Hello guys,
I think is time to update the Hongmi because the Miui Rom is out of date a lot and I'm experiencing some system lags and a rapid drain of batery.
I'm thinking on a reset and install a new rom, it doesn't have to be miui but the problem I'm facing is that what seems, I'm not an expert, is that most of the roms I see seem for wt87047.
Does wt87047 rom will work correctly on my redmi wt86047 (HM2014813)?
If not any romthat works on HM2014813?
Can some one recomend a good rom? Lineage, Vipper...?

Lineage is good. I've tested many. All work on my HM..13. Just be careful if you upgrade from KitKat to select the correct lollipop firmware in Lineage thread.

I've proceeded to install the new rom last weekend and I'm facing some bugs ( no quality on voice calls, some PIN asking screen , and dificulties to reach networks), the special annoiying is the quality on calls
Can you say me what Rom name you gave me to ask to the proper forum if I can solve this ? or if you have any solution or fix can you adress me?

Hi again, I've had installed the lineage version on this terminal in march and I'm still facing troubles with the sound answering calls (the other prerson doen't hear me or I can't hear anything,...) that require to turn it off and start all over again.
Maybe modem trouble? Does anybody recomend me any solutions? change ROM? wich one ? return to Miui?

I've been reading the "Ultimate Guide to the Huawei U8800" at the Modaco Android Forum, and until know I've been able to root my phone, install the recovery and fix the reversed Camera Bug.
But the fallowing part of the Tutorial talks about Firmware Update, is this really important before installing a Custom Rom ? And, if it is can anyone explain me why ?

Well someone here at xda wrote that with the newest firmware you get a baseband-update for some devices (he was not sure I think). I did not apply the newest firmware, maybe it was already installed, at least I did not encounter any problems.
You cannot break anything by applying the newest update from Huawei. So if you want to make sure, go ahead. Just do not stick to the Huawei-ROM. Do yourself a favor and install void, Oxygen oder Miui. I use Oxygen, it is based on Android 2.3.5 which is just very fast and the battery lasts about 2 days. You won't get much support for the Huawei-ROMs and there are some bugs. But there also are bugs with the custom-ROMs, so read the description first.
I would strongly suggest updating to the latest B138/B162 before installing a custom Rom. To my knowledge, a stock Rom installation does the firmware upgrade on the screen/internal modules as well.

As long as yours is a U8800 and not U8800H, then you should be just fine.

They are not the same. B13x are generally made for the whole world, except China. Being the home country, China has a dedicated set of Roms - B158, B160, B162 versions.
B138 is as new as B162, they were both released at the same time. I don't like B162, the icons and interface are slightly different.
I would recommend B137/B138, preferably 138 as it has the latest drivers.

Advise
For those that want to update the firmware of their devices, don't worry (I was very scary indeed :S), the phone will boot, and reboot, and reboot, and reboot .... until you see and Android screen ^^
OH THE CAMERA IS SO FAST COMPARED TO THE ORIGINAL FIRMWARE !!! Thank you ! A lot really
I've used all roms and they work very well (I still prefer Oxygen), but I cannot use them because they need and External SD Card to take picture and listen to Music....
So until there I have no choice that stay with the Original Rom :S...
If only I can help solve the problem...

It took 30 minutes before I stopped the process

I dont even know if its booting...

Wipe only cache, data and dalvik. Keep system. Flash ROM and gapps then reboot.
Hey,my dear friend,I flashed miui8 rom for my g920f, first introduce this rom is from a Chineses romer names Graceox who made it,it patches with g9200 this model,and I flash it with arter97's for note7 grace ui kernel,and it can boot into system,everything works fine except fingerprint and mobile signal,I found mobile signal isn't working fine,the signal appears and then it disappears,then it appear and it disappear,just do this loop,I think this is the problem of kernel,I hope someone can make a suitable kernel for g920f,thanks in advance!I am soory for my poor ability to make this rom perfect,so I hope gifted brother can solve this problem.I shared it with Mega , hope it can be solved as soon!

Probably it's a kernel or modem problem. If a dev work on it, the rom is more less stable for daily use. Just those bugs.

Here I have a recurring problem on my leeco the pro 3, concerning Bluetooth.
Bluetooth is working well on my smartphone, but when it scan to find the available devices, it finds nothing, impossible to connect to anything.
I managed to make a bluetooth logcat.
If anyone can be my savior, it will be cool,

I'm using crdroid but since I'm passed under oreo rom I've got this issues.
I'm returned on nougat but it is thé same !

Then try flashing firmware! Going back to stock will remove the question of it being hardware from the equation.
Most likely the issue is firmware and corruption. If flashing the X722 firmware doesn't work, you will have to do a clean wipe to resolve hard to find corruption or permissions issues.

I don't know what is compatible for your device. I don't think there is anything compatible. You could try flash a couple firmwares to see but make sure to have a backup in case it doesnt work
See the problem is the Chinese version of j5 is not a popular device at all so the support is minimal.

OK, gonna try to port for you a ViperOS ROM, these are the smoothest, remember I don't own the device, do a backup before flashing, first of all, give me a day or two to find a good kernel.
PS: camera is my priority, gonna try to fix it first

No result, buddy, sorry for making you wait, I've got a J5108 from a girl, anyway, tried flashing the ROM, tried kernel after Kernel, I tried modifying the Kernel, no result... Time to move on to a different phone if you want some custom ROMs...
