You might have to dial 01191 + the number, that is the normal way to access India from the US. But that seems strange, because the access numbers should be via your local phone provider. I'm assuming you changed your SIM chip...
Be careful of custom ROMS - your T-mobile HD2 is different from the international version and will not accept a world wide ROM. The ROM has to be made for T-Mobile US.
Yes please make sure if you use a custom Rom that its made for your US model some can be used for both

Thanks stevedebi
My problem is limited to some nos. Most of the nos I can dial. Thats what puzzles me.
Like Blackberry, where you select the country prefix in settings, can I select the country in HD2? Or is there some registry tweak to solve this? I am using an India SIM card. There is no issue with SIM as I am able to dial all nos using same SIM in a different phone.
Is there a ROM update for T-Mobile HD2? Pl help with links...
Thanks
We have had to twiddle our thumbs, while our counterparts with the e900 have been able to enjoy Internet sharing by flashing Vodaphone ROMS. Well it seems that those of us with the e900H finally have an option as well.
A fellow forum member reported that the Argentinian e900H from the carrier "Personal" has just received the Internet Connection Sharing update.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20085347&postcount=166
I may try switching ROMs tonight, if anyone tries before I update this post, please inform us of your results.
Update
As I've mentioned in my last post, I have finally achieved e900h Zen by flashing the Personal ROM, and then installing HeathCliff's WP7 Root Tools.
The Personal ROM brought Internet Sharring capabilities. I was able to enable both internet and MMS using WP7 Root Tools which allowed me to copy my carrier's 3 XML settings files from my original Telus ROM into my Windows directory. I then used the MFG app to choose the XML Carrier settings file.
Sweet I connected my phone today and I got a Zune message about an update so I'm updating the phone right now, the info says: LG Update for Windows Phone, hope I get Internet Sharing!
My carrier is Claro on Puerto Rico.
.... Wohoo! Got my Internet Sharing and Add Wifi networks option. Now, time to meet with iPhone friends and rub the Internet Sharing in their face lol.
Is right i´m from Argentina and today I receive update with internet sharing and work´s fine!!!!

I'm still waiting a bit to see if Telus pushes the update so that I do not have to change ROMS.
I have a Telus phone, on a whim I tried CLA-PR as my operator code. It works, and pushes the 7440 mango update BUT since we are using different firmware versions, I did not get pushed a firmware update, and there's no "Internet Sharing" in Settings.
Seems that this shortcut won't work unfortunately.
I'm beginning to have my doubts about Telus releasing an official update. I'd rather not have to flash a ROM - especially a non-english ROM, as I bought into WP7 to get away from flashing.
I had read this article, http://www.wpcentral.com/canada-done-wp7, a while back, but dismissed it as BS speculation. Now I'm reconsidering.
I asked the only other WP7 users on Telus if they've heard anything...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20528489#post20528489

Flashed it to Personal Argentina too. Everything works, EXCEPT MMS. Activated ADC, but it didn't work. Tried to select the carrier XML, but the TELUS carrier file is not included in the ROM. Anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same issue, I have been trying to solve it via registry edits. I'll let you know what I find. Hopefully either registry edits or sideloading the northern America xml network profiles will work.

Is your voice to text or voice to search working? Mine isn't on cellular, but it works on WiFi. It will time out and say "Sorry, we can't access the network right now"
ADDED: Reflashed to TELUS stock ROM. That fixed voice command. Looks like it's more than just MMS that doesn't work on the Personal Argentina ROM. Tried ADC and using ProvXML with a file I made up, no luck in fixing any of the issues so far. Hopefully you have more luck than I do.
ALSO: Is there a way to extract the Telus XML file from \windows\_PROV_TLS_302_220_ENG.xml? If so maybe we can extract it from mine and then transfer it to the Argentina ROM and tell MFG to activate it.
Yes I have the same problem. Also found the battery is draining much faster. My phone seemed to get hot very quickly. Have reflashed back to Telus rom. Will have to live with USB tethering for now.
With the ROM for Personal on my telus phone I having the battery complete drain in 6 hours and the phone was very hot. Also noticed the phone connected to HSDPA (most place get H shown top of screen). Now back with Telus ROM I get 3G as sysmbol everywhere. Did anyone else have the same experince as well?

