Hi guys i might need some help with my lg g2 (d802 int version)
Well i installed the cloudyg3 2.0 throw Autorec.apk and all went fine. Then i decided to install xposed and flash some mods (android l navbar and QW_cloudy2.0 fix) when suddendly after the reboot the phone is stuck on lg's logo saying Security Error. I can only Factory Reset and i dont know how to fix this
PS: im on my laptop only monday, for now im stuck in SurfaceRT
Are you able to enter the download mode ?
Power off - then hold volume up and connect to pc.
Vol+power says Security Error
The only think i can do is Vol- + Power that is factory hard reset
Found the reason
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/themes-apps/quickcircle-music-g3-ported-roms-t2800536
Forgot to read Notes
Don't flash any other zip except QW_Cloudy_2.0_fix_v2.3zip if you are on cloudy g3 2.0
If i do the Factory Hard Reset will it go to TWRP ?

Yeah if TWRP is the recovery you have, a factory reset will take you to TWRP where you can clean flash again or disable xposed.

Hey guys need a hand with something,
I was just in the process of flashing a blisspop 5.1 to my galaxy s5 and now Ive ran into difficulties. Phone did a full boot and launched perfectly however when I was restoring my apps through google play I accidentally hit quit and exited the installation. So therefore to restart the process (as I didn't know another way) I hit factory reset. Phone rebooted however it tried to reboot into recovery but the recovery wouldnt boot (twrp) and the trwp screen just kept flashing. Pulled the battery and it rebooted to recovery again with the same bootloop issue. I can get into download mode and am thinking of reflashing twrp but need help before I brick my phone!
Thanks!

you may flash TWRP again in odin and after that I suggest you flash ktoonsez.zip TWRP after that so you have a stable TWRP

Would it be better to reflash twrp or should I flash stock firmware? I really don't want to lose this phone as I bought it less than a month ago.

you may flash the TWRP first if the problem still persist then the only choice you have is to flash stock firm then reflash TWRP, then after that I suggest you flash in TWRP the TWRP by ktoonsez because it in zip file most of us s5 user uses his TWRP
also dont be afraid as it would not hardbrick your device as long as you can access in download you are always safe., first day of my s5 I root it already and flash custom rom

Hi,
I was on official rom 7.0 , then i got update to a newer vrsion via OTA.After update the phone always reboots to teamwin recovery. So I installed lineage os.After that everything was going good. But today when I woke up I saw the phone booted to recovery :/. Tried rebooting to system, bootloader and every other options but still reboots to the recovery screen.Would someone helpe me on this? Thank You.:good:
When in bootloader (not recovery), did you try to select START (vol up/down) and press POWER? This helped me when I did Factory reset from Android menu (not from TWRP).

Thanks, Its a quickfix but It worked ! Got another nightly dont know if I should update.I am not sure what is causing this issue as other users are also facing the problem.
Official ROM should not be updated, if TWRP is installed!
One can use this instead (tried with G4 XT1622 and seems OK):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138
Lineage should be OK to update with TWRP installed.

2-3 days ago I successfully rooted my Moto E3 power by unlocking bootloader and installing twrp recovery. Yesterday I installed Lineage 14.1 custom Rom (7.1.2) for Moto E3 power from here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e3/development/rom-lineage-14-1-moto-e3-power-t3610435
The Rom installation was successful. Phone was working fine. But there was some minor lag and screen was appearing to be yellowish. Hence I decided to Factory reset the phone. I tried to reset it from phone settings. The phone switched off and turned on into twrp recovery mode. Then I tried to factory reset through twrp mode. But it is always booting into twrp recovery. I wiped all cache and data including system data and flashed the above Rom again. But whenever I try to system reboot, it is not booting normally, but always going into twrp mode.
Please provide solution for the issue with appropriate information and links.
Thanks.
Beauause u delete the all ROM
For Reset phone -: not need to wipe system and boot.. Only do a factory reset

Yes, I know that
I had done just factory reset earlier, but after that it kept on booting into recovery mode everytime I reboot the phone. Then I cleared system data to flash the ROM again. I should have done factory reset through recovery mode rather than from phone settings.
Flash a sp flash ROM without format... And again try twrp and custom ROM

Update: Don't know if you still need the solution, but I am gonna share my info. Although as the phone you were talking about must be Moto E3, my phone is Lenovo K3 Note, but the processor should basically be the same, as both runs on Mediatek processors. And for the same reason, they both would use the SP Flash Tool to flash a ROM. You'll need to download the Stock ROM file for your moto E3, and flash it through SP flash tool installed on your computer. You'll get the tutorials on youtube. When the stock ROM is flashed, the phone will start with your stock ROM. I have had my phone do the same and it is fine now.

Yes i recovered from the situation.
You just had to download the sp flash tool and the stock ROM for your respective phone, and flash it . Remember for the above problem you just have to use the "download only" option in your sp flash tool and it will work. if you use "format all+download"
you will left by losing imei number of your phone and then you have to follow other procedure to fix that. but according to me your phone will start by choosing download only.
I seem to have hard bricked my 9T after flashing the MIUI 11 rom from xiaomi.eu. I think culprit is a totally botched/corrupted boot loader and I have no idea how it happened. I've tried reflashing back to stock through stock image .bat files, but no dice. It flashed everything but the device still refuses to boot past the MI screen. If I try to boot into TWRP, my device gets stuck at the TWRP splash screen, no matter which version it is. Does anyone know what I can do or try at this point? Thanks.
So do I, first time I successfully instal first beta v25 miui 11, and than when the v26 comes, stupidly, i flash it from twrp, it tells me that i succeed installing that zip, and than i wipe art and cache and reboot system, but what next i know, my phone brick, i can not instal anyrom, from mi flash tool, or from anywhere. I did everything and still can not fix the problem.
Anyway, you still can enterin TWRP UI, after waiting about 10 to 30 minutes, because after intalling that rom, automatically your data format change from ext4 to f2fs, and twrp will need a lot of time to read your disk.
But, even after doing anything in twrp, still can not make my phone successfully boot into system.
And theres moun I/O error everytime i tried to wipe everything, or fix disk, or change disk format. Everything... and i just dont know what to do anymore.
So may be you can wait patiently until you can entering twrp ui, and please lemme know if you know how to fix this problem

Just the exact same problem as mine. If you know anything about how to solve this problem, please tell us.
I had the same problem with a miui 10 weekly beta but unfortunately I wasn't able to fix it but lucky me my phone was still in a return period so I returned it back to Amazon and got my money back since then I have always stayed away from beta ROMs . I tried everything but it wasn't booting pass the mi logo as you said

Can you list your steps to fix this? My data and cache partitions are 0kb and i get i/o errors too.
I have persist problems after installing muiu 11 over the los16.
Thinking about relock it and sens it back to aliexpress seller.
@mvha just go into fastboot mode, and flash persist.img from stock fastboot rom,
With command : fastboot flash persist persist.img
Thats all

This makes sense as I remember trying to boot into stock recovery early in the morning. I woke up and it finally booted, but the recovery was in Chinese. I will give 4PDA TWRP about an hour and see what I can do. Thanks.
