[Rom] KingZbolt A kingdom Port {wip} 06.19.11 Fixed Phone :D

ok guys here it is KingZboltA0.0.1!!! For those of you who don't know i have been working on porting kingdom to the thunderbolt for a while now.. I am STILL WORKING ON THE FULL PORT..but while i was doing that i had a moment of clarity in which i figured out how to port kingdom rosie widgets and alot of the cool sense 3.0 to a stock TB framework (to ensure data remains entact)
Did i mention the phone and DATA WORK ON THIS

The Changes I've made this far
Added Lockscreen Support and libs from kingdom modded framework.jar to support
Added About 1/3 the widgets from kingdom and kingdoms rosie *these all were untouched i did not have to change certs on these once i swapped out com.htc.framework.jar* (the ones i use)
Added in Mms from 3.0
Added in htccontacts.apk contactsync.apk cspeopleservice.apk, com.htc.android.pimlib.jar (logcat was calling to it for one of the widgets it cut down htcsense FC;ing as much)
Added in permissions for rosie and lockscreen
Added com.htc.android.rosie.jar (i couldnt figure out how to edit the stock one to support the changes of having the new rosie.apk i took it apart undex'd it edited smali's changed them i couldnt get it to work so i just switched it out)

fixed the phone for that version *nasty little bugger*

KingZbolt status is 95% it is more a franken rom between our sense 2.1 and all the sense 3.0 i can get working on tbolt framework without super heavy mods​
Instructions to flash:
Copy Rom To Root Of SD
Boot Recovery
Backup Current rom
Wipe EVERYTHING Factory Data Reset wipe cache ...(except SD)
including dalvik wipe that too please........
ok now make sure your on GB radio (read jcase's warning thread plz)
flash ports update.zip via CWM (clockworck)
wait..........
Reboot ... and enjoy

if you have issues with 3d widgets not showing up in your widget selection please follow this:
I had an issue when testing this that on some fresh installs the 3d widgets were not showing up in my selection
all i had to do was go in with root explorer or another file browsing application and install them by hand (they still install to /system/app)
update as of 06/19/2011 :
So I haven't continued work on this as no matter what i do i cannot get htccontacts.apk working on my build, but I have found some cool toys in another build ACTUAL 3d rosie you can enable her in settings > display > 3d blah blah
im testing real quick then ill upload
im using this over a tweaked version of bamf preview 4
please keep in mind that you can use the 3d rosie mod over that rom but this mod is NOT bamf approved
it was not made nor produced by anyone in bamf

i dont even know where to start for IRC rooms the only time i get on IRC is for stuff for my macbook
maybe team bamf can take what i have and make it run but idk if their even interested

What's your twitter handle? This thread + twitter support + irc = the help you need, I suspect. For irc, start on a freenode server and find channels in there. Find tbolt dev teams' channels and ask in there for more appropriate channels to get help in. And if you're still at a loss, create your own channel, post it on here, and ask on twitter for help in there.
That's what my next steps would be, if I were you. Best of luck - wish I had skills that were useful here - all I can do is type the above.

What roms are updated daily? List please?

As the title says what roms are updated daily or every 1-3 days other than cyanogenmod or kangs of cyanogenmod.
I'm just curious because im on rootbox and love it but not updated enough as im a "flashoholic" :beer:

Afaik PA is quite close to stock (which means it's less likely to break stuff), but still offers customization possibilities (custom quick settings tiles, custom DPI, custom colors per app, PIE). Have a look, you might like it

why would you want a rom that's updated daily, that would mean that there are lots of bugs. you want a rom thats updated when needed. well, unless its a cm nightly. then they chanfe things a lot, and change things back

Looks like a pretty interesting ROM! Can't wait to try it out on the N6. But to answer your question, any 5.1.1 factory image would work for me. At least that's my opinion.

if you are going to build a rom, you dont use a factory image, you use source, then build it up. btw, all factory images work on all providers/devices. anyways, taking a factory image and adding stuff to it is not providing "your" rom, its providing googles rom with add ons. thats different.

