Good Morning.
I hope you can help me with this problem.
I have a 2 din SWM8802 Android.
When the car is stopped, I can use it without problems, but as soon as I start walking, an image appears on the screen constantly, even if I'm just listening to music. When this image comes out, the sound is lowered
In the device options, I have the video warning disabled, but the image continues to appear and is not the video warning.
* I do not know what to do.
I have already restored the factory settings and I have updated the Android version, but it is still happening.
I wait for your help.
Thank you very much.

a screen shot would help immensely.......
Thank you.
This is the image.

See if you can help me because I do not know what to do anymore.
This looks like the back up camera input came on. Normally this is triggered by applying 12v to the brown wire (next to the pink one).
Make sure this wire is insulated and not touching a power cable.
By the way i have the same unit. Where did you get the update files?

Goodnight.
Thank you very much for your answer.
I have checked the cables and at first glance they seem well insulated.
Can there be another reason?
The update I do not remember where I downloaded it from.
But I have it.
How can I get it to you?

Thanks. I have some issues with the device as well so this may help me.
You can upload them at "https:// uploadfiles .io " (spaces are to let me post a url, just remove them) and then post the download link here or pm me.
For your issue i would try and connect the pink wire (brake sensor) to ground permanently if you haven't done that already.
If this doesn't help i would try to connect the brown to the ground as well. It shouldn't affect the unit in any way but since it is not standard connectivity you do it at your own responsibility.
P.S. there are two brown wires. the second is the steering wheel control input. There should be a sticker at the bottom of the device to help you identify which is for what.
If not let me know and I can send you a photo from mine.

Thanks for the file.
I uploaded an image here https:// ibb. co/bFOgxn
full size picture
It shows what each cable is for. I have also circle the two cables I suggest you connect to ground (parking, backup camera)
My reasoning for suggesting grounding the backup camera cable is because these cables usually have a pull down resistor internally
to keep the signal to 0V until 12v are connected (camera activated). If this pull down resistor is not working correctly, then connecting this cable to the ground signal can resolve the issue.
I hope this helps.
I tested your update btw. It is still android 5.1.1 but I prefer the visuals of this version so thanks for this.
Unfortunately it didn't fix the issue i have with this device. The sound is not coming out properly. It may be a HW issue but it doesn't hurt to try.
Can i bother you for a setting from your device? It's in the factory settings. (You can set your car logo from there as well if you haven't done that already)
Settings > Factory Settings (passcode is 1983) > Second Button from the left > Hardware Testing (swipe right to get there) > De-Sense > PLLs > AUDPLL
Mine is set to -1 but i believe that's wrong.
I also have a problem with mine SWM8802 unfortunately it is now in a reboot loop and I do not know how to get it out there
you have said that you updated yours how did you do it or where did you get the ROM from?

solved
I removed the pin number 2, the one from the antenna, and it works perfectly.
I have looked at the settings you mention to me and it says -1.
Thank you very much.
Whatever you need, ask for it.
A user send it to me. Here is a copy (just remove the spaces). But i used the update option in the settings. I don't know how you could apply it if your device is in a boot loop.

Hello! I have been looking for help on this SWM8802. I do apologize in advance if this is a threadjack. I don't know if you have the same issue but when I turn on the radio and switch to another source - the radio is still playing. That and a hiss in the background (that doesn't increase or decrease in volume but does turn off at volume0).
I got a host of other question (why does it only have Key1 - where's key 2?)
My HU has Android 7.1 BTW - at least that what it says on the information page on the machine.

One thing I can tell you there is no Android 7.1 installed because we were all ripped off.
because the Build.prop was manipulated Actually, on this device Android 4.4.1 installed

Guys I have a AL-C0241 and I just installed Malaysk's firmware.
I stupidly did not check my MCU type before hand, thinking that I would keep the existing MCU if I only updated the image.
Everything seemed to install fine, but when I look in the about tablet section, the first few lines are blank, including the MCU
And now I am getting no sound from the radio. Everything else including the wifi and GPS seems to be working OK, but no sound is a problem.
Can anyone tell me the original MCU code of the AL-C0241 ? This is the autopumpkin 7 inch with no buttons on it, just a flat screen.
you can see my entries on the wiki, it's there

So I think mine is bricked now.
After loading Malaysk 3188/1024 firmware I no longer have:
*sound
*gps
*radio
Still working
*wifi
Any idea what I should do to try and fix it? I tried a few things with the reset button but was unable to achieve factory reset. Should I start trying some of the available MCUs?
Ask Pumpkin to send you an image file of your MCU and Firmware. I just send them an email requesting the same for my unit. I told them that I wanted to back it up and can't unless I am rooted.
Let's see what happens.

