Hi guys, in shy from Holland.
My uncle had given me a android tv box.
Its a crappy thing that not uses android like the normal way.
IT has a os on in from Mickey hop.
Mickey hop doesnt excist anymore, so i have to figur this out without help from Them.
The Mickey os doesnt let me install anything, and also cant remove stuff.
I Just want a clean android, but IT seems impossible.
I tried a factory reset , but IT always ended up by the os of Mickey hop.
Can you guys advise me what to do or to install?

On my neotouch android doesn't boot. It stays on this:

The only reason i would want android is a bunch of games ported for this system. Android for games and WinMob for everything else. and all this stuff in one device. that would be nice

Why do I have blue screen after 10 seconds working of it?
Because there are many problems to resolve to use android on our s200...The os is not alredy usable like in htc hd2,and our device is not supported like the htc one.So maybe the project for s200 is end.I wish i could use android in my phone,but maybe i will never see a usable interface

Sadly theres no kernel/android dev that has an s200, so android partly working on it might never happen, unless a dev picks it up and starts making patches/fixes for the kernel.
Not so good if you think that s200 and hd2 project started togheter,but hd2 after 1 month has a usable android or ubuntu release and our s200 has only a not usable android "desktop".Our device is not supported by comunity as hd2,so correct me if i m wrong,but i think no one still working on android s200 release
Ok guys it has been a month since first post, anyone reckon this is going somewhere? who was developing this in the first place? I am willing and ready to help in any way I can (I have stated this before) if necessary. I have a working s200, but no experience in linux programming, although I could learn some basics if needed.
Maybe we could send some android devs a pm? I mean how hard can it be if our hardware is so similar to the Liquid, AND we already have it running on our processor...?
I have seriously considered leaving the s200 and getting an HD2 by now...

It s a really hard porting job...Hd2 owner has a good partialy stable android port,but as you all know there's 20 times hd2 then s200.The problem on our phone is the restricted comunity support
Well, it seems that when I got my s200 broken nobody raised the banner from my cold hands
Now my device is up and running again, and maybe i'll try to do something more... don't expect ts to work in android, as it's completely functional via tslib, and i don't know droid's architecture to determine why this PoS of an OS can't use it... if you really want it guys, why don't you experiment with sequence of input_abs_* functions within ts worker thread in driver ? There're so many *experts* who make ROMs via kitchens or do fancy icons/pictures - take up your time and learn C / linux kernel... I started with barely basic knowledge of the first (and I was lucky with the fact that there're many pre-coded drivers that simply needed some testing, or with semi- or fully-compatible initialization (many thanks to dcordes, Cotulla and the team))

I'm not sure which one but the one we use for racing games and tilting the screen.
when I play a racing game, I hold my tablet straight, and the car always moves to the right. and not just one game but all games.
So i tried contacting acer here in Australia but no reply to my emails,,,And I try to live chat with them on the American website but they always kick me out.
Can someone please tell me a solution or someone in America contact them for me

from another thread I seen that someone used GPS and status utility from market to calibrate those sensors.don't remember the obut I agree with the guys above.patients ALREADY.

Are you rooted. If so what modifications.
When did you notice it messing up.
Have you tried to do a factory reset.
Basic diagnosis tools that could help you.the more you explain a issue on here the more curious you will get some people to help.

Thanks for helping.... It turned out that I was using some crap games from the market,,,,I downloaded games, like need for speed shift and raging thunder and everything is fine now thanksss.
But if you really want to help me, please try downloading a game called wave blazer lite.
And tell how it runs on your tablet.
Most accel./gyro sensor required games that don't work with your tablet are made specifically for phones. You can get away with using phone apps for tablets usually but there's a very high chance that phone games requiring the accel. or gyro won't work for tablets by design, even with calibration inside the game itself, though there are a quite few exceptions.
The only suggestion I can make is to advise you to specifically look for tablet designed games for now. If you like a game, write the dev. asking them if they plan to release a tablet friendly version anytime soon.
acer iconia tilt problem
I had the same problem. On the side of your iconia there is a tiny pinhole with reset beside it. Use a pin or paper clip. Push once and fixed. Won't erase any info neither. I can now fly my FA18 app again!:fingers-crossed:

I am a little paranoid these days. Mobile phones checking where you go
to the toilet, making photos while you're driving. I just do not feel comfortable
with this idea. I know it is almost impossible to change this, but i feel like i want
to.
I am completely new to the whole android world, and i do not know how this is
put together.
Things i do know is that there is a boot lock which protects the device from
running other roms.
What i want here is i would like someone to explain to me if it is possible to
exploit my device, to get root access but not for the device it self. I do not want my
device to run in root mode all the time for security issues, i just want to manually
remove some apps and maybe configure iptables etc. Also i would like to backup the
original software that is installed.
Maybe there are already roms like this ?

