Hello, i have my phone for over 2 years now and battery provide barely half the time it provided when it was new. I m considering to replace the battery. Does anyone know a place where i can buy a good battery? Doesn t need to be OEM, just to hold charged at least the way the original one did. From what i saw on aliexpress/ebay/amazon, most bl255 batteries are fake ones that claim to be like original but die very fast. From my research i found at least this manufacturer, Cameron Sino that produces replacement batteries that hold the same as original http://www.bigupbattery.com/Lenovo-BL255-Zuk-Z1-Battery-p/batt-009432.htm . What do you think? Anyone tried to change battery on zuk z1?
My zuk z1 died after 6 months and not found a replacement battery just got a new phone instead but thinking of buying a new battery and have to replace the screen as it now has a deep scratch would like any info if anyone else had this happen after 6months with the device !
Hello,
I did replace my ZUK Z1 battery with one that I bought from aliexpress, and yes it holds almost like the original that died after my little baby dropped the phone.
Dear Casper Cobain, my Z1 didn't act abnormally for two years. maybe your Z1 had a special bug.

Also check negative feedback on eBay about capacity:
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...=negative&interval=180&_trkparms=negative_180
- Volume of a real, 1400 +
- Fake! original ep500 1160 mAh working 6 h, this 2430mAh battery - 3h! WTF?
- 2430mAh are not correct;battery monitor gives 1435mAh;no differents with origina
Etcetera...
-------------
Bottom line: don't buy it.
thanks dude.... sorry for not searching the threrads before new post...
i m not gonna buy it..
I've got one and it seems to work better than the original battery. Haven't had any problems. Haven't been analysing though.

my friend bought one of these batteries for your defy and lasts only 3 hours
The only brand of extended battery really works is Andida , I had one in my old N78 lasted 1-2 hours more than the original
don't buy it
My cousin got this battery , apart from the inflated capacity , it battery also leaked fluid and became inflated :crying:
same size as bf5x/hf5x, significantly higher capacity, definitely a scam, may even be dangerous.
battery chemistry hasn't evolved that much in the past few years. there's a limit on the weight&volume/capacity ratio.
avoid it.
not that good
i bought it and it's 10% her half a hour :/
Third-party batteries often lack good protective circuits. They may die unexpectedly and/or kill your phone. Be wary!
There is also a possibility that those batteries don't get fully recognized by the defy and the batteries might not charge up to 100%
thanks for the warnings.
any idea where one could get a legit replacement battery?

anyone try this ebay.com/itm/221285995275?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 battery..
I found a "2430mAh" gold battery on amazon.co.uk (also sold on ebay).
I bought one and just wanted to share that it is quite good.
If you're looking for a replacement battery, I'd suggest you buy this one. It's near 1500mAh in reality. Behaves just as when the phone (and battery) was new. I also bought a few much cheapers ones ~5-8$, but these are just a total rip-off. They're more like 500mAh.
PS: here's a review of this battery in another subforum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1419930

im in search for a battery too. can u write the ones you tried and sucked so we can have a better understanding of situation and sellers
I bought 1 battery on DX. This one was ok, but really quite bad capacity.
The other one, bought on ebay, battery + charger. Battery leaked after 3 months! Capacity was ok though.
This gold battery, is even better than I thought, now I check out my phone. I can't really compare as my original battery currently really sucks and I think it's almost dead.

Can you see the temperature of the gold battery?
currently aftter beeing in my pocket for an hour in a warm room, its 31 degrees.
after using device for 10mins it's 37 degrees.
Its similar to the official battery.
Yes it is. But it's much cheaper I think. I contacted the shop, they contacted the official repair center and got a quote of 60€ for the battery. This one cost me only 15€ including shipping.
After a second day of testing, I'm very happy. After a full day of use (~18 hours), I still had 59% of battery. That including always on Sync and 3G data, using the phone, ...
Too bad I don't have an original new battery to test it. But my guess it's a ~1500-1700mAh.

