[Q] Unable to mount any usb key

Hi Guys,
I've some problems with my Iconia A500 : when I connect the usb into the host, I go in "Astro" or "Files Manager HD" and I can copy, cut, delete, add ... But once I've disconnected the usb, and when I plug again, nothing happens
I'm running on Jelly-Bean_4.1.2_CM10-FLEX from civato and he told me everything works perfectly with his device.
So I flash the Rom once again, the same problem, I try to go in ==> Settings ==> Storage, but a banner appeared on the screen " The application "Settings" Has been closed " :silly:
I try also more than 10 app with root or no permission to mount un unmout storage ==> nothing works
The only things which working today, it's when reboot the Iconia, but I'm only able to plug the USB key once , after the same problems mentionned at the top appeared.

Most file managers have a setting you must enable for root privileges, try that maybe

[Q] baffling mutiple files and internal not showing on pc

Hello all my main laptop went down, i used it to root my a501 it reconized it internal and external drives,and used it to instal v8 bootloader and flexreaper-relix-gt-rev1. ok think it had one hiccup where using multipicture live wallpaper it deleted the pics out of the folders assigned to each home screen,
But tried to tranfer movies to tablet from other laptop and the transfer bar just sits there, i try to go in movie folder on tablet storage and it shows up empty but can see using Es file explorer.
Also when i connect it tries to install device driver with no luck .,,anyone Have any ideas please!!!!

[Q] Did i hard Bricked My phone :( ??

after trying to flash F320L_AutoRec.apk i can't get to download mode. I'm stuck in a black screen, no notification light, no sound. When i plug it in windows recognizes it as storage and asks to format. I can actually go into it to see a file called image with a bunch of files named adsp.b00, adsp.b01 etc. any idea what to do?

[GUIDE] How to fix File Transfer with LineageOS on Huawei Y6

Hello,
here is my guide to "how to fix the File Transfer Problem" which some people have got.
FIRST:
It's just a problem with windows and not with your smartphone or custom rom.
This guide is for Windows 10, because i haven't installed another windows system anymore.. But with a few differences you should are able to follow this guide with windows 7, 8 or 8.1, too.
GUIDE:
Open a explorer windows and type "Control Panel" in it. You should be redirected to the old Windows 7 style control panel.
Click at "Hardware and Sound" and then at "Device Manager".
If your smartphone is plugged in your PC and you have chosen the File Transfer settings at the smartphones menu, in the device manager should be a unknown device with the name "MTP". (If this device doesn't be there, you should look for your phone at the other register entries and right click on it. Then choose uninstall and check the checkbox "delete drivers" (or similar..). In the device manager window click on the first entry with your PC name. After that click on "Action" in the menu and "Search for changed hardware". Then normally follow this guide.)
Right click on it and choose "update driver".
In the following window choose the second option, and then again the option at the bottom.
In this list search for the "Portable Devices" entry. Double-Click on it.
Now you should select standard MTP-device on the left side of the window (Important:Don't choose standard MTP-supported device or standard MTP-compatible device!)
On the right side you choose MTP-Device. Click on next and confirm the message of "incompatible driver warning".
Then the driver should be installed and your device should be recognised normally by the windows OS.
That's it!

It worked, I just had to go to Portable Devices instead of Wearable Devices. For some reason the internal storage is showing up as 4 GB.

Okay, i've corrected it. Hmm.. How much storage capacity should it be? You could try to backup all files and folders from your sdcard to your PC and then format the sd card in your smartphone. Normally it should partition and format the sdcard with it's full size.

Fire Toolbox

I have two identical Fire HD 10 9th generation. One works seamlessly using the Fire Toolbox. The other gets a message that the device is not authorized. All the settings on both tablets are identical, USB debugging is engaged. The second tablet is identified in the Fire Toolbox (RSK key), but it always asks me to authorize my device. It tells me to unlock my device and that a window should appear with the computer's RSK key and then to tap the box that says "Always allow from this computer". However, no such window ever appears. I have reset the second table to factory default, made all of the appropriate settings (Developer Options - USB Debugging), but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You can use another USB-C cable or USB port on your PC.
If you're PC running Windows 7 or 8.1 that causes a driver fails. Try it to upgrade your PC to Windows 10.

One question please:
Does anyone have a method to permanently disable Wi-Fi?
I know it sounds strange to want a Tablet to not have connectivity, but I have a very specific need to do so. I found I could Root the Tablet and run uFirewall to kill Wi-Fi, but the end user can just undue the setting. I am trying to just disable the Wi-Fi and defeat the Toggle Switch. I would prefer not to Root as I have a decent quantity to configure identically. I wouldn't mind preforming Factory Resets if required to re-enable Wi-Fi if ever needed.

Wondering if anybody knows if the Fire Toolbox 16 will work with the new Fire HD 10 plus (2021).
