Anyone?
On which T-Mobile network is your phone locked? If it's locked to any T-Mobile network from Europe, then you just need to unlock by inserting the unlocking codes.
As you mention you bought your phone from Amazon, I presume it Amazon US and your phone is locked to T-Mobile USA. In this case, your device can be unlocked only through the Device Unlock App, and in this case, you will need a T-Mobile SIM card inserted in your phone whilst performing the unlocking process.
Here is a simple guide that shows what I said above, that you might need a T-Mobile SIM or not, depending on the message your phone displays: https://www.unlockunit.com/blog/network-locked-t-mobile-usa/

My phone is not asking an unlock but it has a Device Unlock App.
I have inserted a T-Mobile SIM but i think is it not connected with T-Mobile Network (cause i live here in the philippines).
When i am trying to unlock my phone using the app, it will say that my device is not eligible.
The guide here https://www.unlockunit.com/blog/network-locked-t-mobile-usa/ says that "device’s IMEI will need to be registered as Unlocked/Eligible". - Do you have an idea on registering the IMEI?
Thank you.
Registering the device IMEI as unlocked is the step that needs to be taken only after the message displayed when inserting the SIM shows: "Device is eligible...".
Unfortunately, if your phone displays the message that is not eligible, you can't unlock it with the device unlock app. In this case, I think your only option is to root it and change the firmware. If you can't connect to T-Mobile USA, you can't use the unlock app.

Can you help me with Sim unlocking my tmo lg v30?
Hi mate..
I unlocked my LG G6 TMO using Z3x dongle. For this to be succeeded your G6 needs to be rooted and on 11g firmware. Once you unlock it, you can update your fw to 20a (oreo) using TWRP and your phone will still remain unlock for all network. You can find some reference by googling with keyword "H872 unlock z3x". Hv a nice unlocking mate. Cheers.

You can get Unlock code. Provide IMEI number of mobile and Sim company name is T-Mobile. Country is USA.
Insert other sim card to mobile.

Enter your unlock code and mobile is unlock. You do not need to connect T-Mobile. More details is

Hello everyone. I've got Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 4.4.2 and what i want is to have my mobile phone sim unlocked. i'm currently on T-Mobile Croatia nad i'm trying to insert my new SIM card from another operator... when mobile phone boots it asks for some code. As i don't have the code, i don't know what to do, and as i'm contractly connected with my original operator, i cannot request free sim unlock. However, i don't want to pay for the code either. So what are my chanses to get my mobile code sim unlocked? tried this metnod: android.gs/sim-unlock-samsung-galaxy-s4-i9505-i9500/
i cannot get over service mode menu after i enter 1. it's not doing anything, and as i see, this only works on 4.3 androids. So my is 4.4.2 and i'm unable to enter that mode.
please help me!
You have to unlock ur phone by IMEI. Unique way of make it free is buying a unlock code. Good luck :highfive:

Depend where are you from.
Yes! Correct!
You can absolutly free get network unlock code.
To use any provider anywhere in the world.
So it means that S7 Active is not only for AT&T... - it's for everybody!
Just visit this page
This is OFFICIAL! That's why Support Clean IMEI ONLY and Out Of Contract ONLY.
Can anyone confirm this? Before I buy a locked S7 active and it won't work....
Thanks.
Yes it seems that way. I'm using an unlocked S7 Active with another provider in Sweden. I didn't unlock it myself though (it came unlocked when I bought it second-hand). This thread has some more info:

At the very worst you will have to buy an unlock code. I've done it twice for these phones and it worked both times. It cost somewhere near $20 US. So, you wont be stuck with an unusable phone, you just might have to pay a bit to use it.
FYI, got my unlock code from AT&T and their instructions (below) do not work on my S7A on Nougat
1. Power off the device and remove the SIM card.
2. Power on the device.
3. Enter #0111*, the unlock code, and #. The device cycles off and back on.
Note: You are allowed five attempts to unlock before your device permanently locks to the AT&T network.
I've unlocked a couple this way. Never had an issue.
Free at the Samsung site.
If you have a valid IMEI and the phone is from the USA, the AT&T site will unlock it for use with any carrier (GSM Carries not included).
The response time suggested was 24hrs, but I submitted @ 12:30am, the server must have been slow as I recieved my unlock code in 15 min.
https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/#/
100% worked!
:good:

No solution, I haven't bothered pursuing it as I don't have a need to put this phone on another carrier.
I have both NCK and FREEZE(reset) codes
And I can't find a way to input any of them into the phone.
After inserting non AT&T SIM card phone just says Invalid SIM card.
No popup to enter codes.
On android 6 it was asking for network unlock code, however didn't accept the NCK, I upgraded to Oreo and got the freeze code but there is no prompt anymore.
Is there any trick to make the phone ask for the code?

I have the At&t varient of the S7, is it possible that I can SIM unlock by flashing the T-Mobile firmware and using the unlock app it comes with?
Is your device network locked? Does it asks for network unlock codes when you insert the t-mobile app?

