Q! LG Magna H520y (LTE)

Anyone knows how to create CWM/TWRP recovery on this device? Is there any custom rom for this device? I can't find one in google.... And I can't root this device.. i've already try all rooting apps.. Plss help me... Thank you.

Use kingoroot to root your phone.
Here's the link: https://www.kingoapp.com/

To flash the stock rom you need to download it from the LG site, according to your specific phone. Than flash it with LG flash tool.
After you upgrade your OS to marshmallow, you can root it like it is on this link:

I have done it! Haha, I'm pretty much overjoyed right now
So to those people who will face this problem in the future, here's some tips.
1. Download your firmware from here: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=237
(ctrl+f) then type the model number
2. Follow the instructions from this site: http://www.file-extensions.org/article/install-kdz-firmware-to-lg-smartphone
3. A window will appear asking for your country and language. Choose different country then your language. (If you are not Korean)
4. If an error about "can't connect to server" occurs, ignore it. You've already downloaded the file, so there's nothing to worry about.
5. Wait until it finishes rebooting and optimizes the apps.
6. ???
7. Profit
Hahaha, jk.
8. Enjoy and be careful next time

My god! This thing makes my WETA Rom glides like there's no 2moro! I had to get creative a little after applying the patch. It wiped my keyboard even if I don't check it. But amazing!

BtW. The lack of G6 System dumps causes some delay on the PATCH. I want to recreate the Audio System with G6 Libraries but no chance for it till now...

I was on the G5 Forums before but it's hard to maintain more than One Thread. I would like to give other Users on XDA the Permissions to copy/paste my Thread into the Sub Forums. It would help me alot to get some logs and Bug Reports from the Specific Devices since i want to Support almost all Flagship Devices out there. Some of them need Specific Values, Others can run under Generic. The PATCH System gives a lot of possibilities combined with AROMA. Almost everything is possible with some Help
EDIT: Let Me add a Maintainer Box to the Thread! I will copy the DEVB Project to the Sub Forums where i can allow other to Edit the Thread... Feel free to sign in!

Btw.... my battery life is extra awesome. I gave my son my phone to play with since about 1 p.m. and he uses it compulsively. From 100% it is now at 74%. Which is really excellent. Usually I'll be down to like 52 or somewhere like that. He's doing everything from calling everybody to play his games and watching YouTube. He's eyes old.

I think it should. When you're in a Roma just make sure you check on generic device. The patch does not install any system apps, I believe.

I missed to add that to the Feature List. I've enabled Androids Game detection Feature which optimizes the Performance while Playing Games. I remeber that i was playing with the first Gameboy always connected to a Power Adapter on the Wallcharger with 4Yrs. No comparsion to today ^^ Freakin amazing how long such a Android Device Battery persists...

My only solution was to start all over and have a keyboard zip. After you flash the keyboard, I notice if I do a factory reset and reflash any type of superuser. I really get the snappiest result!

Ok no prob...thanks for that...now it says to flash a gapp package but I have a lg v20...so I should be good without flashing it right?

J320 FN truble withTWRP

After trying to install the LINAGE OS rom i got in a boot loop after that TWRP is lagging and almost unusable ! Any way to fix it ? I HAVE RE FLASHED THE ORIGINAL ROM ALL WORKS ONLY TWRP IS MESSED UP

I'm sorry this may not help you, but I used twrp backups to go back to stock and everything is fine. I also switched to twrp 3.1 so I could stream the backup to pc, maybe that is the reason? Found it on some french forum, I was quite surprised it worked considering I didn't understand what it said. It required registration to see the link, I could send you the img but not sure if they'd be fine with it. Tell me if you want me to dig up the url or whatever

I also dd'd dev/zero over recovery partition first, if it makes a diffference.
And also flashed it with dd, maybe ODIN / Heimdall problem

I'm locked BootLoader for now myb this help...

How did you unlock it ? As far as I can understand most probably by flashing the rom ( it might fave been for the F and not the FN ) it has installed something in the recovery partition.
The original recovery software is OK! TWRP is very unresponsive to the touchscreen

I just used terminal emulator with root access, and maybe you need busybox for dd if it's not in system/bin

Who is Using what Custom Lineages Based OS?

I'm trying to get a grasp on how many Zenfone 3 ZE552KL/ZE520KL Users there are using custom roms? Please Feel free to fill out the poll so I can see who is using what.

There should be an option for stock ROM. I'm on stock and currently not planning to flash another ROM.

Thanks for the feedback. I have updated the title to make it less ambiguous. I only maintain custom roms which is really my interest. If you like stock that is fine by me.

We/they cant vote RR because its not like viper and los that can use as daily driver ithink if you dev. It Too i will use RR thanks to everything bro GODBLESS

RR has alot of errors like System.UI error messages. And the hardware recent app key doesnt work, althrough there is a vibation when I press the key.

- HD 720/Full HD/4K: video stops after 30secs of recording, with both Lineage OS and Viper OS.
- Slow motion: video stops after 5secs
- Full HD 60fps: video recording failed error message.

On Rr too

Asus app takes picture good, but video is terrible

We need to Wait on our dev

In my opinion, ZenUI is an ugly UI and the battery life is better with a clean AOSP rom without useless asus bloatware.
When you came from Nexus rom before 4 years, it's hard to stay with ZenUI...

After install Asus flashlight to activate the flash for the first time, flashlight in QS started working!!

Latest security patch for all rom please hahahaha... Because i will share it to ze552kl fb group thanks dev...

Just copy any lib and apk manually. When you make the camera works, do make a script later.

NEM-L51 B373 update

Installed B373 via proxy-method.
Installation after reboot failed at 50% (missing packages, or sth.)
But shows b373 in the settings.

Everything works

Did you had problems\warnings at 50%?

You know what. I can't say if I did or not. I just installed it via proxy method and completely forgot about it. Obviously it downloaded and rebooted to install it but Ipaid no attention. Sorry for being no help....