Worth a try, I will do that.
Would it be possible to get an image of the stock SD card and use that to revert to factory? perhaps nleitao can take a copy of his if he still has access to the insides of his unit?
I'm pretty annoyed with myself, hopefully I don't have to buy another!

Just found a couple of youtube videos, from the official pumpkin channel "pumpkin car stereo support" where they show a software and MCU update for the AL-C0241 !
No download link however! Search AL-C0241 on you tube if interested.
Also checked their blog, no update there
edit: Can't test their firmware because my USBs no longer work, along with most of my hardware.
Its not looking good for me :| Maybe I can find a way to get them working on Malaysk's rom but it's a bit of a catch 22. I can get internet access on the device, however, so all hope is not lost.

Sorry guys I have no results as yet, got a bit busy last night
I have to rig up a molex connector so I can power the device up while im inside my house, it should be as simple as connecting the yellow 12v rail and the earth to the harness, so hopefully I will be able to inform you of results before long
Thanks for the support
Fixed!
Thanks for all the help
I used the ROM posted earlier in this thread and the internal SDslot and I eventually got everything working again, I much preferred Malaysk's ROM but couldn't manage to get the MCU updated until after I did the ROM update.
I now have alex v1.1.5 however, I used to have v1.1.7, so that's kinda annoying but I can't see the difference right now anyway. I will write to auto pumpkin and try to get the latest image.
I was also not able to get it to power up using my computer power supply. I connected the 12v to the 12v and the earth to the earth but it wouldn't fire up, super annoying.
Now I am just going to enjoy using it for a while

You should had connect the red and the yellow to the 12v...
My apologies to the OP for the kind of hijack but I believe this is the thread with most info for this radio.
I'm having problems with my radio. The screen seems to have a bad contact somewhere, making it complete useless to try to work with it. The odd thing is it never happens in the first 20 minutes ater a cold start. Does someone have an idea what is happening here?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMCrWkFdd0I
Second problem. I'm completely unable to pair the radio's Bluetooth with whatever devices. I just cant start the pairing process from the radio side.

thanks in advance

That screen flicker doesn't look good Is your warranty void due to opening the device? Could be a hardware fault.
As for the bluetooth pairing, I think mine just worked the first time and I haven't looked at it since. I will have another look later and see if mine is doing the same thing

Thanks for your feedback.
We're so sorry for the inconvenience and trouble.
1) Firstly sorry for my wrong info about the instruction before, for this new Android product, currently it has no searching function in the built-in Bluetooth. About dropping the built-in Bluetooth app to pair the Bluetooth OBDII with other Bluetooth app, sorry we did not test it before and not sure the operation. However, this product can directly pair the the Wifi OBDII which is tested by us
2) Regarding this issue, frankly we didn't meet it before, if you're good at electronic, it's ok to open the radio by removing screws around the frame then check out the inside connection and we would still promise the warranty.
If we can be of any assistance, please feel free to tell us,thank you!
Best regards,
Colin

So two things I learned. The crappy Bluetooth App can't connect to other devices. The second is I still have warranty after open the cover and check the internal cables.
Yeah, I suspect hardware fault. It only start happening after 20, 25 minutes after power up. something heats up and puff...
After I installed Lineage os 14.1 and GApps on my Samsug S5, it works just fine. Just one problem however:
Every now and then, my phone hangs, with a blue screen that only shows date and time. Nothing goes anymore, only the removal of the battery and restarting again can get the phone out of this "hang" state.
Is this a know "feature" with lineage os on the s5? And, better, is there a solution for this problem?
I have a screenshot of this blue screen, but I did not find the option to add a picture to this post...