My hope was that ProvXML would work to fix MMS. It is interesting that it didn't work for you. That being said... voice command and 3G DO WORK for me. I activated them by simply adding the APN information under cellular settings. I still haven't gotten to trying ProvXML, been to busy with the holidays, but if it works for me, I'll report it.
As to the battery issue mentioned, I think I actually get better battery life with the battery lasting a day and a half instead of one day.

Maybe you can try ProvXML too. This is sort of my first time even trying anything like that so maybe I'm just doing it wrong. Hopefully it works (and if it does, please please please let me know... I bought a playbook and I was really hoping to tether it and my plan has 3 GB of data that I don't use... ).

Funny I bought the Playbook as well 249 (for 32 gig). I will look into the ProvXML method. Note in MFG settings under the Set Network Provider I no long have any xml files. I have tried find 302/220 for telus - no luck. Before I did the flash I use to have XML setting files for many carriers.

LOL. You too eh? I've still gotta write my giant complaint email to RIM. I ordered mine NOV 24 and it wasn't delivered until DEC 19... and they shipped it no signature required.....
Yea, the Argentinian ROM doesn't have any XML settings files for Canada. I found a few files for a Argentina carriers (MCC 722 I think) but definitely nothing in there for Canada.
Soooooo Close
Oh so very close now. So very very close, maybe someone can figure out what to change to make it all work.
Okay so I:
Reflashed back to original firmware (LG-E900hAT-02-V10b-302-220-OCT-07-2010+0_DZ)
Set the carrier in registry to ART-AR (so Zune serves up the Argentinian updates)
Let Zune update the phone up through 7740
Chevron and Interop Unlock
Install ProvXML
Followed and used drkfngthdragnlrd's instructions for the Omnia as best I can on an LG http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1233612
Do NOT set ADC to enabled, for me it kills voice to text over 3G
I now have the Internet Sharing option in Settings. Turning it on it says there's no connection to share, so I fixed that by setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\Settings\CellularConnectionName"=" " [String]
That error went away, now when I try to activate it goes "Connection not shared | There's a problem with the current settings". Read somewhere on here to set the carrier profile to someone else, then set it back. That didn't help so I'm stuck here now.
I feel like I'm soooooooo close, but I'm out of ideas for what to try now. Hopefully someone here knows what to do from here.
ADDED: Can someone with the Argentina ROM installed (sonus maybe?) dig thorugh the registry to see what the settings are? Maybe there is a mismatch between the settings I installed versus whats in the Argentina ROM that's specific to the e900h
What setting do you want to know?, i have a mexican Optimus but i flashed it with the Personal Argentinian rom so maybe I can help

Could you provide me with the PROV XML files for Telus (for you guys) and for AT&T-MCC:310 MNC:410 (for me)?
I am trying to firgure out if is is possible to either sideload or edit the current PROV XML files using the current tools at our disposal. Could you copy them out using Windows Phone Device Manager? They are located in the \Windows\ directory...
\windows\_PROV_TLS_302_220_ENG.xml
and probably
\windows\_PROV_ATT_310_410_ENG.xml
As to your request, I can provide anything you need, however... and this is a big however, unless things have changed since I've been on the Argentina ROM, the Telus ROM does not have the latest firmware and drivers that are necessary for Internet Sharing. This is probably why you are getting errors despite getting 7440 pushed. (i.e. when you updated using the Argentinian Personal ROM you got both a 7440 update and an LG firmware update to allow for Internet connection sharing.
Does anyone with access to the Claro on Puerto Rico ROM for the e900h know if the Nortm American carrier XML files are available on that particular ROM? Since PR is a territory of the United States, it is possible that the ROM contains the XML files for North American carriers. Please report back!