Yes it does but it's black listed I just found out
You might be able to unlock it with some services, but I suggest you inform them about the imei's status as blacklisted.
Try to keep your question limited to one thread. They are all involving sim unlock, and all result in the same answer. Since your IMEI is blacklisted only a 3rd party pay service can help you, and even then you may have issues since the device is blacklisted.
I've tried the secret phone codes in google but unfortunately, they don't work anymore. I was wondering if there are any new ways.

SIM unlock, bro.
If this is your phone then you can ask AT&T to unlock it for you:
https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/?#/
If not then look around eBay for sellers who specifically target this device; they can provide you with an unlock code for a small fee.
Hi,
I found that "unlockboot" can help me to unlock my S10+ SMG-G975U, that previusly UnlockUnit identify my device as Unavailable - CDMA and something like that topic.
Do you recommend unlockboot to unlock by 99USD?
Thank in advance!
Are you wanting to carrier unlock it or bootloader unlock it? The phone is already carrier unlocked, just insert your SIM. The bootloader cannot be unlocked on the G975U.

Hi,
No, there is a message that said "Sorry, your device can´t be activated on another carrier's..."
What carrier are you on? If you flash the U1 unlocked firmware and insert a SIM, it should work. If you don't want to flash then it looks like you need an unlock code, which is odd because from what I have read the G975U is already carrier unlocked.

Wait wait. So you're saying my Sprint S10+ is already unlocked? Just need to flash the U1 software?
If you purchased a carrier branded model new it doesn't normally come unlocked. You need to own the phone outright before a carrier will unlock it and some carriers require that the phone be used on their network for a minimum period of time (usually 1 or 2 months) even if you did purchase it outright from them.
You cannot flash U1 firmware on an S10+ unless it's carrier unlocked.
Hello,
I flashed this one: https://forum.xda-developers.com/s10-plus/how-to/sm-g975u-firmware-downloads-tmo-spr-att-t3908657. Everything goes ok, and the message of unlocking appears, requesting me the unlock code.
Any suggestion?
Thank you!

Actually you can flash U1 firmware anyway, but it will still be locked to the same carrier without the unlock code. Carrier locking is IMEI based, not software or device based.
Sent from my SM-G975U1 using XDA Labs
Have you tried calling the carrier and asking them to unlock it? Most carriers will unlock your phone once you've had it for 3 months.

Recently the firmware for the S10+ became all-inclusive like on the S9 models so I'm not sure if flashing U1 firmware over carrier firmware will get rid of the carrier apps anymore. They seem to get installed now automatically as part of the provisioning for the installed SIM card. If you have a network unlocked Verizon phone and insert a T-mobile SIM you end up with the T-mobile boot animation and T-mobile apps and all the Verizon stuff is gone. Maybe the U1 firmware doesn't work the same way.
I read in a different thread that you have to activate the phone with Verizon and wait 3 days. After that just put in another carrier SIM and the phone should auto unlock.

this is incomplete and some is inaccurate..
his vzw device doesnt need to be paid off but does need to wait 60 days from activating on the verizon network before they unlock it..
also you can absolutely flash u1 firmware on a u device, it has literally nothing to do with the sim lock.. and no, flashing u1 on u doesnt magically unlock the sim..
pretty sure on U firmware vzw device will say message cannot be used on another carrier yet.. on u1 will i believe prompt for unlock code when a dif. carrier sim is inserted
https://www.verizon.com/about/consumer-safety/device-unlocking-policy
sprint however needs to be fully paid off and active at least 50 days and account needs to be in good standing to be eligible for sim unlock

are you trying to unlock the Sim or the bootloader? i have the same phone and was disappointed to find out i couldn't unlock my bootloader. no root no custom rom smh. but it's because Samsung removed the developer option to "oem unlock" which must be enabled to unlock. so done online service claiming to be able to do so is crap and waste of money. also if you're trying to unlock the Sim which I think that's what the site is claiming to be able to do because Sprint is a CDMA network if you unlock the SIM the only other service you can put it onto would be boost or Virgin Mobile which just use Sprint's towers. they're the only network still using CDMA. so pointless all the way around sorry buddy.

Thanks for your reply!
I am trying to unlock the sim, the cellphone was Verizon US, (refurbished by asurion). And wanted to use Movistar (Telefonica, from Mexico just GSM). I am searching to do a root and try to follow this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1693491. So what I understand, the site "Unlockboot" could do a CDMA unlock, and after 3 days of chatting with the person that is on service there, sounds that are possible, also is possible that I can continue using my GSM provider of Mexico. But it is very expensive 99$ USD is 2000$ MXN... Also, I do not trust a web service, also if there isn't a reference on this forum.
So that's the update...

Where I live there are multiple independent phone shops that sell SIM cards and phones and are not affiliated with a single carrier and also phone repair shops that offer to SIM unlock a phone as a walk in service. You can probably find a shop to do it if you don't trust an online service.