For helping! I disabled flip cover (in German Settings "Einstellungen - Klapphülle") and hope, that's the solution.
However, today I also installed my new SIM card, but I'm quite sure the flip cover thing is the real reason.

Mine does the same thing too. It did it on 16 and now 17. My mom has 18 and it does it on hers too. I can't find anything like what you suggested - I see smart Lock but no smart cover or flip cover. I searched flip, cover, smart. Please help! My mother's "new" ST has done it 4 times already in less than a day and she's getting REALLY frustrated. Please help!!! Thank you! ?
Same Problem. Phone is off since the last blue screen
It happened to me as well. with samsung S5 and Lineage installed. Since it happened the last time I removed the battery "as usual" and since then I can not turn it on again. It starts with the samsung-logo and then the lineage "starting"-meme is moving, but nothing happens. It´s like it´s stuck. HELP!!!
Anyone any ideas?
Thank you!
I was struggling to find this on LineageOS 16.
Found it in Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > Smart Cover
Turn it off via the toggle at the top!
We'll see how it goes! Thanks!
Same problem on linage 16, now it seems to be solved disabling the ''smart cover'' under Settings > Connected devices > Connection preferences > Smart Cover.
Thanks to all
Dear community
I have a Zenfone3 and after update to stock Android 8 (via OTA) the 3.5mm headphone jack is no longer recognized by the phone. I thought it needed a reset, so I made a factory reset and the result is the same. Then I thought it was a hardware issue but is not. I downloaded an app called Sound About but it didn't work, then I downloaded Audio Router and it worked! There is sound in the headphones!!! :highfive:
The downside is that I don't really know how to configure it so I have to manually switch between audio jack and "speaker" so i can take calls without the headphones (some times i dont have the hands free headphone).
I have to say that in any case the Bluetooth works fine not problem at all. But my question remains: what could be wrong in that Oreo update that I need an external app to have headphones working???
I hope someone has found a real fix for this or maybe until next stock update? Thanks and have a nice day!

Exactly the same situation for my Zenfone. Headphone plugging and unplugging is not detected. I started using an app called Audio Output Switch which has a homescreen widget for switching between headphones and speaker.
I feel like it's a hardware problem as it's been the same across different roms and android versions.
In Samsung I used SoundAbout and the problem seemed temporary. However, Asus headphone port seems to be quite easily exposed to dust, so I cleaned up inside of headphone jack with cottonbud with a bit of alcohol (be careful it might get caught inside). Wipe cache partition might also help.

I have to say that in any case the Bluetooth works fine not problem at all. But my question remains: what could be wrong in that Oreo update that I need an external app to have headphones working???
I hope someone has found a real fix for this or maybe until next stock update? Thanks and have a nice day!

I agree with the first reply, you should bring this up with Asus in their ZenTalk forums. They could solve your problem in their next update if it came to their attention, I like to think it helped in my case.
I had a similar problem with my ZE520KL back on Nougat, the 3.5mm jack would work on every other use - it would detect headphones one moment and then it won't in the next. Though it was all fixed with the Oreo update, kinda the opposite of your situation.
The mods at ZenTalk do usually respond and commit solutions to people, so good luck to you.

Exactly the same situation for my Zenfone. Headphone plugging and unplugging is not detected. I started using an app called Audio Output Switch which has a homescreen widget for switching between headphones and speaker.
I feel like it's a hardware problem as it's been the same across different roms and android versions.

I will try that app in the mean time. As they said, it is a good idea to bring this issue to the Asus forums. Hoping they take this seriously because this phone is a great one!
I can confirm that Audio Router fixed the problem for me too.
Same here! Had to install Lesser Audio Switch to be able to use my headset again.
Hope Asus fix this soon.

Actually, I think I found out what is happening.
Go to Settings -> Sounds -> AudioWizard
First time you open that, it will ask for PERMISSION! After it was given, my phone resumed to recognize the headsets when connected.
Best regards!