well Yeah.. so i bought this stick just now on ebay thinking it should be good enought to give away for streaming some live tv and so on, but
this had obviously the WIFI problem and there i was..
Not beeing able to use WIFI i started to search for different roms and after a couple days constantly searching HOW TO- and downloading different ROMS and watching youtube on how to flash i set up to the task once again..
Beeing able to flash both Nvidia tablets, Samsung Telephones, and Xiaomi i felt confident that i would be able to fix this..
But no, i had a couple different roms that started up With start screen but then that was it, nothing more i couldnt get past start boot logo on either of the 3 roms i thought was correct so i startd to search for same chip roms as this has the 3229 rockchip and the AS something number wifichip..
But then after flashing With a unknown rom it wouldnt start up again or even get recogniced by the computer usb again..
I tried the reset button, i tried shortcutting pin 6-7 and most likely all other as well but no Luck..
There is a blue light but its only halfway as Bright as when the stick was ON and working.
So its like its stuck in some low Power recovery or i dont know..
At least it lights up when i plug it in.
this is the stick With the red "plastic antenna"
Its not an antenne after all by lokking at it but maybe it serves some purpose of making People think its an antenna..
Any suggestions will be apreciated as now i consider it as Waste and after just spending 35 USD on it i would like it to at least get it back so i can sideload some games on it and give it away rather than putting it in the trashcan..

Hi.
I think I have the same device as you. And also I tried to flash another rom without success, so until I find a good rom, its just a small brick.
I also been in the same situation as you, but you have to short pins 7-8 to revive. Its the pins facing the middle of the device, and counting from the device edge/side.

No, i have had no luck. Piece of **** device.
Got 80% refund from seller after a couple weeks of complaining.
Just throw it away and buy a ZAPPATI media player or a Nvidia shield if you dont use any 3D.

I also have an mk809iv. I couldn't get developer options to show after tapping build number but it said "no need you are already a developer" (I assume its preunlocked?) I got bored and decided to flash a rom. I have the rockchip factory tool and rockchip batch tool. I tried flashing an update and the problems began lol
OK..... The stick now doesn't have a blue led on AT All. Tried original mains power source different USB cables different ports on laptop etc.
When I connect it to the TV it doesn't show up on the hdmi. Have I really fried it properly ?
Is there a way to use command on pc or adb shell or something to unlock the bootloader. In batch tool I can see the device after shorting pin 6/7 method but when I load firmware and start to flash then it comes up with failed at boot every time and on different versions of the tool.
I rooted the device before with King root (not king o root) and flashed supersu via rom installer app. Assuming that developer options are open by default, the device should be rooted now...... Right? ?
Anyway is there a way to uninstall all the software and reinstall the manufacturers firmware via the pc ? I have included pics of the board, but when looking at other people's pics the have a lot more chips and nand chips etc mine has one chip on the back and on the other side what I presume to be a heat sync (look like a bit of a tin can

The fire tv box bueller kicked my @##.
I originally bought one because I wanted to attempt unlocking and rooting , and
be able to hopefully enjoy the original firmware menu , since I hated the redesign
after 5.3 .
since mastering the fire tv box Sloane , I figured sure how hard can it be .
Well ,
Every single thing actually went wrong that I couldn't believe it.
This was a fresh sealed old new stock and was still new in box from 2014 ,
however that put me between a rock and a hard place mainly because of how
Amazon purposely writes their os fire code .
Since fire tv box bueller can't be easily hardware unlocked and rooted ,
you have to jump thru many hoops just to even software unlock and
gain control of the device.
First off , adb was not working for me at all ,
But I suspect this was mostly newer Linux distro versions not playing well ,
along with windows 11 completely blocking any adb signal from even
being sent back and forth .
So that was rock number 1 .
Then rock number 2 was that bueller firmware was so ancient that anything I would
try to attempt just with installing apk packages wouldnt work either .
matter of fact it was apparent that Amazon knows your pretty much trapped into
letting the device just update so it could just function.
could I have waited , tried more , taken my time step by step to
finally achieve software root and unlock on this Virgin honey of a box ,
maybe ,
However my patience was up with this dinosaur and I wasn't about to pull
another all nighter just so this dumb box could beat me again .
In the end I realized that with the usage of the efuse that Amazon
embeds in its code , and even the firmware just not being compatible anymore on
anything that old ,
The best thing I could do is just let crappy fire tv bueller update firmware..
I already have fire tv 2 , and even though the efuse was engaged and won't allow
running firmware lower than 5.6.4 ,
I also realized that even if I could install and run the original fire os 5.0
firmware, it wouldn't matter because that firmware pretty much no longer works.
So their you have it .
Rock and multiple hard places , but I'm glad though at least my fire tv Sloane
is hardware unlocked and rooted .
as for fire tv bueller ,
you can say bueller is definitely not my cup of tea .