Tried that a few months back the flash was successful and could change apn however when selecting network it only allows me to select 2G. When flashing back to the stock Tracfone ROM I'm able to select 3G or 2G. I'm thinking the only solution is a custom American based Rom.
Hello, i have a Huawei W1 simlocked to Portugal TMN and i buy codes from mobileunlocked and sim-unlock, both codes that they supplied are the same and don´t work on my phone.
I really need to unlock my phone anybody knows how to help me with alternate method?
I also changed the firmware with QPST but the firmware doesn´t unlock the phone.
You could switch to mass storage and delete Huawei folder content. After it you loosing IMEI but you have to make a copy all files before it. Phone should be unlocked

I left BOARD_CODE.PROVISION, DIAGLOCK_PWD.PROVISION modified DESCRYPT_ID.PROVISION and deleted AFTER20000_BAK1.PROVISION and NVBAK.PROVISION and now i'ts SIM Unlocked.
If it's not too much to ask what are those files (AFTER20000_BAK1.PROVISION and NVBAK.PROVISION) for?
Because if I put back NVBAK.PROVISION to get the device serialnumber back it will lock the device again.
Best regards
Did MS stop pushing the 8.1 update to the W1? I am part of the developer program and have installed 8.1 on my phone many times before. Now when I have the Preview for Developer installed and check for updates it does not find anything. I am stuck at 8.0.10521.155. If this is the case and MS stopped pushing the update can we manually push it to the phone?

So you have to wait for official update !

Hello everyone,
I found a way to unlock tethering on my Nokia Lumia 520. This may work for other models and possibly for AT&T as well. Basically, I followed this guide:
Thread Here
I flashed the 059S340 RM-915 VAR APAC AU CV firmware, and after setup, just happened to try tethering and BAM, it's working perfectly. It was blocked before while using Cricket's original firmware. As far as I can tell there's no disadvantage to flashing this firmware, as you can change your region and language to US during setup, and Windows Phone 8.1 Preview is working great as well.
Happy tethering, I hope this helps someone else out there!
If anyone tries this on AT&T GoPhone or Postpaid, and it works, let us know!
Cool! Thanks for sharing.
Any chance you could follow the steps here so this could be made possible for people who don't have Nokia phones and/or don't want to re-flash their firmware? It would be even better if I could also get the info from the original ROM (to see what changed), but if it works now when it didn't before, that's very good to know.
Thanks again.

Need assistance in extracting files from OP7 ROM to get VoWIFI working for Oneplus 6T.
Hello. It seems that the OP7 contains VoLTE and VoWIFI profile for Commercial Orange France which users are reporting as working with SFR (Other french operator) for VoLTE and more importantly VoWIFI. I would like to extract the mbn for Commercial Orange France from the OP7 OTA ROM that I have downloaded, but have yet to succeed. Does anyone know where the files can be found in the img files?
Thanks.
@Moderators: If you feel this is more a Q&A rather than "OP6T development" can you please move it to the correct section? Thanks.

Thanks for your polite and kind message. I have added to my above post to let the moderators sort it out. Not really development I suppose, but extracting config files from ROM images and trying to insert into other ROMS could been seen as some kind of development... Maybe Q&A is a better section?

Ohh got it, but any idea which file and what files are these? Because we live in different countries and select Uk files and works in different countries..
I'm using Orange France with OnePlus 6T too. I hope we gonna find a solution to have voWifi working.
Got mbn files for Commerial Orance France from OP7 ROM
OK. I managed to get the mbn files for Orange Commercial France from the OP7 ROM image. However, I am not sure if anything can be done with these, as they are maybe for the Snapdragon 855, not the 845 that we have with the OP6T.
I copied the files to /data/vendor/modem_config/mcfg_sw/generic/eu folder and tried modifying the /data/vendor/modem_config/mbn_ota.txt file by adding a line for the /data/vendor/modem_config/mcfg_sw/generic/eu/orange/commerci/france/mcfg_sw.mbn file.
After a reboot, I could no longer open many apps. COuld not get into the Factory Mode (*#801#) not into Phone Information (*#*#4636#*#*) either. It kind of semi bricked my phone.
I reflashed the full OTA, TWRP, Magisk and have recovered. The orange mbn file is still present in the afore-mentioned location. Cannot select it from the PDC Tool. Cannot "Load" it from the PDC tool with the file on my windows PC.
This is quite a comlpicated topic and I am having difficulty finding information resources on the internet compatible with my technical understanding. Can anyone suggest how I could proceed?
I am from the UK on the Three network and by default, only VoWifi worked. I could not get VoLTE working even when using:
*#800#
I used the guide here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/guide-volte-vowifi-german-carriers-t3817542
and tried multiple settings before I got a combination that worked with both VoWifi and VoLTE. The profile that worked for me was:
H3G_Denmark_Commercial
Might be worth trying different profiles as another combination may work for your network in France.
Hope this helps.
