except the logo. No recovery mode.
The only thing that I seem to have access to is the Downloading.

Flash stock ROM again with ODIN
Don't use CF AR to root again, some phones just brick like that
Flash TWRP recovery, then SuperSU from TWRP instead
So I got a new Galaxy S7 edge (Sm-g935f) and decided to root it, I followed all if the directions, but it turned out that I flashed the TWRP file for the flat S7 on my edge S7. So I flashed stock firmware, then started over, to again make the same mistake. After this I was going to flash stock firmware once again, but this time actually install the right version of TWRP, but after flashing the stock firmware from sammobile using Odin, the phone can only go into download mode, and if I plug it in I go to the lighting charging icon, if I'm lucky I can get to a screen that says no command, and if I am luckier i can get to recovery mode, but no matter what I have done or how many times I have flashed, it won't boot into the system. It just says erasing then installing system update and then no command. Please help me! This is the only phone I have and I spent all of my money on it!

Try to get lucky again and boot into recover and do a factory reset and
then boot into download mode and odin flash official stock firmware.
It should work...

I got it, I just plugged the phone in overnight, and when I powered it on it spring back to life. But more in download mode, my PC says device not recognized even though it recognized it before.
[ORIGINAL POST] - solution further down - (TLDR do not reboot into system after flashing recovery)
Hi,
I'm trying to install TWRP but when i've flashed PDA via ODIN and reboot into recovery, this is what i get. [see images] https://imgur.com/a/zfdvs
TWRP file from TWRP website: 'twrp-3.2.1-0-dream2lte.img.tar' for Samsung Galaxy S8+ (Exynos) (dream2lte)
As this did not work i tried to flash new BL and CP and then i retried to install TWRP, no luck.
Can you please help me! Thanks!
I also tried flashing TWRP (another version just to be safe) via heimdall, but that didnt work either. The enitire prosess is fine, but when i reboot into recovery i still get to the same page. [see images above]
[SOLUTION]
*Do not* boot into system after flashing recovery (TWRP), instead, make sure to boot directly into recovery.
Apparently Samsung Reinstalls recovery when you boot into system after flashing TWRP (or any other recovery for that matter). I do not know if it's like this for all Samsung devices or only the S8, but that's the way it is.
Credit from this article and comment section: https://davideddu.org/blog/posts/how-to-flash-a-recovery-image-using-heimdall/
I had the same problem and found instructions to press volume down + bixby + power and then start the Odin load. The load went fine but my phone locked up at the Samsung Logo screen. I tried getting back to the download mode but the screen went black. Now the phone will not power on at all. Exceedingly frustrating.
I've spent 2 hours trying to work out what did I do wrong (checking hashes, odin version, etc) and the simple solution was to boot into recovery right away after flashing via Odin. Thanks!

I've followed different procedures but basically use ODIN to push TWRP to my SP-580. After that, the tablet reboots. I disconnect the cable and power the tablet down. I then hold VOLUME DOWN and VOLUME UP and connect the cable again. But instead of going into recovery mode, it just shows me the percent charged dial. I can get no further than that and have done that at least 15 times. HELP???? Thank you!!
