With my shiny new bronze China Unicom Z3 winging its way over to me as I type this, I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for those of us who are picking up the China Unicom and Mobile variants. This will hopefully create a centralized place for people to share firmwares, root solutions, methods of installing GApps, recoveries and the like. Any useful files/ROMS/etc found by users, please post below!

Aren't you guys missing gapps? It's about 4300 yuans. You guys have any idea when the Hong Kong version will be available?

Hong Kong version already selling, I've got Z3 (Silver green color) from SONY STORE Hong Kong this week. Besides Z3, SONY HK also sells Z3 Dual.

Nice good to know, I figured out how much it is, too bad they don't ship it to main land China.
I paid 3888 yuan for it, which is about 380 GB or so. Finally arrived this morning! China Unicom, dual sim version - and the best part of it all is that it accepted the HK dual sim flash no problems! Thats the D6633 version of the firmware.
This means that I now have Google Play, Playstation app and all the rest of it, fully unlocked!
First impressions of the phone are great. I'm coming from the Z2, and it feels very different in the hand, but still familiar. Screen is gorgeous. I'll post further thoughts once I have played with it for a while.

So you don't have any radio issues? Cause I was thinking of getting it too.
So you got L55u and flashed D6633 firmware on it, amazing. Last time I remember it did not work with Xperia Z2. :highfive:
None at all.
The signal is actually better than my old Z2 - it works in my apartment building's elevator, which my HK Z2 didn't.
So far the phone is lightning fast, uber responsive, and has had no problem with either the Google Play Store, or the Playstation app. I'm in love.

Hey can you give us the link where you purchased?
It's from a Chinese website, I'm pretty sure they don't deliver out of the country (I'm on the mainland)

I am thinking of getting the L55t (China Mobile).
Are there any information about root/cwm yet? Did anybody contact Doomlord over this issue?

I think the L55t is kinda unique since it is only for China Mobile and it uses only TD for 3G and 4G.
According to this post zhe D6633 is compatible to L55u (China Unicom) for sure:

Hi Guys, I have just purchased the L55t and I want to flash non Chinese firmware on it.
Has anyone managed to flash the L55t with firmware made for the D6603 model such as firmware version 23.0.A.2.98?
If not does anyone have any firmware that works on the L55t that they have tested?

did you try flashing the D6633 firmware onto the L55t? if so did it work?

Hay just got GT i9505 it turned on everything works. Then i turned the phone off and put the SIM card in it and since i did it the phone wont turn on by any way nothing comes while normal starting or recovery or download mode it doesnt even charge now. the charger is ok. Phone charged too while it was on so charging port is not broken.
Have i bricked my phone cause i wanted to put SIM in it XD?

How can I get Huawei ID? every time i try to sign up with an email i get an error message about my geographical location. I am assuming you cant get Huawei ID for Australia
Its available only on the regions like China and Middle East. Registered with a Kuwait number.
You can set Huawei id only while using your pc, when you are trying to do it on your phone the geographical blockage always appears. When you'll try to do it on your pc it all will be in Chinese SO you have to have google translator.

Thanks for the link to download firmware.
It is useless.
I tried by email and after few attempts it's gone. I had to send and receive couple of email to veryfied account etc
Had to do it a few times but make sure you cl8ck verify number. It will send you a code and then an email link.

I got the same problem Ill tell you how i did it.
I've got brand new mate 8 directly from china (better price - lower about 40% than on my market). I couldnt register my account. Luckly - my GF's got Huawei P9 lite (from polish store) with account that I've created for her and ... it works also on my Mate 8. Maybe some of your friend has phone from your country and can let you to create an account on his phone and then just log in on your device.

I didn't have the Huawei ID option on my phone, but after installing HiGame through the play store and clicking on login there it magically appeared everywhere... was able to register a dutch ID successfully even though it's not supposed to be out in the netherlands.

fyi you need to install hiCare from google play and then open it, it will prompt you to install huawei ID on your phone.
DEEP SLEEP İSSUE !
my s6 edge+ came with deep sleep issue and I want to fix it with root which is fixed but when i restart the phone its stuck on the samsung logo and saying ' custom binary locked by frp ' so I had little panic but i fixed with download original fireware on sammobile and install with odin and now The deep sleep issue is back I wonder Why ı got Frp locked ?? the battery was soo good on root but the now sleep:0 ( n/s) again please help I wanted to solve this issue
Switch off UNLOCK OEM in developer options and should be OK.

I have tried to downgrade my a3 2016 from Nougat to marshmallow, unfortunatelly after downgrade device requires password to run.
I have tried to use PIN for SIM card or PIN for device protection.
I also found that default_password could be the solution, but it is not.
Anyone has idea how to pass through this password or maybe make downgrade anothe way ?
