That's it, I want to flash a custom Oreo ROM but I'd miss the lock/unlock with fingerprint gesture that we have with stock.
Almost all custom ROMs have the feature to wake the device without registering a fingerprint!
for locking the device, however, you'd need EX kernel manager for it..(provided Kernel supports it)
You can always flash custom kernels like Frostbitten, Loony & Waiver (if the kernel that comes with the ROM does not support it) as they support fingerprint wake and sleep and power options as well..

In some custom ROM exists this function, but in others not, it is possible to enable having the smartphone with root?
Interesting question. I've seen it working on Lineage OS
I'm looking for a custom rom where the fingerprint isn't spazzing out as soon as you touch it, if there is any.
I have installed the newest version of Lineageos 17.1 on my Galaxy S8, and so far its looks good Greta job done with the rom.
On stock rom, it was possible to have a clock on the lock screen, so time could be seen without doing or touching the phone/screen..
Is that possible on the costum rom? I haven't so far, not been able to find that feature. If not, will it perhaps be possible in the future?

So I just updated my Poco M3 to the the version of CRDROID v9.6, I don't know if it is in the settings or somthing but whenever I need to unlock my phone using my fingerprint, the screen must be on for it to work. How do I unlock my phone using fingerprint without my screen on?
