Hi there! Unfortunately, i never got VoLte working on any rom besides miui and aosp 5.0. K kept on following all the guides found here and there for the fix but never got Volte working. At first i thought i'n the only one unlucky but there were some other users too like me searching for a fix. If you're the one then follow this guide to get Volte working on Nougat roms.:fingers-crossed:
Note: Make sure to follow the exact same procedure.
Prerequisites:-
Efs backup of Miui mm
cm14 firmware link - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=385035244224398629
cm13 modified radios link-https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_oG85LcjcuRbE1mQ25MMmYxYVU/view
Any Volte supported Nougat Rom
Steps
First flash miui mm rom and let it boot. If you see Volte then reboot to recovery and make efs backup (use alka or zcx recovery).
Now clean flash any Nougat rom i flashed RR 5.8.0, then flash gapps and flash cm14 firmware and reboot.
(IMPORTANT STEP) If Volte is not working for you then reboot to recovery and flash cm13 modified radios (no need to wipe anything) and then finally restore efs and reboot.
Now you'll see hd icon but no service in sim 2 since we flashed cm13 radios. So, now do this final step. Now reboot to recovery and flash again cm14 firmware and then restore efs and reboot.
Now you will get Volte working and sim2 too.

I'm sorry but it seems Aoscp rom doesn't support volte by default. It needs to be patched. Volte patch for different roms is available here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/volte-patches-nougat-based-cm-roms-t3509257
If still Volte is not working for you then follow my guide. It's just a guide to get volte working for some users for those volte wasn't working.

Well aoscp does support volte in a test buid which the dev posted in the thread. It has not been added in OP yet. Anyways, I tried this guide but didn't work for me.
please hlp
i tried almost every thing avilable on xda and miui forms ... follow the exact thing on the guids ..but no luck ho... really fed up can any one help me???? tried al most all roms avail on xda which supports volte but no luck
Volte in sim2? R u sure??
Didn't worked...I had the efs backup of 6.11.3 version miui so didnt flashed it...n followed the procedure as mentioned but no success.
Volte works flawlessly on 7.1.0 version ROMs n not on 7.1.1 versions ROMs (for me)
Can me tell me what you modified with cm 13 radios zip .u deleted others except modem aka Non-Hlos.bin.also flashing cm 14 firmware and restoring efs again cause no volte issue except on official rr and Abhishek's cm and santhosh cm.
First of all Happy new year!
Here is orignal thread but since we got our own Forum, I am making a new one.
I Own Lenovo k5 plus (a6020a46 2 GB Indian variant). In India VoLTE is important for us, We have many Custom ROM thanks to
@scritch007, @Shreps and @Dreamstar, @Luiz Paulo Damaceno for kernels.
So it is polite request to all devs, please make VoLTE compatible with Custom ROM.
Here is captured OTA of VoLTE of device A6020a46 2GB
GDrive, Filedropper
Thanks to @brajesh143 for OTA
On Side Note, I extract zipped folder and there is file named 'NON-HLOS.bin.p' under firmware update folder.
I googled and found to enable VoLTE we need to flash 'NON-HLOS.bin.p' with fastboot , which I think is modem/radio.
I need expert advice on this.

No aosp rom supports ViLTE. May be developers can help to enable this feature in future.
Can't use VoLTE in lineage 14.1 on lenovo a6020
Its a super cool os but I'm stuck the VoLTE issue. In India VoLTE is a major feature as we use a Jio sim which uses VoLTE for calling. There is an option to enable VoLTE but it doesn't matter weather it is enabled or not bacause I simply can't make a VoLTE call. It is not a Jio sim issue as in the stock rom after an OTA uodate I used to call from Jio. Any solutions? Otherwise I've to revert back to stock rom

Have you enabled Wi-Fi video calling feature? If not, do it and restart your device. That might solve your problem.