Mine is also same model and same problem iam using *Lesser audio switch* to use headphones
It is almost a great head unit wit dsp and optical out, but have some problems:
- the music app is terrible, first of all the folders/track are showed not in alphabetical order
- the home screen cannot be changed
How could be replaced the stock music app, with similar music user friendly/modded music app like in Hal9k's px5 rom have?
How could it be rooted?
Thanks if anybody could help...
Here's everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask (Open it with chrome and you should get the translation). Did you take any pictures of the insides of your HU I'm curious to see how they added a toslink to it.

ROOT
Does anyone have success with this magisk procedure?
http://icar.vn/forum/threads/huong-dan-root-dau-android-ownice-c960.3115/
In the thread no one says "success!" or "thank you!" like that, I want to get root but I'm scared of breaking my device.
And unfortunately I can't speak Vietnamese.
Attach an image showing my device's system. Thank you!
Hello; i just got this unit. I have not installed it yet.
Have you resolved your issues with it?
On which car have you installed it?
Cheers,

Ownice K6 SC9853
Hi! i bought an Ownice K6 SC9853 media but I completely stopped it, the image is normal but the interface is virtually inverted, I can't handle it normally. i want a hard reset but it won't restart, how is a total reboot possible?
Thanks!
Como podré reset en modo recovery para revivirlo se me a quedado frizado y no pasa del logo de Android
Help me please. With the Ownice K6 radio tape recorder, the device worked fine for 1.5 years, then it started. The problem is rebooted every minute and during the reboot the radio works and the volume is adjusted. Then a minute of normal work again reboots and so on in a circle.
What did I do for the solution:
1. flashed it with my native firmware. (which I received from the seller immediately after purchase)
2. I was flashing it with firmware from the seller SysSoftware_C960_K6_20200721.153132_OLS1 (I turned strangely after a year and a half and he sent a pistol the next day)
3. I was flashing the MCU) I also got it from him without any questions)
4. Installed a fan for cooling.
5. Disconnect everything from the radio except the power supply.
the result is the same reboot every minute.
can anyone come across a similar one or knows where to find a discussion of a similar problem.

No, it's not enough, maybe you ave problems of battery. On mine, after U played about 3 hours with the HU in the car without start the engine, it beniged to shut down, I started and it shut down; after I understood the the battery was discharged.
Without 12,5 volts or more, it didn't work(and it's normal).

Hey guys. My partner has just purchased a second hand Hikity. I have installed it, factory reset it then connected it to my phones hot-spot to update all the apps.
The only problem we're having now is the damn thing ain't turning off when the ignition is off and I cannot find the canbus protocol for a Citroën Xsara Picasso.
I updated the firmware, everything is now in chinese and none of the google apps now work. Does anyone have the english firmware these things originally came with.
According to the information on the System Info section:
Model: F9212B
XY Auto: 7.3.7 (X2)
MCU 4.2 (X2)
CAN Pro: 9.0.2
Android 10
Posting here to see if anyone can help with these issues.

Any firmware update resets all settings and you need to set it first to your language in the settings.
Then you need to connect your unit again with the google account before using them.

Seems to be a quite special issue on your system.
May be wait for someone who is familiar with your special device.
In the mean time, you should have a look at this thread. May be you find something in there.
By the way: The not turning off issue is related to wrong installation. You need to check clamp 15 and clamp 30.
If you don´t have the right CAN-box you even won´t be able to get anything from the car.

It doesn't have a CAN-box, it does the CAN bus straight through the unit. What is clamp 15 and clamp 30?

I search the forum but nobody seems to have the stock firmware for my model of Android unit as its version is 7.3.7, I cannot downgrade it to a previous version.
Right OK. Finally got the correct firmware after many hours of using Google translate. It works to a certain degree but the physical buttons on the unit do not work at all. Any ideas on how I get them to work again.

There should be a page in the settings of the unit where you can set the physical buttons. Mostly hidden behind a special pin. You may ask in the related threads for your unit if you don´t know the pin already.
I've got in to that setting but when holding the correct buttons down, I keep getting study failed error.

I think you don´t have the right firmware for your unit then.
Then I'm stumped. I can get it in to recovery mode but with no physical unit buttons and the USB keyboard not being recognised I am unable to factory reset it completely. I'm struggling to locate the original Xyauto stock firmware it came with.
what password do you used for the factory settings?
