Hi ,as the tiltle said, every time that i reboot mi cellphone It eraise the efs partition (IMEI and base band), i have to restore it vía TWRP and works normally ,but when i reboot It gets eraised ,is It posible to repair ? I have root with magisk.(last versión 16) and android 8 oreo instaled(january)
hi , alemarprieto .
i did not teach you the whole steps as reported by others users .
you need to flash back to 7.8.23 and restore your qcn ,
before that , you need to erase whole partition to flush out the corrupted EPS .
use this file to erase and flash ( copy the flash_factory.bat into the 7.8.23 directory /folder)
NOTE : THIS FILE ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EFS PROBLEM
https://drive.google.com/open?id=1FbXlc56R4UHE2wiT4F1nTgr-QmR5jpjj
after that :
you have to use twrp backup :
advance > Terminal
type :
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p14 of=/sdcard/modemst1.img
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p15 of=/sdcard/modemst2.img
after that , move the modemst1 and 2 img to your desktop and flash into your phone via fastboot
fastboot flash modemst1.img
fastboot flash modemst2img
you may update to latest oreo .
feedback .

My cell phone is in fastboot mode.
The modemst1 and modemst2 files are in the cmd folder.
But when I'm going to flash, he gives this error.

Anyone knows a Recovery, which is compatible with the new bootloader?
Go to development section and check recovery threads, it's clearly mentioned there with what it's compatible. Small hint, latest TWRP for example.

No, New TWRP isnt compartible with this update. I have tested it! I think the Problem is the partition, with the update the partition is smaller
I downloded it, i was GPE 5.0.1, tryed to flash via fastboot but the phone dont boot, its blocked @ bootloder unlocked image. the install seems to have no errors... any ideas?

Also you don't need to use superuser flashable by custom recovery,
http://www.theandroidsoul.com/chainfire-releases-android-5-0-root-moto-g-moto-x-2013-2014-editions/
For all Moto G variants, and works fine. Just turn on into fastboot mode, plug in phone (remember to have enabled USB Debuging in developer options), unzip archive and run windows bat to root device. I can confirm it's working as tested by myself. No custom recovery needed, just unlocked bootloader (obviously) and it's done.
I'm proposing to follow this guide for theaking

And use greenify with donation pack to maintain full control over running apps

U tried PowerButton +Volume? (DownloadMode)
u got the correct LG Driver on ur PC? http://oceanhost.eu/ed0bnrnghgef/LGUnitedMobileDriver_S51MAN312AP22_ML_WHQL_Ver_3.12.3.exe.htm
After i got a real brick (bootloader crash) with my D802 i fixed it like this:
1. LG G2 Stock Firmware (Go Back to Stock)
- follow the kdz instruction
- Important, get the LG Driver new for ur PC!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476
2.[TOOLS] One Click ROOT+TWRP Recovery for Lollipop Stock Firmware
- read and follow and u will have root+TWRP Recovery bumped after that
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...ols-how-to-install-twrp-bump-d80230a-t3072186
3. get the JB Bootloader for D802
- install via recovery
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95916177934533199
- reboot ur phone, get Custom Rom (D802) u want on ur SD and install via Recovery (Wipe Cache etc.)
looks like ur Bootloader is wrong/crashed and/or u dont got correct DRIVER (Fingerprint)
hi BFruchtfliege, thanks for your help.
- Drivers is OK
- when press POWER +VOLUME UP = enter fastboot
[490] FASTBOOT MODE STARTED
[570] UDC_START()
- LG FLASHTOOL
-TOT METHOD impossible, only this driver found in device manager
- One Click ROOT+TWRP Recovery for Lollipop Stock Firmware
- FASTBOOT JB-D802-BOOT-LOADER.zip
That looks really crazy with the "??????" thats not normal, What DesktopSystem u use?
If u cant handle point 1. from me u dont need 2. and 3. because u need point 1. ready.
Look in Forum for "brick D802" or like that.
U will find much, may there are other methods, that will help u and i dont know!
But i think, Driver isnt okay... or u got branded mobile... or u got no D802... or ur PC-OS occurs the prob.
Hope u can handle ur Phone. :fingers-crossed:

logo.bin has nothing to do with WiFi working/not-working, at all.
Flash NON-HLOS.bin from the stock image using fastboot. If SuperSU got installed as system root, backup everything, re-flash the stock MPHS24.49-18-4 firmware, flash TWRP, then SuperSU as systemless.
And since that firmware thread is discombobulated and somewhat outdated, the correct commands to flash the firmware is

If TWRP doesn't stick after trying Reboot > Recovery, flash it once more. While in there, go to Mount and checkmark System. Then go back to Advanced > File Manager and either delete, or add ".bak" to the following files:
/system/recovery-from-boot.p
/system/etc/install-recovery.cfg
/system/etc/recovery-resource.dat
That should make it stick.
Thank you very much Sir!
TWRP will fix itself... Once you flash TWRP and start it, go to Reboot in TWRP and select Recovery, the device will restart and TWRP will load, it will stay from now on.
Hi,
I downloaded the latest firmware miui8 from miui .com for my Redmi 2 prime to update because VOLTE was not enable.
After flashing using this command , it doesn't power on .
I use this command
Code:
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash dbi sdi.mbn
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot erase boot
fastboot flash misc misc.img
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
It doesn't detect on device manager , no recovery mode, no fastboot mode.
Completely dead, No led while charging also.

Broo Why u try tiz method...!! Mi flash Tool is easy method so If u r flashing redmi2 flashing tiz method.. Dont try othr methods ??
While Downgrading i bricked my redmi 2 1gb.... No response...screen dead ...but i removed the battery and pressed volume down and power button and it just vibrated then i connected to pc( thank god it was showing device id in cmd) just fresh flashed everything and it restarted and my phone was back to live.. I hope ur device gets to fastboot mode.
I'm new here, so sorry if this is a duff post.
I've done searches to no avail.
I bought my x play second hand. It's been rooted to a none stock android 7.0. I'm having issues with sd card being unrecognised. I've read that this could be a motherboard problem. I've checked it with a number of different cards that all work absolutely fine on other devices.
My question is, would it help if I returned my phone to stock then upgraded to the proper versions of android via the download direct to phone?
If so, is there an updated method? The one I tried to follow uses SDK but the instructions seem to be for an old version (it's a 2015 post) as the version of Android Studio I installed seems to be unrecognisable from what is being described. I'm not savvy enough with these systems to work out what I need to do instead.
Thanks in advance.
Another thought, would it be worth installing a different none stock ROM?
if you are rooted, install twrp and try other custom rom

BTW, one question. How do you run that single batch file?
... restart phone to bootloader, connect to pc, and run this file.
Okay, I've now discovered that TWRP is already installed. Can I use any xt1562 zipped Rom or does it need to be specific to TWRP. I've put the zip on my phone ready to go and done a nandroid backup but wanted to check first before I hit install.
Thanks again