Thanks for the response?.
Yeah I tried wifi calling, but that doesn't work.
I found a solution. First you have to flash the stock rom VoLTE functionality. Then you have have to flash the custom rom. (One thing to note here that while installing the custom rom, one should not wipe the system). But still there is a problem, you have to toggle off and on the Enhanced 4G LTE mode(VoLTE) to activate VoLTE functionality. And if you turn on or off mobile data the VoLTE functionality will be gone, then again you have to do the same.

Volte issue in lineage os custom rom
I am using lenovo vibe k5 plus and have lineage OS installed in it.......but I can't use the volte feature cuz previously my stock ROM is not updated to volte (and for some reason I can't even update my stock ROM to volte ) then I flash to lineage OS in hope that volte feature might work but still it doesn't work .
NOTE : I know I can solve this problem by downloading at least 1.5 GB file of stock ROM version s105(with volte enabled ) but I don't want to waste that much time and my data only to get revert BACK TO MY STOCK ROM !!!!!!
Plzz come with a alternative method to flashing volte update or something like that?!!
So I don't need to download stock ROM file
I have twrp recovery so I can flash any flashable file ( if you might have volte update zip file I hope )
So can anyone help PLZ?
If you have any other alternative ,it will solve my GREAT PROBLEM !!
THANKS IN ADVANCE
Plz explain guy, i kaafi wanna know after i flash custom is everything working fine? Which rom is best for Moto x style?
No... VoLTE works just fine on most ROM's including stock, unless your carrier is Jio, then it is not supported in the modem firmware (yet), your actual installed ROM is not relevant as long as it supports VoLTE. There are rumors there might be a Nougat "patch" to enable it, but I would put that in the realm of hopeful user's wishes rather than truth.
If the Moto G 2015 is any indication, once it is working in stock with stock modem firmware, developers can likely get it working in custom ROMs but it might take some time (it took nearly a year to get it working in that device after the device supported it)
Flashed miui8 rom on my moto g4 plus nogut.
Everything went smoothly but as soon as it reched the configurations screen it blacked out.
Need some urgent help!!
I guess it doesn't have anything to do with flashing after nougat or marshmallow.
They recommend to install through MM because MIUI is 6.0 but this error (screen blackening out) occurs in both cases (at least with me and some other users).
This happens to some people (me included), they still don't know why. Happens to me ever since the 1st version released of MIUI to the last one available.
I unlocked my phone then flashed recovery by a rooting method provided on this forum. After getting 64bit recovery and root access I flashed PixelExperience Rom 64 bit on which i didn't checked if i had Volte working.
Now after changing several other roms (64bit Oreo) I m now on NitrogenOS without Volte working.
I haven't downgraded to stock after updating to oreo so why am i facing the same issue as "Volte gone forever".
I have tried voenabler magisk module and other sim changing method but nothing works.
There are people with same carrier(Jio) and same rom as me with volte calls working without issues.
Is there anything I can try? Switching to Nougat Roms would help? Will it also break Volte?
Maybe another person's EFS backup may help who has volte working on oreo?

Try switching any custom ROM apart from stock ROM, stock ROM is what broke VoLTE.
Nitrogen had VoLTE problems in the past builds but the latest build has fixed that so also check if you're on the latest Nitrogen.
Changing to nougat custom ROM will break volte?

I am having the exact same problem. I flashed RR Rom but after that I flashed back the stock rom and bricked my phone after installing an update. Although I recovered my phone and now I am using PixelExperience Rom but the Volte is not working.
I was able to fix, for the most part anyways, voLTE using the method described here:
Solved-volte-fix-lost-flashing-stock-rom <-Should be a link, but the forums are a bit crap.
8m now back in RR 8 1 with voLTE working. I lose it about once a day, but a restart fixes it.
Slightly annoying, but solely the fault of Lenovorola dragging their feet with regards to offocial Oreo on our devices. Their updated ROM should take care of any libgering issues from the move to 64-Bit. Unless they're straight up incompetent and fail to issue a proper fix for us.
