Compatibility mode, run as admin, you can also try with another source of adb files, because I had issues with the one from magisk manager.
Not working for me

My device is not listed in fastboot devices. However it can be seen in adb mode. I have tried doing:-
1)entering in fasboot manually as well as via "adb reboot bootloader" command.
2)Updating drivers or installing them manually(tried several of them, but none works)
List of drivers that i have tried
1.Universal adb driver by koushik dutta
2.Samsung adb driver
3.Google sdk drivers
4. Installing some random unsigned driver(Last method done)
Please help me i want to revert back to miui by flashing it clean via Flash tool but device isnt detected what to do?

Yes..i do use windows 10....the solution that worked for me this time is to delete every driver of my phone present in my pc and connecting it....by every driver i mean each and every one(inclusive of adb and fastboot and also usb drivers)...so pc installs a driver by itself and surprisingly it works

Download Adb and fastboot.rar from google.
Extract it to desktop.
Then install Miflash , downloaded from google.
And for fastboot watch video from youtube.
If you are again unable to found or for any type of help.
I'll provide you the files with the video.

hello, i have problem fastboot mode, it detect my phone but in device manager not Identify the device. only show (!Android)
but in adb it detect when turn on devices. i want unlockbootloader to install custom rom
MOD can close this thread. done by install driver Android device to Android bootloader interface (windows 10 pro)
I am a Noob, trying to unlock the boot loader on ny Redmi 2 Pro. However I get the following message when using the MiFlash Unlock, downloaded form the MI site.:
Couldn't unlock
Device basic data verification failed. This device couldn't be unlocked.
I have created a Mi Account, signed into it on both my phone and laptop.
I want to install a lightweight ROM with only the Google apps that I really use, and according to my research, this is the first step before installing TWRP.
Any idea why I get this error?
You don't have to!, There's NO bootloader lock on Redmi 2/2prime/2pro, it's unlocked since out of the box.

Thank you xehed!
Do you perhaps know where one can find the correct Win 10 x64 drivers for the Redmi 2 Pro?
I have visited the Xiaomi Geek website and downloaded the Xiaomi Redmi 2/2A/2 Prime/2 Pro ADB drivers but when I run the adb device command it does not seem to find my device.
I have enabled Developer Tools and enabled USB Debugging, booted into Fastboot Mode (Power and Volume Down), plugged it in and ran the command, but nothing.
Does one need to root the phone first before running ADB commands as well as installing TWRP?
Any ideas?
*EDIT*
When I run the ADB command "adb devices" it says:
List of devices attached
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
and then just goes back to c:\adb>
In Control Panel under hardware it says "Android Phone" and then under that "Android Bootloader Interface"
I think I have won... My nerves! lol

You can install/flash twrp through device itself, no need to use PC.
Nice
I'm dumbfounded. I have unlocked bootloaders and rooted for years. Just got my OP8P.
I also have a new Microsoft Surface Pro with Windows 10.
I installed ADB, installed Fastboot.
Unlocked developer options and turned on USB Debugging and Developer Unlock.
Windows device manager shows ADB INTERFACE for the my device in device manager.
I can open can open Power Shell and/or the CMD prompt. I've done both.
I can type adb devices in the command prompt and I CAN see my device.
I can reboot it fastboot from the CMD prompt so I KNOW Wndows sees my phone.
BUT ONCE I'M IN FASTBOOT, the problem starts.
Fastboot does NOT see my device. Commands return the words "Waiting for Device..."
I BELIEVE the issue is with the drivers. When I boot into Fastboot, my device location changes in Device Manager from USB>ADB Interface to Portable Devices>Android.
The Android Device icon has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark. It's says the driver for this device is not installed. But everything was working fine and the drivers were fine while the device was powered up normally.
If I try to manually install the driver it fails and says "cannot update drivers for your Android".
What heck is going on? What did I do wrong?
I've uninstall and reinstalled the drivers direct from Oneplus. I've uninstall and reinstalled the drivers direct from Google. 'I ve uninstall and reinstalled the drivers direct from Windows.
Why can't device and drivers be recognized in Fastboot. And why can't I update the drivers for the "Android" device?