Even though the stock images were released to different carriers, AFAIK they should work on all N6's no matter which carrier. If that is in fact the case, the LVY48C image should work fine.

i can build and i have my environment ready but sources are big , and it costs 3.5 $ here to Have 1 GB download On 3G Providers So Pure AOSP may take 35$ For 1 time repo sync ,, Other providers have bad structure , Network Very Bad "Dissconections" and Very low speed"Actually i don't carebspeed i can leave my pc building but Desconnects , lead to Sync Faliure And That Need To Restart whole sync
And : I do this not to Gain money , not to Pay money , But to Make use of my free time to provide something that someone might like

i hear ya, and i feel for you as well. that situation actually sucks. but, you should build your own aosp rom. well, at least id be even prouder of it if it was mine. anyways, as long as you are happy, then im happy
btw, we all do this on xda for free. ive been helping people, developers as well, for years here. ive never ever even considered charging people for help. as i dont develop, i cant contribute to open source that way. so ive devoted my time to open source by helping all those that need help with android.. users, developers, and everybody else

I just think it would be interesting to see a N6 ROM with Sense integrated. I really don't care if you use AOSP source or a stock factory image. I am really looking forward to seeing your ROM available for the Nexus 6.

actually waiting the internet get better there's some government promises and some agreements i might be able to build from source by the half of this month.... it all depend on luck .. if it goes as my expectations there's new base

LVY48C Should do fine. I am personally on Verizon which uses the LMY47Z image, but I have flashed a couple of ROMs that used the LYZ28E image and I had no issues at all. So it is my understanding that all images should work on any carrier. Very much looking forward to the ROM!

I completely forgot about WiFi Calling! I have Verizon so its never been something I've worried about. But yes, LYZ28E would probably be the best option as it allows T Mobile users to use WiFi Calling. Otherwise, after looking at the code there are not many differences between LYZ28E and LVY48C.

I have tested this prototype. Good work by @YumeMichi.........
Defects :-
I have tested the Oreo prototype and found the following defects........
1. Still camera is not working
2. Bluetooth is not working
3. Ambient display and Double tap to wake is not working
4. Sometimes, AOSPKeyboard is crashing, especially when using swipe feature
5. Missing most of the features in 14.1 nightly version
6. WiFi Hotspot is not working
Hope you will fix these soon.

3. More developer settings are available.......
4. Not yet crashed (except camera)

You can root it using magisk and enable double tap to wake in Kernel Aduitor...

I am really happy to see Android O is running on OnePlus X.
Word of the street was it will never run Oreo. But developers did it. Show casing there knowledge and skills.

Anyone want to test out newer builds of ABC? I have built about 50 so far. Right now I'm rebasing my git with all fresh repos. Let me make another post haha. I'm still working on squashing everything out and slowly doing things. Basically each repo I'm switching too im making changes and testing for a day to verify stability. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have a good base to work off of. Got to fix sepolicy permissions for adb and nfc. Fix the default clang it's built with. And update most the trees. Then I'll add in the custom stuff I had in it and pick up smart pixels.

If anyone wants to test later on today, let me know. It will need to be clean flash. im building the one that fixes the sepolicy issues and testing. About 5 more minutes. Other than thats is a pretty complete working rom. some features arent here that others have yet. but it has most.

TMO wfc and volte are working. VZW volte work but I can't test wfc. If someone else has Verizon that would be swell haha

What carrier? Any issues with volte or wfc? Those are like the only issues I have seen with anything. This rom is bullet proof lol

Im with Vodafone in the UK so no problems. Yeah everything seems solid. Very smooth and good amount of customization .
Is there any change you get add the sync quick tile? Only thing ROMs don't have.
You should put this ROM on the ROMs section . it should be known lol

Sync will prolly be no issue at all. But it's not my rom per say. The dev said I could be I'm trying to be courteous. I'm adding things he doesn't have or do so there's that

Ah right cool. Only thing I've noticed is the icons in status bar seem a bit more spaced out than on other roms. I've downloaded all my apps and set it up so will let you know how it holds up as my DD ?