I guess Im gonna order one for my U8800 since my battery seems to be too old.
Since my original battery defected, i had to look for an replacement and found on ebay, chinese manifacturer called Gold that makes significantly higher capacity batteries in the same size as the original ones.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=gold+battery+s4&_sop=12
they advertise them at 3300mah (the original one is 2600, so that's about 25% more in the same dimensions)
naturally i find it hard to believe, so if anyone has tested any of those please enlighten me

I wouldn't buy any generic battery without any indication of Quality Control. Battery could easily overheat and cause equipment damage.
yeah well, the QC passed one got fat on the second month
brand doesn't mean much to me anymore, in the end most of the stuff is made on the same place
just the brand stuff is 10x the price, but never 10x the quality
anyway, i'm not asking for general advice on how to live and what to do, but specific question about this kind of battery
These "gold" batteries are worse than a gold iPhone.
Jokes aside, don't ever buy these. Ever. No quality control and super fake mah labels. My backup second-hand Galaxy S came with a 2640mah gold battery. The size is same as the original... lasts even less.
I don't remember maybe someone her will. There's a 3000mah battery for the gs4 that's the same size just no NFC. May be zerolemon unsure.

just get the original battery. I think samsung is packaging it with its own battery charger as well.
Anyway, I am not the type whom like to snap off the case to change a battery, i would stick to portable charger or case battery which is more convenient.

surprisingly most batteries (Even blatant knockoffs) have the advertised capacity, except the 3600 mAh ones. Just grab a Cameron Sino or one of the original-looking ones and you'll be fine
I got a replacement OEM from the states for 5 quid - it was the cheapest on ebay at the time. Works perfectly. My phone returned to it's formal glory, except for Quick Charging which was broken before.
Just ordered this one: it's supposed to be for the Axon 7s which I think as the same structure inside, so it must fit well. Seems legit, 3320mAh as the Axon 7s is 3400 mAh
Battery Aliexpress
And 2 speakers as the bottom one seems non fonctional and the top one is not sounding good anymore

I'm still waiting for the battery, this is Aliexpress
For the 3650 mAh, just a little search on the forum will answer your question, or a search on Aliexpress. SPOILER: it's a 3200mAh
Just received my battery.
Just a reminder, it was supposed to be a battery for Axon 7s which has a greater capacity.
The battery I received is a standard yellow one for Axon 7 with ZTE logo.
I'm too busy to install it right now, I hope it's a legit one and has a standard capacity.
Conclusion: you can't find any Axon 7s battery
I ordered mine off Amazon called Cameron Sino like someone here said earlier and it's working good for now I hope it stays this way for a while. I've read about 3rd party batteries degrading too fast compared to oem ones. Almost doubled my battery life compared to a 2 year old battery i was using before this

For my first time I would say not too bad but I did end up scratching the speaker grills and ordering a replacement. To me, getting the speaker cover out was harder than the actual battery. I've posted some sot screenshots in a different thread if u are interested in seeing them. And as a first timer also have advice for others who want to try it as well so they don't make the same mistakes as me. It can be worth it if u don't care about keeping your device that mint anymore. But it can still also be mint depending how good u are at replacing it. If u use a case, the scratches can be covered up anyways. Imo I would say only do it if u had your phone for too long or got bored of it. Once u know how to do it perfectly, this can almost futureproof the phone and u might not feel like switching anymore. Another time to do it could be when u order an already used one for less than half the price of a new and have nothing to lose. Replacing the battery will make it feel new again and u just got yourself a good deal. There are a bunch for sale either on swappa or ebay. I think people usually sell their phones because battery degradation is the main reason and they went for a new phone instead of replacing it themselves
I need a battery replacement too.
I get 1.30 hours screen on time and Battery Saver is enabled all the time.
If I use WiFi I lose 1 percent every 30/60 seconds.
I need it mostly on screen.
I checked accubattery multiple times once it said 1.950 mah left and now 2.150 mah.
I'm running Android 9 but I got worse results on older Versions of Android. I don't even play games now.
Is this all battery fault?

I dunno if you replaced your battery since posting, but I had the same levels of battery degradation as you. I just changed my battery... And this thing is flying again and not feeling like it'll shutdown after 3-4 hours of use. It's crazy how much my device was throttling with the old battery.
Be careful not to damage the screen ribbon. Also not to over heat the grills distorting them. The glue on the camera glass has to go during assembly.
I've looking around for a compatible LiPo battery and i found this:

Can someone give a real experience about using a LiPo battery in our devices?
Edit: The main thing about this is, Is there really a Li-Po option to our phones? it would be great

I don't know where to find genuine ones but i have bought 2 service genuine but they didn't last long it used to be.

I can recommend a brand, NFE² or Polarcell

Polarcell Lithium Polymer Battery 2700mAh for Sony Xperia Z3 Compact ==>> Search for it akkushop-online/de and cellephone/de
In my opinion you should go for something more expensive or better-known custom battery. Since the construction is nearly 5 years old, the brand new original batteries will be also at least around 3-4 yrs old, thus, they won't have the original capacity, etc. You'll only have problems with battery life. And also there's a post around here on xda, where somebody put an original Samsung Galaxy S9 or S8 battery into the Z3c. Hope helped a bit
